and_o how_o many_o breach_n have_v god_n make_v in_o this_o relation_n to_o punish_v the_o sin_n of_o both_o extreme_n it_o may_v be_v thy_o love_n be_v immoderate_a and_o therefore_o god_n have_v take_v thy_o relation_n from_o thou_o or_o it_o may_v be_v thy_o love_n be_v deficient_a and_o therefore_o god_n have_v take_v thy_o relation_n from_o thou_o when_o thou_o wâ—st_v sick_a and_o thou_o think_v thou_o shall_v have_v die_v do_v not_o thy_o conscience_n then_o accuse_v thou_o for_o one_o of_o these_o in_o thy_o relation_n and_o yet_o have_v god_n spare_v thou_o and_o thy_o wife_n or_o there_o be_v many_o this_o day_n may_v be_v lament_v not_o so_o much_o the_o loss_n of_o this_o relation_n as_o that_o they_o do_v not_o walk_v sutablie_o in_o this_o relation_n while_o they_o be_v in_o it_o this_o be_v the_o sting_n of_o their_o affliction_n oh_o methinks_v such_o as_o god_n have_v continue_v in_o a_o conjugal_a relation_n in_o this_o time_n of_o great_a mortality_n shall_v look_v upon_o themselves_o now_o more_o engage_v to_o perform_v their_o mutual_a duty_n with_o more_o care_n and_o conscience_n than_o before_o such_o a_o one_o have_v bury_v his_o wife_n and_o such_o a_o one_o have_v bury_v her_o husband_n but_o god_n have_v preserve_v you_o in_o your_o relation_n you_o can_v live_v answerablie_o for_o this_o mercy_n but_o in_o a_o better_a discharge_n of_o your_o mutual_a duty_n how_o will_v you_o wish_v you_o have_v love_v your_o relation_n wife_n or_o husband_n if_o god_n have_v take_v either_o away_o by_o death_n so_o do_v now_o when_o god_n continue_v you_o both_o in_o life_n because_o this_o conduce_v so_o much_o to_o a_o answerable_a return_n for_o so_o great_a a_o mercy_n i_o will_v a_o little_a insist_v upon_o it_o and_o in_o the_o general_n if_o you_o will_v improve_v this_o mercy_n the_o direction_n be_v that_o your_o love_n and_o affection_n be_v such_o one_o to_o another_o as_o be_v the_o love_n betwixt_o christ_n and_o the_o church_n eph._n 2.25_o husband_n love_v your_o wife_n even_o as_o christ_n love_v the_o church_n and_o give_v himself_o for_o it_o and_o this_o love_n of_o the_o husband_n must_v be_v requite_v with_o the_o all_o sublunary_a thing_n though_o your_o love_n to_o god_n and_o christ_n must_v be_v more_o than_o your_o love_n one_o to_o another_o else_o it_o do_v sinful_o exceed_v for_o if_o any_o love_v father_n or_o mother_n husband_n or_o wife_n more_o than_o christ_n he_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o he_o yet_o in_o respect_n of_o all_o other_o person_n and_o thing_n in_o this_o world_n it_o must_v be_v more_o else_o it_o be_v sinful_o deficient_a a_o man_n must_v love_v his_o wife_n above_o all_o other_o person_n above_o his_o estate_n or_o whatsoever_o be_v dear_a unto_o he_o in_o this_o world_n and_o so_o the_o wife_n thus_o christ_n love_v his_o church_n and_o a_o believe_a soul_n above_o all_o other_o person_n and_o the_o church_n reciprocallie_o love_v christ_n above_o all_o the_o field_n yea_o the_o near_a it_o be_v to_o he_o if_o in_o his_o bed_n his_o hatred_n be_v raise_v so_o much_o the_o more_o and_o the_o near_a sin_n be_v to_o your_o heart_n the_o more_o you_o shall_v hate_v it_o he_o that_o can_v sin_v secret_o when_o he_o will_v not_o open_o it_o be_v not_o because_o he_o hate_v the_o sin_n but_o because_o he_o hate_v the_o disgrace_n which_o that_o sin_n will_v expose_v he_o to_o before_o men._n 4._o fear_n possess_v thy_o heart_n with_o the_o true_a fear_n of_o god_n fear_v of_o shame_n and_o lessen_v our_o esteem_n among_o man_n may_v keep_v from_o open_a sin_n but_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n do_v steel_n and_o antidote_n the_o heart_n against_o all_o sin_n when_o our_o restraint_n from_o sin_n be_v terminate_v in_o god_n it_o will_v be_v a_o hypocrisy_n be_v consistent_a with_o a_o constant_a course_n of_o secret_a sin_n but_o sincerity_n of_o heart_n do_v diminish_v the_o act_n and_o habit_n of_o sin_n 6._o approbation_n make_v it_o your_o great_a design_n to_o have_v the_o approbation_n of_o god_n he_o that_o do_v hunt_v after_o the_o commendation_n of_o man_n will_v be_v good_a when_o man_n do_v see_v he_o but_o he_o that_o than_o you_o have_v do_v be_v call_v to_o duty_n where_o visited_n person_n have_v be_v as_o to_o help_v they_o that_o be_v sick_a of_o this_o distemper_n etc._n etc._n and_o yet_o some_o that_o live_v more_o retire_o and_o keep_v themselves_o more_o close_o be_v visited_n and_o be_v dead_a and_o yet_o you_o have_v escape_v this_o be_v the_o finger_n of_o divine_a providence_n and_o will_v you_o let_v the_o sense_n of_o this_o wear_v off_o from_o your_o heart_n 5._o consider_v that_o you_o have_v be_v more_o weak_o and_o more_o infirm_a of_o body_n than_o many_o of_o they_o that_o the_o plague_n have_v remove_v many_o that_o be_v more_o likely_a to_o outlive_v you_o be_v cut_v down_o before_o you_o many_o that_o be_v strong_a and_o of_o healthful_a constitution_n be_v lay_v in_o the_o dust_n while_o you_o that_o have_v be_v wait_v for_o your_o dissolution_n many_o month_n or_o year_n because_o of_o the_o infirmity_n of_o your_o body_n and_o the_o frequent_a distemper_n that_o have_v be_v upon_o you_o be_v preserve_v 6._o consider_v how_o great_a a_o mercy_n your_o praservation_n be_v not_o only_o to_o yourself_o but_o to_o those_o to_o who_o you_o be_v relate_v you_o have_v many_o little_a child_n that_o be_v not_o able_a to_o help_v themselves_o nor_o to_o provide_v for_o themselves_o that_o in_o all_o likelihood_n will_v have_v be_v expose_v to_o hardship_n
