propound_v it_o thus_o and_o no_o more_o as_o you_o see_v in_o moses_n he_o write_v nothing_o but_o 1._o in_o the_o beginning_n god_n make_v heaven_n and_o earth_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o apostle_n write_v such_o a_o thing_n be_v do_v 2._o jesus_n christ_n be_v bear_v of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n thus_o and_o thus_o he_o do_v now_o when_o the_o naked_a object_n be_v propound_v other_o writer_n what_o they_o deliver_v or_o write_v be_v rational_a they_o use_v reason_n and_o argument_n to_o convince_v man_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o they_o deliver_v but_o when_o the_o scripture_n that_o certain_o there_o be_v a_o mighty_a power_n that_o go_v out_o from_o god_n &_o from_o christ_n that_o enable_v thou_o to_o believe_v with_o this_o efficacy_n that_o where_o the_o object_n be_v set_v before_o thou_o there_o go_v out_o a_o power_n from_o he_o to_o work_v faith_n in_o thy_o heart_n whereby_o thou_o true_o believe_v it_o and_o so_o it_o appear_v in_o thy_o life_n we_o think_v we_o believe_v those_o thing_n but_o our_o life_n do_v manifest_v the_o contrary_a namely_o that_o there_o be_v not_o a_o powerful_a faith_n wrought_v in_o we_o for_o all_o the_o error_n of_o our_o god_n or_o to_o come_v near_o he_o for_o all_o love_n rise_v from_o similitude_n there_o must_v be_v a_o agreement_n and_o similitude_n between_o those_o two_o that_o love_n now_o every_o man_n by_o natural_a parent_n there_o be_v a_o natural_a affection_n to_o their_o child_n so_o if_o i_o be_v not_o immediate_o to_o present_v your_o petition_n though_o that_o be_v not_o exclude_v yet_o say_v the_o covenant_n those_o that_o be_v regenerate_v man_n you_o must_v mark_v it_o well_o for_o it_o be_v a_o point_n of_o much_o use_n when_o they_o commit_v sin_n against_o god_n the_o guilt_n of_o their_o sin_n be_v retain_v though_o they_o be_v within_o the_o covenant_n and_o be_v not_o cut_v off_o from_o christ_n but_o be_v in_o he_o yet_o i_o say_v when_o they_o have_v sin_v the_o guilt_n of_o their_o sin_n continue_v and_o be_v continue_v till_o they_o be_v reconcile_v and_o renew_v by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n as_o you_o see_v it_o be_v with_o david_n nathan_n will_v not_o have_v particular_a offence_n he_o withdraw_v himself_o from_o he_o he_o carry_v not_o himself_o to_o he_o as_o he_o be_v wont_a to_o do_v be_v offend_v with_o he_o for_o such_o a_o fault_n now_o till_o the_o son_n have_v reconcile_v and_o humble_v himself_o for_o that_o particular_a action_n though_o the_o father_n have_v a_o hundred_o gift_n to_o bestow_v on_o he_o yet_o he_o shall_v have_v none_o of_o they_o till_o he_o have_v reconcile_v himself_o so_o think_v with_o thyself_o if_o any_o sin_n lie_v in_o the_o way_n when_o thou_o come_v to_o partake_v of_o this_o privilege_n to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n or_o when_o thou_o come_v to_o call_v on_o god_n for_o any_o particular_a mercy_n or_o to_o have_v any_o request_n grant_v think_v then_o with_o thyself_o such_o a_o sin_n i_o commit_v i_o must_v humble_v myself_o for_o it_o i_o must_v labour_v to_o make_v reconciliation_n labour_v to_o have_v this_o take_v away_o that_o my_o father_n may_v be_v reconcily_v to_o i_o then_o be_v fervent_a you_o have_v it_o in_o the_o same_o place_n the_o prayer_n of_o a_o righteous_a man_n avail_v much_o if_o it_o be_v fervent_a that_o be_v it_o must_v be_v a_o prayer_n make_v from_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o misery_n that_o be_v in_o we_o and_o from_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n when_o a_o man_n take_v a_o thing_n to_o heart_n that_o he_o pray_v for_o and_o come_v with_o confidence_n to_o be_v hear_v for_o that_o make_v he_o fervent_a this_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v and_o also_o he_o will_v have_v it_o faithful_a james_n the_o first_o when_o the_o apostle_n exhort_v they_o to_o our_o youth_n in_o our_o strength_n in_o the_o flower_n of_o our_o grace_n our_o time_n be_v to_o go_v to_o he_o when_o we_o need_v he_o will_v not_o a_o friend_n say_v when_o we_o never_o come_v to_o he_o that_o believe_v make_v no_o haste_n that_o be_v he_o wait_v upon_o god_n he_o stay_v himself_o upon_o god_n he_o be_v content_a to_o have_v it_o in_o that_o time_n in_o that_o manner_n and_o measure_n as_o best_o please_v the_o lord_n for_o the_o truth_n be_v we_o know_v not_o ourselves_o what_o be_v meet_v for_o we_o we_o be_v unto_o the_o lord_n just_a as_o the_o patient_n be_v to_o the_o physician_n the_o patient_a be_v importunate_a with_o he_o for_o such_o thing_n to_o refresh_v and_o ease_v he_o but_o the_o physician_n know_v what_o best_o belong_v to_o he_o and_o when_o to_o give_v he_o such_o thing_n in_o what_o manner_n and_o in_o what_o measure_n so_o the_o lord_n know_v best_a what_o to_o do_v many_o time_n he_o do_v the_o same_o thing_n that_o we_o desire_v though_o he_o do_v it_o not_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n even_o as_o the_o physician_n he_o quench_v often_o the_o thirst_n with_o barberries_n or_o with_o such_o kind_n of_o conserves_n what_o though_o it_o be_v not_o with_o drink_n be_v it_o not_o all_o one_o so_o the_o thirst_n be_v quench_v be_v it_o not_o all_o one_o whether_o a_o man_n be_v hinder_v from_o strike_v i_o or_o if_o i_o have_v a_o helmet_n to_o defend_v the_o blow_n sometime_o the_o lord_n keep_v not_o off_o the_o enemy_n but_o then_o he_o give_v we_o a_o helmet_n to_o keep_v off_o those_o blow_n to_o bear_v those_o injury_n and_o evil_n that_o be_v do_v to_o we_o he_o be_v a_o wise_a physician_n he_o know_v what_o manner_n what_o measure_n and_o what_o time_n be_v best_a therefore_o that_o must_v be_v refer_v to_o he_o now_o these_o condition_n be_v observe_v you_o must_v know_v that_o this_o great_a privilege_n belong_v to_o every_o christian_a that_o whatsoever_o prayer_n he_o make_v on_o earth_n he_o be_v sure_a
