earnest_a set_n herself_o to_o think_v of_o what_o cause_n they_o proceed_v attribute_v all_o to_o her_o own_o default_n and_o enforce_v herself_o to_o look_v curious_o into_o they_o three_o of_o set_a purpose_n procure_v with_o great_a diligence_n to_o free_v herself_o of_o they_o to_o take_v order_n to_o remedy_v all_o and_o return_v to_o her_o first_o estate_n esteem_v the_o present_a to_o that_o nothing_o do_v help_v she_o and_o that_o she_o go_v from_o evil_a to_o worse_o suppose_v they_o the_o soul_n to_o be_v exercise_v in_o these_o foresay_a degree_n it_o be_v needful_a she_o consider_v with_o herself_o &_o principal_o with_o the_o help_n of_o he_o that_o guide_v she_o the_o secret_a and_o marvellous_a mystery_n that_o be_v hide_v herein_o for_o the_o first_o they_o let_v she_o know_v that_o the_o true_a cause_n of_o all_o that_o be_v say_v be_v the_o divine_a providence_n who_o will_v to_o make_v proof_n and_o to_o purify_v a_o soul_n after_o he_o have_v enrich_v she_o with_o virtue_n and_o great_a strength_n in_o the_o superior_a part_n be_v wont_a to_o retire_v his_o accustom_a succour_n without_o the_o which_o these_o virtue_n can_v work_v whereof_o it_o come_v that_o although_o she_o have_v they_o yet_o do_v they_o seem_v to_o she_o that_o she_o have_v they_o not_o and_o from_o hence_o follow_v darkness_n aridity_n and_o other_o misery_n already_o speak_v off_o notwithstanding_o the_o grace_n and_o foresay_a virtue_n remain_v in_o the_o soul_n as_o before_o for_o the_o second_o this_o subtraction_n or_o divine_a withdraw_n do_v not_o proceed_v wit_n the_o same_o internal_a act_n or_o operation_n touch_v his_o object_n as_o for_o example_n the_o practical_a knowledge_n and_o election_n or_o lawful_a desire_n to_o have_v a_o will_n to_o suffer_v to_o have_v a_o will_n to_o love_n god_n to_o have_v a_o will_n to_o be_v temperate_a chaste_a obedient_a not_o to_o consent_v unto_o sin_n etc._n etc._n there_o be_v also_o the_o act_n reflective_a that_o turn_v to_o ward_n itself_o to_o wit_n to_o discern_v &_o judge_v whether_o he_o do_v such_o a_o act_n whereby_o he_o may_v receive_v contentment_n and_o rejoice_v therein_o for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n for_o that_o he_o discern_v himself_o by_o the_o same_o to_o be_v strong_a and_o victorious_a over_o temptation_n with_o great_a repose_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o
