by_o a_o particular_a personal_a act_n of_o our_o own_o faith_n come_v to_o christ_n for_o life_n that_o we_o may_v be_v quicken_v by_o his_o spirit_n and_o make_v alive_a unto_o righteousness_n we_o must_v have_v life_n before_o we_o can_v live_v or_o put_v forth_o any_o vital_a operation_n we_o must_v be_v first_o quicken_v by_o christ_n the_o great_a quicken_a spirit_n before_o we_o can_v live_v to_o god_n or_o do_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v spiritual_o good_a it_o be_v faith_n that_o unite_v we_o to_o christ_n which_o be_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n to_o some_o for_o all_o man_n have_v not_o faith_n and_o till_o this_o faith_n come_v by_o hear_v the_o gospel_n we_o be_v dead_a in_o sin_n christ_n come_v not_o only_o as_o a_o lawgiver_n to_o prescribe_v rule_n of_o live_v to_o dead_a sinner_n but_o to_o create_v in_o we_o a_o principle_n of_o life_n to_o give_v we_o strength_n to_o perform_v what_o he_o require_v of_o we_o as_o new_a creature_n create_v in_o christ_n jesus_n unto_o good_a work_n all_o our_o own_o endeavour_n after_o holiness_n while_o we_o be_v out_o of_o christ_n will_v prove_v ineffectual_a we_o must_v be_v first_o engraft_v into_o the_o true_a olive-tree_n derive_v all_o our_o fruitfulness_n from_o the_o root_n that_o bear_v we_o else_o we_o shall_v quick_o wither_v away_o and_o come_v to_o nothing_o no_o acceptable_a service_n ever_o be_v or_o can_v be_v do_v by_o man_n till_o faith_n bring_v we_o to_o christ_n without_o who_o we_o can_v do_v nothing_o when_o faith_n come_v life_n come_v strength_n come_v a_o spiritual_a ability_n to_o more_o and_o more_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n let_v no_o man_n think_v to_o be_v make_v perfect_a in_o the_o flesh_n christ_n come_v not_o to_o reform_v corrupt_a nature_n but_o to_o destroy_v it_o
