be_v a_o overgreat_a cruelty_n in_o we_o when_o we_o see_v a_o poor_a man_n afflict_v and_o endeavour_v not_o too_o succour_v he_o but_o rather_o shrink_v away_o from_o he_o also_o let_v we_o mark_v that_o sometime_o the_o same_o be_v say_v even_o of_o thing_n in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n by_o occasion_n whereby_o we_o may_v gather_v a_o good_a lesson_n which_o be_v say_v here_o by_o job_n of_o his_o own_o wife_n he_o say_v she_o be_v not_o able_a to_o abide_v his_o breath_n though_o he_o pray_v she_o for_o the_o child_n sake_n of_o her_o own_o womb_n here_o he_o show_v that_o child_n ought_v to_o be_v a_o increasement_n of_o the_o love_n between_o man_n and_o wife_n for_o when_o god_n bliss_v a_o marriage_n with_o issue_n it_o ought_v to_o increase_v their_o mutual_a affection_n to_o live_v in_o great_a concord_n the_o very_a paynim_n know_v that_o well_o enough_o but_o it_o be_v ill_o perform_v of_o those_o that_o aught_o to_o see_v much_o clear_a and_o what_o a_o condemnation_n shall_v it_o be_v to_o the_o believer_n which_o boast_v themselves_o to_o have_v be_v instruct_v in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n if_o they_o know_v not_o that_o which_o nature_n show_v to_o the_o silly_a ignorant_a sort_n that_o be_v as_o good_a as_o blind_v then_o look_v upon_o the_o paynim_n who_o have_v acknowledge_v that_o child_n be_v as_o it_o be_v gauge_n to_o confirm_v better_o the_o love_n of_o man_n and_o wife_n and_o to_o hold_v they_o in_o peace_n and_o unity_n according_a hereunto_o job_n say_v that_o he_o entreat_v his_o wife_n for_o the_o child_n sake_n that_o he_o have_v beget_v of_o she_o but_o that_o move_v not_o she_o at_o al._n then_o show_v he_o how_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n against_o nature_n in_o which_o behalf_n his_o wife_n have_v show_v herself_o to_o be_v worse_o than_o a_o wild_a beast_n so_o let_v we_o mark_v that_o all_o such_o as_o can_v follow_v that_o order_n be_v here_o rebuke_v by_o the_o way_n as_o if_o the_o holy_a ghost_n have_v pronounce_v their_o condemnation_n in_o express_a term_n
goodness_n of_o thou_o towards_o we_o thus_o i_o say_v when_o we_o have_v know_v what_o favour_n god_n show_v to_o his_o faithful_a servant_n we_o ought_v to_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o confirm_v therein_o and_o also_o stir_v up_o to_o give_v he_o thanks_n for_o the_o same_o and_o because_o it_o can_v not_o be_v do_v unless_o we_o behold_v the_o destruction_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o himself_o with_o god_n and_o too_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o he_o say_v that_o the_o same_o shall_v turn_v to_o his_o prosperity_n and_o after_o that_o he_o add_v that_o be_v shall_v receive_v the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o place_v his_o word_n in_o his_o heart_n in_o say_v that_o job_n shall_v acquaint_v himself_o with_o god_n his_o meaning_n be_v that_o he_o have_v erst_o withdraw_v himself_o from_o he_o and_o in_o say_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v at_o peace_n with_o he_o he_o signify_v that_o by_o his_o wicked_a life_n he_o have_v declare_v himself_o as_o a_o enemy_n to_o god_n this_o be_v evil_o apply_v too_o his_o person_n as_o we_o have_v already_o see_v but_o yet_o the_o doctrine_n of_o itself_o be_v true_a and_o very_a profitable_a and_o how_o be_v that_o first_o of_o all_o it_o be_v here_o declare_v unto_o we_o that_o when_o man_n run_v astry_n it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o they_o estrange_v themselves_o from_o god_n therefore_o when_o we_o be_v give_v over_o to_o our_o vice_n we_o spite_v god_n and_o be_v a_o let_v unto_o he_o that_o he_o do_v not_o draw_v near_o unto_o we_o and_o it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o we_o shall_v take_v our_o leave_n of_o he_o or_o else_o