before_o our_o imagination_n the_o mount_n caluarie_n the_o cross_n &_o the_o crucifix_n which_o gush_v out_o blood_n on_o every_o side_n consideration_n be_v meditation_n itself_o which_o be_v a_o work_n of_o our_o understanding_n with_o which_o we_o discourse_v upon_o the_o present_a mystery_n consider_v du_o the_o circumstance_n of_o the_o same_o and_o ponder_v with_o ourselves_o who_o he_o be_v that_o suffer_v what_o he_o suffer_v for_o who_o &_o in_o what_o sort_n &_o sometime_o confer_v one_o thing_n with_o a_o other_o and_o procure_v always_o to_o draw_v some_o affection_n of_o love_n sorrow_n or_o the_o like_a as_o the_o mystery_n shall_v give_v we_o occasion_n prayer_n follow_v last_o in_o the_o end_n of_o meditation_n in_o which_o a_o man_n as_o it_o be_v now_o in_o own_o defect_n and_o necessity_n desire_v he_o to_o pardon_v they_o and_o with_o obsecration_n to_o request_v he_o of_o his_o grace_n of_o his_o gift_n and_o of_o such_o virtue_n as_o be_v needful_a suffer_v for_o christ_n who_o suffer_v so_o much_o for_o us._n 2._o that_o we_o mistrust_v to_o put_v our_o life_n in_o his_o hand_n who_o so_o joyful_o do_v give_v his_o life_n for_o us._n 3._o that_o we_o be_v so_o greedy_a of_o good_n and_o of_o worldly_a fame_n so_o much_o despise_v by_o christ_n 4._o that_o we_o be_v so_o afraid_a of_o death_n know_v that_o christ_n die_v who_o be_v the_o gate_n to_o go_v to_o heaven_n 5._o that_o christ_n for_o love_n of_o we_o neither_o esteem_v good_n nor_o honour_n nor_o life_n and_o that_o we_o be_v not_o answerable_a to_o so_o great_a love_n the_o petition_n to_o request_n grace_n to_o persevere_v on_o the_o cross_n till_o death_n and_o to_o be_v always_o mindful_a of_o the_o passion_n of_o christ_n crucify_v the_o prayer_n grant_v suffer_v infamous_a death_n in_o a_o infamous_a place_n of_o infamous_a person_n and_o with_o infamous_a word_n 2._o his_o patience_n humility_n love_n and_o contempt_n of_o the_o world_n 3._o his_o charity_n in_o pray_v his_o father_n that_o not_o only_o he_o will_v not_o throw_v they_o headlong_o down_o to_o hell_n but_o will_v also_o forgive_v they_o 4._o the_o cruelty_n of_o the_o jew_n for_o if_o such_o extremity_n have_v be_v use_v to_o any_o dog_n they_o will_v have_v move_v to_o compassion_n 5._o the_o marvel_n and_o wounder_a of_o the_o angel_n who_o do_v see_v these_o thing_n &_o what_o we_o ourselves_o will_v have_v do_v if_o we_o have_v be_v present_a at_o such_o enormity_n especial_o know_v he_o that_o suffer_v to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n point_n of_o confusion_n for_o us._n 1._o that_o christ_n be_v glorious_a suffer_v himself_o to_o be_v account_v as_o infamous_a and_o use_v as_o such_o a_o one_o and_o that_o we_o be_v in_o deed_n infamous_a through_o our_o sin_n and_o ungratefulnes_n will_v be_v esteem_v glorious_a 2._o that_o when_o any_o do_v contradict_v we_o we_o give_v they_o forthwith_o the_o lie_n provoke_v they_o to_o the_o combat_n and_o become_v
