another_o faculty_n by_o the_o mere_a knowledge_n of_o truth_n but_o this_o suppose_v so_o much_o of_o that_o also_o as_o be_v necessary_a and_o because_o the_o act_n of_o the_o understanding_n be_v subservient_fw-fr and_o in_o order_n to_o those_o of_o the_o will_n in_o the_o soul_n pursuit_n of_o a_o delightful_a good_a which_o be_v so_o far_o attain_v as_o it_o actual_o delight_v therein_o therefore_o this_o may_v more_o simple_o be_v call_v the_o rest_n of_o the_o whole_a soul_n whereas_o that_o other_o be_v its_o rest_n but_o in_o some_o respect_n only_o especial_o when_o we_o add_v as_o in_o the_o best_a and_o most_o excellent_a good_a for_o this_o signify_v the_o good_a wherein_o it_o rest_v to_o be_v ultimate_a and_o its_o last_o end_n the_o very_a period_n of_o its_o pursuit_n beyond_o which_o it_o neither_o need_v nor_o desire_n to_o go_v further_o viz._n as_o to_o the_o kind_n and_o nature_n of_o the_o good_a which_o it_o be_v now_o intent_n upon_o though_o it_o still_o desire_v more_o of_o the_o same_o till_o there_o be_v no_o place_n leave_v for_o further_a desire_n but_o it_o whole_o cease_v and_o end_v in_o full_a satisfaction_n and_o that_o we_o may_v take_v in_o he_o be_v according_a as_o the_o desire_n be_v which_o work_v towards_o he_o and_o that_o as_o our_o love_n to_o he_o be_v now_o we_o love_v he_o either_o for_o himself_o or_o for_o our_o own_o self_n for_o himself_o ultimate_o so_o as_o that_o our_o love_n period_n in_o he_o and_o stay_v there_o viz._n on_o he_o as_o good_a in_o himself_o for_o ourselves_o as_o when_o our_o love_n to_o he_o return_v upon_o ourselves_o apprehend_v a_o goodness_n in_o he_o which_o be_v suitable_a for_o our_o enjoyment_n love_v he_o in_o the_o former_a way_n we_o desire_v all_o may_v be_v ascribe_v and_o give_v to_o he_o that_o possible_o may_v or_o can_v and_o because_o we_o know_v he_o to_o be_v every_o way_n perfect_a and_o full_a and_o that_o nothing_o can_v be_v add_v to_o he_o of_o real_a perfection_n and_o therefore_o nothing_o can_v be_v give_v he_o beside_o external_a honour_n and_o acknowledgement_n we_o therefore_o desire_v these_o may_v be_v universal_o render_v he_o to_o the_o very_a uttermost_a and_o as_o far_o as_o we_o find_v he_o worthy_o glorify_v admire_v and_o have_v in_o honour_n so_o far_o we_o have_v delight_n in_o or_o in_o reference_n to_o he_o humility_n very_o often_o make_v a_o umbrage_n and_o shelter_n to_o the_o vile_a carnality_n of_o many_o a_o heart_n and_o a_o want_n of_o fitness_n be_v pretend_v and_o cherish_v at_o the_o same_o time_n as_o a_o excuse_n that_o whereas_o they_o do_v not_o delight_v in_o god_n they_o never_o may_v for_o he_o that_o be_v unfit_a to_o day_n and_o never_o therewithal_o apply_v himself_o with_o contrary_a as_o give_v much_o cause_n of_o doubt_n whether_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n to_o be_v rejoice_v in_o or_o no._n and_o what_o then_o be_v we_o to_o suspend_v the_o exercise_n of_o this_o a_o comfortable_a degree_n want_v that_o be_v not_o by_o it_o only_o but_o by_o itself_o without_o the_o present_a constant_a necessary_a concurrence_n thereof_o to_o afford_v unspeakable_a pleasure_n
