christ_n will_v have_v all_o his_o disciple_n to_o do_v something_o more_o than_o the_o world_n do_v and_o he_o be_v a_o monster_n among_o man_n that_o will_v not_o do_v good_a when_o he_o can_v when_o good_a be_v do_v unto_o he_o but_o christ_n he_o will_v have_v his_o disciple_n his_o people_n do_v some_o singular_a good_a thing_n for_o he_o the_o lord_n have_v order_v it_o that_o they_o shall_v meet_v with_o wrong_n and_o injury_n more_o than_o any_o people_n in_o the_o world_n for_o the_o trial_n of_o their_o grace_n offence_n must_v come_v there_o be_v need_n of_o they_o great_a necessity_n there_o shall_v be_v offence_n in_o this_o sense_n that_o wrong_n and_o injury_n shall_v be_v do_v that_o the_o lord_n by_o this_o may_v try_v and_o exercise_v the_o grace_n of_o his_o people_n there_o will_v be_v else_o no_o room_n for_o the_o trial_n and_o exercise_n or_o at_o least_o not_o so_o much_o for_o the_o trial_n and_o exercise_n of_o love_n meekness_n patience_n forbearance_n long-suffering_a forgive_a and_o forbear_v one_o another_o if_o there_o be_v not_o wrong_n and_o injury_n there_o will_v be_v no_o room_n for_o the_o exercise_n of_o these_o grace_n christ_n will_v have_v his_o people_n put_v upon_o it_o to_o do_v some_o singular_a thing_n as_o many_o a_o man_n or_o woman_n will_v say_v well_o let_v i_o alone_o as_o i_o be_o and_o i_o be_o as_o quiet_a as_o any_o man_n live_v do_v not_o disturb_v i_o or_o do_v not_o wrong_v i_o and_o you_o shall_v live_v as_o peaceable_o and_o as_o quiet_a as_o any_o people_n in_o the_o world_n ay_o here_o be_v good_a neighbourhood_n but_o this_o savour_v not_o of_o grace_n christ_n will_v teach_v his_o people_n to_o do_v something_o singular_a the_o world_n say_v you_o shall_v have_v blow_n for_o blow_n and_o wrong_v for_o wrong_n and_o injury_n for_o injury_n but_o let_v they_o alone_o and_o you_o shall_v be_v quiet_a here_o be_v no_o more_o than_o the_o wild_a beast_n in_o the_o wilderness_n will_v here_o do_v be_v no_o trial_n of_o grace_n where_o be_v your_o love_n your_o meekness_n your_o patience_n your_o long-suffering_a the_o lord_n will_v have_v his_o people_n in_o the_o exercise_n of_o grace_n to_o do_v something_o more_o than_o the_o world_n object_n but_o you_o will_v say_v may_v not_o a_o natural_a man_n do_v this_o that_o have_v mere_a nature_n quiet_a nature_n pass_v by_o wrong_n and_o injury_n and_o not_o render_v revile_v for_o revile_v and_o wrong_a for_o wrong_v answ_n i_o answer_v yes_o there_o be_v many_o a_o man_n will_v go_v a_o great_a way_n in_o this_o that_o have_v but_o good_a nature_n but_o oh_o what_o a_o shame_n be_v this_o to_o they_o that_o profess_v to_o have_v more_o than_o nature_n will_v not_o this_o be_v a_o shame_n and_o condemnation_n to_o those_o that_o profess_v more_o than_o good_a nature_n that_o they_o who_o have_v but_o good_a nature_n may_v exceed_v they_o and_o true_o that_o we_o may_v be_v ashamed_a of_o our_o neglect_n and_o provoke_v unto_o our_o duty_n i_o shall_v give_v you_o but_o two_o or_o three_o instance_n of_o what_o man_n have_v do_v by_o good_a nature_n and_o oh_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v fasten_v something_o upon_o we_o either_o by_o what_o good_a man_n or_o bad_a man_n have_v do_v among_o the_o heathen_a writer_n it_o be_v write_v of_o that_o sect_n of_o philosopher_n that_o be_v call_v pythagoras_n his_o scholar_n there_o be_v this_o rule_n among_o they_o that_o when_o any_o offence_n be_v give_v by_o one_o to_o the_o other_o the_o party_n offend_v and_o offend_v shall_v agree_v together_o and_o make_v up_o the_o breach_n before_o the_o sun_n set_v whatever_o the_o injury_n and_o wrong_n be_v and_o now_o we_o let_v many_o a_o sun_n set_v and_o not_o shake_v hand_n and_o close_a heart_n there_o be_v another_o instance_n among_o the_o heathen_n which_o be_v very_o remarkable_a of_o a_o governor_n and_o a_o excellent_a governor_n upon_o a_o time_n there_o be_v one_o of_o the_o chief_a ringleader_n that_o strike_v at_o this_o governor_n and_o strike_v out_o his_o eye_n and_o he_o though_o but_o a_o heathen_a be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v revenge_v of_o he_o as_o he_o take_v this_o a_o advantage_n and_o get_v away_o the_o birthright_n and_o steal_v the_o blessing_n from_o he_o and_o although_o his_o offence_n be_v very_o great_a and_o do_v stir_v