will_v it_o suffice_v that_o parent_n do_v in_o some_o respect_n engage_v for_o their_o child_n and_o give_v they_o away_o unto_o god_n all_o these_o thing_n do_v not_o avail_v the_o child_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o of_o godly_a predecessor_n be_v cast_v out_o unless_o a_o man_n in_o his_o own_o person_n put_v out_o faith_n in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o with_o his_o own_o heart_n please_v and_o acquiesce_v in_o that_o device_n of_o save_a sinner_n he_o can_v be_v save_v i_o grant_v this_o faith_n be_v give_v unto_o he_o by_o christ_n but_o certain_a it_o be_v that_o it_o must_v be_v personal_a 2._o this_o duty_n must_v be_v cordial_a and_o hearty_a with_o the_o heart_n man_n believe_v unto_o righteousness_n rom._n 10._o 10._o a_o man_n must_v be_v sincere_a and_o without_o guile_n in_o close_v with_o christ_n judge_v he_o the_o only_a cover_n of_o the_o eye_n not_o hanker_a after_o another_o way_n the_o matter_n must_v not_o swim_v only_o in_o the_o head_n or_o understanding_n but_o it_o must_v be_v in_o the_o heart_n the_o man_n not_o only_o must_v be_v persuade_v that_o christ_n be_v the_o way_n but_o affectionate_o persuade_v of_o it_o love_v and_o like_v the_o thing_n have_v complacency_n in_o it_o so_o that_o it_o be_v all_o a_o man_n desire_n as_o david_n speak_v of_o the_o covenant_n 2_o sam._n 23._o 5._o if_o a_o man_n be_v cordial_a and_o affectionate_a in_o any_o thing_n sure_o he_o must_v be_v so_o here_o in_o this_o one_o thing_n necessary_a it_o must_v not_o be_v simple_o a_o fancy_n in_o the_o head_n but_o it_o must_v be_v a_o