run_v away_o from_o he_o without_o take_v any_o leave_n at_o all_o and_o in_o deed_n it_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n that_o the_o scripture_n say_v that_o man_n have_v not_o the_o fear_n of_o range_v ourselves_o in_o battle_n against_o god_n how_o so_o behold_v what_o a_o horrible_a thing_n it_o be_v that_o the_o creature_n shall_v lift_v up_o himself_o against_o he_o that_o have_v fashion_v he_o and_o what_o shall_v we_o get_v by_o it_o who_o shall_v have_v the_o victory_n we_o see_v well_o that_o we_o be_v worse_o than_o mad_a see_v that_o we_o cease_v not_o yet_o to_o run_v call_v we_o unto_o he_o by_o his_o word_n and_o when_o he_o see_v that_o we_o be_v go_v astray_o and_o out_o of_o the_o way_n he_o say_v come_v again_o come_v again_o god_n then_o cause_v his_o word_n to_o be_v preach_v unto_o we_o tend_v to_o no_o other_o end_n but_o to_o make_v we_o â—ame_n whereas_o we_o have_v be_v wild_a that_o be_v too_o say_v to_o be_v teach_v and_o to_o be_v lay_v hand_n on_o at_o the_o first_o when_o we_o have_v learn_v this_o lesson_n we_o shall_v have_v profit_v well_o for_o our_o whole_a life_n whereto_o tend_v the_o whole_a holy_a scripture_n but_o to_o make_v we_o famililiar_a with_o god_n true_a it_o be_v that_o our_o god_n for_o his_o part_n do_v show_v himself_o so_o familiar_a as_o that_o there_o can_v be_v nothing_o more_o he_o be_v as_o a_o nurse_n and_o as_o a_o mother_n he_o do_v not_o only_o compare_v himself_o to_o the_o father_n which_o be_v love_a and_o gentle_a to_o their_o child_n but_o he_o say_v also_o that_o he_o be_v more_o than_o a_o mother_n &_o more_o than_o a_o nurse_n see_v then_o that_o god_n use_v such_o familiarity_n with_o we_o let_v we_o be_v no_o more_o like_o wild_a beast_n and_o if_o we_o have_v be_v let_v we_o not_o continue_v so_o still_o and_o when_o we_o see_v that_o we_o have_v be_v so_o froward_a and_o so_o mad_a as_o to_o move_v war_n against_o he_o by_o our_o sin_n let_v we_o seek_v mean_n to_o be_v at_o peace_n with_o he_o and_o how_o shall_v that_o be_v it_o lie_v not_o in_o we_o to_o do_v it_o but_o he_o must_v prevent_v we_o by_o his_o infinite_a goodness_n which_o thing_n he_o do_v when_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v which_o be_v name_v the_o doctrine_n of_o peace_n and_o as_o s._n paul_n speak_v of_o it_o it_o be_v the_o message_n of_o reconciliation_n see_v then_o that_o god_n call_v we_o to_o he_o of_o his_o own_o good_a will_n &_o prevent_v we_o nor_o tarry_v till_o we_o come_v to_o seek_v peace_n with_o he_o but_o come_v before_o we_o &_o seek_v nothing_o else_o but_o to_o be_v reconcile_v with_o we_o let_v we_o not_o be_v so_o ungracious_a as_o to_o reject_v he_o through_o our_o unkindness_n &_o to_o make_v no_o accept_v of_o the_o benefit_n which_o he_o offer_v unto_o we_o but_o let_v we_o with_o true_a humility_n yield_v ourselves_o subject_a unto_o he_o know_v that_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o receive_v we_o in_o the_o name_n of_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n &_o will_v cause_v we_o to_o feel_v that_o he_o will_v be_v a_o gentle_a &_o pitiful_a father_n unto_o we_o if_o we_o be_v true_a child_n to_o he_o now_o let_v we_o fall_v down_o before_o the_o face_n of_o our_o good_a god_n with_o acknowledgement_n of_o our_o fault_n know_v that_o if_o he_o will_v deal_v rigorous_o with_o we_o we_o shall_v be_v a_o hundred_o time_n swallow_v up_o &_o also_o that_o we_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v maintain_v in_o this_o mortal_a life_n &_o therefore_o much_o less_o worthy_a of_o the_o heavenly_a inheritance_n &_o infinite_a glory_n which_o he_o have_v prepare_v for_o we_o in_o heaven_n so_o then_o acknowledge_v our_o sin_n and_o unbelief_n whereunto_o we_o be_v so_o much_o incline_v let_v we_o pray_v he_o that_o of_o his_o mercy_n it_o will_v