up_o his_o passion_n against_o his_o brother_n insomuch_o as_o jacob_n be_v force_v to_o flee_v from_o his_o presence_n yet_o afterward_o how_o free_o do_v esau_n put_v up_o all_o the_o wrong_n and_o injury_n do_v unto_o he_o and_o quest_n first_o of_o all_o how_o come_v it_o to_o pass_v that_o mere_a natural_a man_n may_v go_v so_o far_o as_o to_o outstrip_v many_o christian_n in_o this_o particular_a in_o the_o pass_n by_o of_o wrong_n and_o injury_n answ_n i_o answer_v first_o of_o all_o there_o be_v some_o natural_a man_n walk_v up_o to_o their_o principle_n though_o there_o be_v no_o natural_a man_n in_o all_o thing_n walk_v up_o to_o their_o light_n yet_o there_o be_v some_o natural_a man_n walk_v up_o to_o their_o principle_n and_o it_o be_v true_a a_o christian_n have_v a_o more_o excellent_a principle_n than_o the_o natural_a man_n which_o will_v carry_v he_o out_o if_o well_o improve_v far_o beyond_o all_o the_o act_n of_o natural_a man_n ay_o but_o when_o a_o christian_a do_v not_o improve_v his_o principle_n when_o he_o do_v not_o walk_v up_o according_a to_o what_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v he_o and_o the_o natural_a man_n do_v improve_v his_o principle_n and_o walk_v up_o unto_o it_o the_o very_o sad_a and_o a_o woe_n unto_o that_o man_n that_o shall_v be_v so_o offend_v woe_n to_o he_o that_o shall_v be_v offend_v at_o christ_n for_o the_o miscarriage_n of_o man_n woe_n to_o he_o that_o shall_v be_v offend_v at_o the_o truth_n or_o any_o of_o the_o way_n of_o truth_n from_o the_o miscarriage_n of_o man_n but_o yet_o know_v thou_o that_o have_v do_v the_o wrong_n and_o be_v do_v to_o other_o unto_o such_o a_o man_n or_o such_o a_o woman_n it_o will_v cry_v very_o loud_o before_o the_o lord_n and_o woe_n be_v unto_o thou_o if_o god_n shall_v step_v in_o and_o engage_v against_o thou_o if_o god_n be_v for_o a_o man_n who_o can_v be_v against_o he_o if_o god_n be_v for_o he_o better_o to_o have_v all_o the_o world_n engage_v against_o he_o than_o god_n to_o engage_v the_o good_a man_n return_v again_o to_o his_o brother_n and_o oh_o how_o submissive_a be_v he_o unto_o his_o brother_n he_o send_v many_o a_o present_a before_o he_o to_o appease_v his_o wrath_n and_o how_o many_o soft_a word_n do_v he_o give_v he_o in_o gen._n 3._o 3._o 5_o 8._o this_o be_v to_o find_v favour_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o my_o lord_n and_o these_o be_v the_o child_n which_o the_o lord_n have_v gracious_o give_v thy_o servant_n and_o how_o many_o soft_a word_n do_v he_o give_v unto_o his_o brother_n esau_n by_o which_o the_o wrath_n of_o esau_n be_v appease_v and_o so_o duty_n to_o man_n and_o instead_o of_o leave_v his_o gift_n he_o carry_v away_o his_o gift_n go_v and_o be_v reconcile_v to_o thy_o brother_n and_o then_o come_v again_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v you_o do_v it_o and_o have_v it_o do_v instant_o go_v and_o do_v it_o speedy_o do_v it_o quick_o before_o the_o time_n of_o offering_n be_v past_a the_o lord_n will_v not_o receive_v gift_n and_o offering_n from_o that_o hand_n or_o from_o that_o tongue_n that_o have_v do_v wrong_a unto_o his_o brother_n until_o such_o time_n as_o there_o be_v a_o acknowledgement_n till_o such_o time_n as_o there_o be_v a_o reconciliation_n so_o much_o for_o that_o duty_n which_o concern_v those_o that_o have_v do_v wrong_a unto_o other_o you_o see_v what_o necessity_n do_v lie_v upon_o they_o that_o you_o have_v a_o opportunity_n of_o do_v some_o singular_a thing_n for_o christ_n and_o therefore_o take_v heed_n you_o do_v not_o lose_v the_o opportunity_n but_o you_o will_v say_v here_o will_v be_v some_o objection_n for_o a_o great_a deal_n will_v be_v object_v by_o corrupt_a nature_n but_o i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o take_v they_o off_o all_o object_n 1._o but_o you_o will_v say_v he_o not_o submit_v unto_o it_o answ_n 1._o to_o which_o i_o say_v though_o flesh_n and_o blood_n will_v not_o submit_v unto_o it_o

