thing_n for_o this_o be_v a_o work_n of_o god_n and_o reserve_v to_o he_o as_o his_o peculiar_a royalty_n who_o have_v the_o heart_n in_o his_o hand_n and_o the_o will_n in_o his_o power_n 21.1_o pro._n 21.1_o to_o turn_v and_o incline_v they_o how_o and_o which_o way_n it_o please_v he_o chap._n v._o to_o love_n god_n above_o all_o thing_n a_o man_n can_v learn_v of_o himself_o it_o be_v true_a that_o the_o natural_a understanding_n of_o man_n may_v from_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o creature_n raise_v itself_o to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o eternal_a power_n instruction_n how_o the_o say_a law_n must_v be_v keep_v or_o observe_v as_o likewise_o the_o good_a and_o advantage_n which_o accrue_v to_o man_n by_o keep_v of_o the_o same_o as_o well_o as_o the_o loss_n and_o evil_n that_o happen_v to_o man_n for_o transgress_v of_o it_o but_o when_o we_o come_v to_o compare_v our_o duty_n with_o our_o performance_n than_o it_o appear_v that_o we_o never_o keep_v any_o one_o of_o the_o divine_a command_n and_o that_o we_o be_v throughout_o defile_v with_o sin_n we_o know_v also_o that_o no_o man_n can_v keep_v the_o law_n except_o he_o love_v god_n spirit_n of_o christ_n into_o the_o heart_n it_o serve_v only_o to_o work_v a_o more_o grievous_a death_n the_o jew_n have_v christ_n before_o their_o eye_n in_o their_o ear_n and_o in_o their_o hand_n but_o they_o have_v not_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n in_o their_o heart_n
and_o therefore_o be_v in_o a_o more_o damnable_a condition_n than_o the_o heathen_n they_o have_v receive_v many_o more_o benefit_n from_o he_o than_o from_o any_o one_o beside_o but_o yet_o do_v not_o love_v he_o in_o the_o high_a degree_n who_o have_v love_v they_o to_o the_o utmost_a so_o as_o to_o give_v his_o life_n for_o they_o and_o thus_o at_o this_o day_n we_o frequent_o find_v that_o god_n that_o be_v in_o they_o continual_o bring_v forth_o heavenly_a desire_n and_o that_o though_o they_o love_v god_n together_o with_o other_o thing_n yet_o they_o love_v he_o above_o and_o more_o than_o they_o wherefore_o also_o the_o beginner_n fall_v often_o into_o many_o lesser_a sin_n by_o the_o delight_n he_o take_v in_o temporal_a profit_n honour_n and_o pleasure_n and_o into_o strong_a fear_n and_o apprehension_n of_o temporal_a loss_n and_o trouble_v find_v also_o in_o himself_o strong_a inclination_n to_o deadly_a sin_n so_o that_o often_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o sin_n but_o that_o the_o friendly_a and_o lovely_a perception_n of_o god_n in_o his_o heart_n do_v hinder_v he_o wherefore_o it_o still_o appear_v that_o whatsoever_o the_o love_n of_o god_n above_o all_o thing_n
