observance_n call_v christ_n lord_n lord_n to_o make_v profession_n of_o his_o name_n and_o gospel_n then_o certain_o this_o will_v excite_v we_o also_o to_o do_v his_o will_n and_o observe_v his_o commandment_n it_o be_v the_o very_a natural_a result_n of_o love_n the_o proper_a fruit_n and_o expression_n of_o it_o to_o be_v observant_a of_o the_o person_n who_o be_v love_v to_o take_v a_o delight_n in_o do_v their_o will_n and_o pleasure_n love_n do_v always_o discover_v itself_o this_o way_n and_o it_o be_v simple_o impossible_a for_o it_o not_o to_o do_v so_o and_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a they_o have_v little_a or_o no_o love_n who_o can_v show_v it_o this_o way_n hereby_o a_o wife_n manifest_v her_o affection_n to_o her_o husband_n and_o child_n their_o love_n and_o respect_n to_o their_o parent_n and_o one_o man_n to_o another_o and_o when_o this_o method_n be_v not_o follow_v and_o these_o evidence_n give_v do_v we_o not_o present_o conclude_v that_o the_o person_n have_v little_a kindness_n or_o regard_n for_o each_o other_o now_o our_o love_n to_o christ_n must_v follow_v the_o same_o course_n and_o express_v itself_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n if_o you_o 24._o love_v i_o say_v he_o keep_v my_o commandment_n and_o again_o he_o that_o have_v my_o commandment_n and_o keep_v they_o he_o it_o be_v that_o love_v i_o if_o a_o man_n love_v i_o he_o will_v keep_v my_o word_n but_o he_o that_o love_v i_o not_o keep_v not_o my_o say_n and_o therefore_o if_o love_n be_v the_o motive_n of_o our_o profess_v christ_n it_o will_v not_o rest_v there_o it_o will_v carry_v we_o further_o even_o to_o the_o do_v whatsoever_o he_o have_v command_v we_o beside_o the_o two_o inducement_n already_o reward_n mention_v there_o be_v one_o other_o motive_n which_o may_v persuade_v we_o to_o come_v to_o christ_n and_o to_o yield_v ourselves_o his_o disciple_n and_o that_o be_v the_o hope_n of_o these_o reward_n he_o have_v to_o bestow_v these_o service_n be_v much_o seek_v after_o which_o be_v honourable_a and_o profitable_a and_o true_o there_o be_v none_o which_o have_v more_o either_o of_o honour_n or_o profit_n than_o this_o of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n there_o be_v more_o advantage_n of_o have_v he_o our_o master_n than_o in_o serve_v king_n and_o prince_n or_o the_o great_a in_o the_o world_n for_o beside_o the_o temporal_a benefit_n and_o spiritual_a blessing_n which_o he_o give_v in_o this_o present_a life_n he_o give_v glory_n and_o eternal_a happiness_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o therefore_o we_o may_v with_o good_a reason_n say_v with_o st._n peter_n when_o our_o lord_n ask_v he_o will_v you_o also_o go_v away_o 68_o from_o i_o to_o who_o shall_v we_o go_v thou_o have_v the_o word_n of_o eternal_a life_n the_o hope_n of_o reward_n than_o may_v reasonable_o excite_v we_o to_o own_o and_o profess_v christ_n but_o we_o do_v in_o vain_a look_n for_o his_o reward_n without_o pay_v he_o due_a obedience_n what_o i_o pray_v you_o be_v there_o any_o man_n expect_v that_o will_v pay_v his_o servant_n his_o wage_n when_o he_o have_v not_o perform_v his_o work_n do_v we_o think_v our_o lord_n will_v bestow_v upon_o we_o the_o eternal_a reward_n of_o the_o other_o world_n when_o we_o have_v do_v nothing_o for_o it_o he_o tell_v the_o woman_n of_o canaan_n that_o it_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o take_v the_o child_n bread_n and_o cast_v it_o to_o the_o dog_n and_o we_o may_v be_v sure_o he_o will_v never_o think_v it_o just_a to_o make_v the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n to_o share_v alike_o as_o those_o that_o do_v sincere_o obey_v he_o not_o every_o one_o that_o say_v unto_o i_o lord_n lord_n 23._o shall_v enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n but_o he_o that_o do_v the_o will_n obey_v unrighteousness_n he_o will_v give_v indignation_n and_o wrath_n and_o as_o christ_n will_v never_o bestow_v heaven_n it_o and_o that_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n
