for_o these_o thing_n as_o the_o prophet_n my_o eye_n run_v down_o with_o tear_n and_o for_o these_o thing_n youâ—_n soul_n mourn_v in_o secret_a i_o will_v only_o put_v it_o to_o your_o conscience_n and_o ask_v your_o soul_n the_o question_n you_o will_v i_o believe_v be_v glad_a to_o get_v on_o the_o other_o side_n of_o this_o storm_n that_o be_v now_o begin_v and_o have_v some_o assurance_n that_o you_o shall_v outlive_v the_o present_a providence_n why_o if_o you_o will_v then_o labour_v to_o get_v some_o of_o the_o mark_n that_o be_v to_o be_v find_v upon_o those_o that_o god_n do_v use_v to_o deliver_v from_o such_o calamity_n 2._o what_o love_n have_v you_o for_o god_n because_o he_o have_v set_v his_o love_n upon_o i_o say_v god_n therefore_o will_v i_o deliver_v he_o put_v the_o question_n home_o to_o your_o own_o soul_n and_o see_v what_o answer_n will_v be_v make_v can_v you_o say_v you_o have_v set_v your_o love_n upon_o god_n and_o christ_n i_o believe_v we_o may_v say_v most_o of_o we_o we_o see_v he_o lovely_a we_o have_v raise_v affection_n and_o desire_n after_o he_o but_o can_v we_o say_v we_o have_v set_v our_o love_n upon_o he_o that_o he_o be_v the_o centre_n upon_o which_o our_o soul_n have_v fix_v that_o we_o see_v no_o excellence_n in_o any_o thing_n that_o can_v satisfy_v our_o soul_n save_v only_o in_o he_o can_v you_o say_v you_o have_v live_v up_o to_o that_o direction_n of_o the_o apostle_n set_v your_o affection_n on_o thing_n above_o and_o not_o on_o thing_n on_o the_o earth_n faith_n and_o love_n be_v the_o two_o great_a thing_n that_o distinguish_v a_o saint_n and_o a_o empty_a professor_n now_o what_o say_v you_o do_v you_o love_v he_o if_o your_o heart_n be_v not_o only_o run_v out_o after_o he_o but_o set_v upon_o he_o than_o he_o be_v you_o and_o then_o you_o may_v expect_v he_o will_v look_v after_o your_o preservation_n only_o this_o i_o will_v say_v soâ—e_a soul_n there_o be_v that_o dare_v not_o say_v they_o against_o unbelief_n 2._o security_n a_o people_n not_o be_v affect_v with_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n it_o lay_v they_o as_o much_o open_a to_o the_o weight_n of_o the_o judgement_n as_o any_o thing_n else_o isa_n 5.11_o and_o the_o harp_n and_o the_o viol_n etc._n etc._n a_o regardless_a sottish_a stupid_a people_n that_o be_v not_o affect_v with_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n shall_v fall_v by_o they_o 3._o presumption_n also_o which_o they_o call_v faith_n and_o that_o do_v as_o certain_o lay_v open_a the_o soul_n to_o misery_n as_o any_o other_o thing_n that_o have_v be_v hint_v now_o consider_v a_o little_a how_o it_o be_v with_o you_o be_v your_o faith_n true_a faith_n or_o be_v it_o not_o security_n be_v it_o not_o presumption_n be_v you_o sure_a it_o be_v faith_n if_o not_o it_o will_v do_v you_o no_o service_n you_o may_v think_v it_o be_v faith_n when_o it_o may_v prove_v somewhat_o else_o it_o may_v prove_v security_n you_o think_v you_o have_v faith_n because_o you_o have_v not_o fear_v i_o tell_v you_o soul_n there_o may_v and_o shall_v be_v a_o awe_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o be_v faith_n as_o i_o will_v tell_v you_o by_o and_o by_o you_o may_v think_v it_o faith_n because_o you_o be_v secure_a and_o not_o much_o affect_v but_o take_v heed_n lest_o it_o shall_v disappoint_v thou_o if_o it_o be_v not_o faith_n it_o may_v lay_v you_o open_a to_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o cut_v you_o short_a of_o be_v one_o of_o the_o escape_v remnant_n as_o well_o as_o any_o thing_n else_o whatever_a if_o you_o have_v true_a faith_n you_o will_v know_v it_o by_o one_o or_o two_o thing_n 1._o you_o will_v be_v sensible_a of_o your_o great_a unworthiness_n to_o receive_v any_o thing_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n or_o to_o be_v preserve_v by_o he_o that_o be_v the_o property_n of_o faith_n it_o be_v a_o humble_v grace_n a_o self-abasing_a grace_n lam._n 3.22_o it_o be_v of_o the_o lord_n mercy_n we_o be_v not_o consume_v here_o be_v faith_n at_o
