brethren_n and_o thus_o i_o advance_v to_o the_o five_o sermon_n 1_o john_n 3.14_o we_o know_v that_o we_o have_v pass_v frâ—â—_n death_n to_o life_n because_o we_o love_v the_o brethren_n in_o these_o word_n five_o thing_n 1._o a_o suppose_a estate_n in_o which_o we_o be_v all_o by_o nature_n and_o that_o be_v a_o estate_n of_o death_n spiritual_a 2._o a_o peaceable_a recovery_n or_o mention_v of_o another_o state_n a_o estate_n of_o life_n 3._o a_o real_a transition_n from_o this_o state_n of_o death_n to_o life_n we_o be_v pass_v etc._n etc._n 4._o a_o inseparable_a property_n of_o all_o regenerate_v soul_n in_o the_o world_n they_o do_v not_o hate_v but_o love_v the_o brethren_n 5._o a_o comfortable_a conclusion_n that_o a_o christian_n may_v make_v from_o that_o property_n he_o may_v know_v he_o may_v be_v assure_v by_o this_o that_o he_o be_v pass_v from_o death_n to_o life_n because_o he_o love_v the_o brethren_n the_o observation_n thus_o a_o christian_a may_v know_v his_o real_a conversion_n and_o transition_n to_o eternal_a life_n by_o this_o character_n among_o the_o rest_n because_o he_o love_v the_o brethren_n this_o proposition_n be_v slip_v into_o these_o two_o particular_n 1._o that_o every_o believer_n may_v have_v a_o assurance_n of_o his_o transition_n from_o death_n to_o life_n 2._o that_o love_n to_o the_o brethren_n be_v one_o of_o the_o great_a eminent_a symptom_n of_o man_n
know_v in_o such_o a_o condition_n that_o though_o your_o condition_n be_v exceed_o bad_a yet_o better_o than_o many_o thousand_o they_o never_o have_v ordinance_n 2._o god_n be_v able_a in_o such_o the_o world_n choose_v and_o follow_v 1._o sincere_a christian_n have_v much_o more_o satisfaction_n in_o the_o judgement_n and_o practice_n of_o god_n his_o word_n saint_n than_o in_o the_o judgement_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o world_n he_o know_v their_o judgement_n to_o be_v deprave_v their_o choice_n and_o practice_n corrupt_v their_o end_n and_o conclusion_n worst_a of_o all_o therefore_o no_o wonder_n he_o make_v a_o better_a choice_n 2._o they_o have_v the_o best_a testimony_n in_o the_o world_n for_o their_o choice_n the_o spirit_n and_o son_n of_o god_n that_o this_o be_v their_o choice_n therefore_o no_o wonder_n etc._n etc._n but_o how_o do_v they_o choose_v god_n answer_v they_o choose_v god_n as_o the_o object_n of_o their_o soul_n love_v as_o the_o chief_a when_o once_o the_o heart_n of_o a_o believer_n be_v bring_v back_o to_o god_n no_o suffering_n or_o affliction_n be_v able_a to_o turn_v that_o heart_n from_o he_o quest_n when_o may_v a_o man_n heart_n be_v say_v not_o to_o be_v turn_v back_o notwithstanding_o all_o suffering_n and_o affliction_n answ_n 1._o when_o a_o man_n still_o retain_v the_o same_o esteem_n and_o estimate_n of_o god_n yet_o will_v i_o trust_v in_o he_o 4._o when_o we_o have_v the_o same_o resolution_n to_o cleave_v to_o god_n as_o ever_o if_o a_o god_n in_o israel_n as_o long_o as_o a_o god_n in_o israel_n it_o
