even_o all_o who_o be_v not_o themselves_o object_n of_o charity_n be_v oblige_v to_o contribute_v something_o to_o the_o relief_n of_o the_o poor_a and_o indigent_a thereby_o to_o testify_v their_o homage_n to_o and_o dependence_n upon_o god_n and_o if_o person_n be_v wil_v they_o easy_o may_v render_v themselves_o able_a to_o do_v either_o more_o or_o less_o they_o who_o live_v on_o their_o proper_a industry_n and_o have_v nothing_o but_o as_o they_o earn_v it_o may_v lay_v by_o a_o day_n or_o half_a day_n work_v in_o the_o week_n &_o servant_n who_o work_v to_o other_o may_v give_v a_o part_n of_o their_o wage_n or_o one_o or_o two_o meal_n a_o week_n and_o if_o every_o one_o study_n to_o enable_v themselves_o and_o give_v according_a to_o their_o ability_n though_o it_o be_v little_a it_o will_v be_v as_o acceptable_a as_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o rich._n i_o never_o see_v the_o mean_a sort_n of_o people_n even_o such_o as_o seem_v scarce_o to_o have_v their_o necessary_n but_o they_o will_v find_v out_o some_o shift_n for_o money_n when_o they_o have_v a_o friend_n or_o neighbour_n marriage_n to_o go_v to_o and_o sure_a if_o they_o be_v as_o intent_n upon_o charitable_a deed_n they_o may_v take_v the_o same_o course_n to_o enable_v they_o thereto_o the_o want_n of_o ability_n therefore_o proceed_v too_o often_o from_o the_o want_n of_o will_n it_o be_v because_o we_o think_v not_o ourselves_o oblige_v to_o do_v good_a or_o that_o it_o be_v enough_o if_o we_o do_v any_o though_o never_o so_o little_a but_o we_o shall_v consider_v that_o we_o ought_v to_o lay_v ourselves_o out_o to_o this_o we_o shall_v be_v industrious_a in_o this_o matter_n and_o aught_o to_o endeavour_v as_o much_o to_o be_v rich_a in_o good_a work_n as_o to_o be_v rich_a in_o worldly_a good_n nay_o the_o main_a reason_n why_o we_o shall_v labour_v to_o be_v rich_a towards_o the_o world_n be_v that_o we_o may_v be_v rich_a towards_o god_n and_o that_o we_o may_v have_v to_o give_v to_o they_o that_o need_v which_o lead_v i_o to_o the_o three_o and_o last_o thing_n propose_v viz_o to_o give_v some_o motive_n to_o persuade_v and_o excite_v to_o the_o exercise_n of_o this_o duty_n of_o charity_n and_o first_o we_o shall_v begin_v with_o what_o indeed_o shall_v be_v the_o chief_a end_n of_o such_o good_a work_n and_o alms-deed_n and_o the_o principle_n from_o which_o they_o shall_v flow_v viz_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o desire_n of_o please_v he_o though_o one_o will_v give_v never_o so_o much_o this_o way_n even_o all_o his_o good_n to_o feed_v the_o poor_a if_o it_o be_v not_o out_o of_o love_n to_o god_n it_o will_v profit_v nothing_o he_o will_v neither_o find_v acceptance_n nor_o reward_n but_o as_o what_o we_o do_v of_o this_o kind_n shall_v be_v out_o of_o love_n to_o god_n so_o if_o we_o have_v any_o sincere_a love_n to_o he_o any_o true_a regard_n for_o he_o any_o hearty_a desire_n to_o infinuate_v our_o self_n in_o his_o favour_n we_o can_v but_o be_v forward_o to_o and_o much_o set_v upon_o the_o work_n of_o charity_n and_o mercy_n because_o he_o delight_v in_o these_o thing_n be_v well_o please_v with_o they_o and_o true_o