seal_v up_o forgiveness_n before_o confession_n or_o a_o acknowledgement_n this_o show_v that_o the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o matter_n of_o forgiveness_n be_v far_o above_o man_n the_o lord_n forgive_v enemy_n and_o the_o lord_n forgive_v free_o but_o 3._o three_o the_o lord_n way_n be_v above_o we_o it_o appear_v in_o that_o the_o lord_n forgive_v full_o he_o do_v not_o only_o forgive_v free_o those_o who_o he_o do_v forgive_v but_o the_o lord_n forgive_v poor_a sinner_n full_o i_o shall_v make_v it_o out_o in_o these_o particular_n as_o 1._o first_o the_o lord_n he_o do_v forgive_v man_n bring_v off_o to_o this_o work_n 2._o second_o nay_o again_o the_o fullness_n of_o god_n forgive_a mercy_n it_o appear_v in_o this_o he_o do_v not_o only_o forgive_v all_o the_o offence_n once_o your_o friend_n but_o you_o will_v never_o trust_v he_o with_o your_o secret_n again_o you_o will_v have_v a_o eye_n upon_o he_o and_o watch_v over_o he_o as_o long_o as_o ever_o he_o live_v oh_o how_o far_o short_a be_v we_o in_o our_o forgiveness_n of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o god_n but_o again_o the_o lord_n he_o do_v not_o only_o forgive_v free_o and_o full_o but_o he_o forgive_v the_o same_o god_n the_o same_o inheritance_n this_o be_v a_o great_a engagement_n to_o pass_v by_o and_o to_o forgive_v wrong_n whilst_o he_o be_v a_o brother_n the_o lord_n when_o he_o forgive_v he_o forgive_v inferior_n there_o be_v a_o infinite_a distance_n between_o god_n and_o the_o creature_n when_o the_o lord_n forgive_v a_o poor_a creature_n there_o be_v a_o infinite_a distance_n betwixt_o god_n and_o man_n but_o not_o betwixt_o man_n and_o man_n and_o therefore_o upon_o this_o account_n christ_n require_v it_o but_o then_o 3._o reas_n three_o another_o ground_n be_v this_o such_o a_o one_o as_o be_v of_o a_o implacable_a spirit_n to_o retain_v wrong_n and_o injury_n as_o it_o be_v with_o that_o servant_n that_o will_v not_o forgive_v his_o fellow-servant_n the_o lord_n command_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v deliver_v up_o unto_o the_o tormentor_n and_o cast_v into_o prison_n until_o he_o have_v pay_v the_o uttermost_a farthing_n why_o a_o man_n though_o he_o have_v pass_v by_o so_o many_o wrong_n and_o such_o open_a wrong_n and_o injury_n answ_n 1._o i_o answer_v thou_o say_v thou_o shall_v be_v count_v a_o child_n when_o christ_n say_v thou_o must_v be_v fool_n think_v of_o it_o be_v it_o not_o better_a to_o be_v account_v a_o fool_n than_o to_o become_v a_o fool_n when_o anger_n lodge_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o fool_n object_n 4._o ay_o but_o it_o be_v further_o object_v some_o will_v say_v i_o never_o do_v he_o wrong_v in_o my_o life_n he_o have_v abuse_v i_o so_o and_o so_o and_o i_o never_o do_v he_o the_o least_o wrong_n in_o all_o my_o day_n here_o be_v a_o hard_a task_n well_o in_o answer_n to_o this_o answ_n 1._o first_o of_o all_o the_o lord_n may_v say_v the_o same_o of_o thou_o if_o thou_o be_v one_o that_o the_o lord_n have_v forgive_v the_o lord_n may_v say_v oh_o i_o have_v do_v such_o a_o man_n good_a so_o and_o so_o and_o he_o have_v rebel_v and_o sin_v so_o against_o i_o i_o say_v may_v not_o the_o lord_n urge_v this_o against_o every_o one_o of_o we_o i_o have_v do_v this_o and_o that_o for_o he_o and_o i_o have_v never_o do_v he_o wrong_n yet_o he_o have_v do_v thus_o to_o i_o notwithstanding_o which_o the_o lord_n forgive_v those_o transgression_n and_o let_v i_o say_v answ_n 2._o further_o that_o this_o will_v be_v more_o praiseworthy_a and_o more_o acceptable_a
strength_n for_o god_n and_o to_o lay_v forth_o his_o estate_n for_o god_n and_o he_o say_v as_o christ_n say_v loe_o i_o come_v here_o be_v a_o opportunity_n for_o service_n why_o then_o loe_o i_o people_n be_v another_o part_n of_o their_o walk_n with_o he_o again_o 6._o six_o in_o the_o next_o place_n that_o soul_n walk_v with_o god_n when_o it_o set_v itself_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o god_n when_o it_o eye_v god_n continual_o and_o set_v itself_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o god_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n this_o be_v a_o main_a part_n of_o his_o walk_n with_o god_n when_o a_o man_n shall_v do_v all_o that_o he_o do_v as_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n every_o action_n that_o though_o it_o concern_v man_n and_o his_o outward_a call_n yet_o he_o desire_v to_o do_v all_o as_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o he_o do_v not_o only_o look_v to_o a_o duty_n but_o he_o look_v to_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o performance_n of_o every_o duty_n because_o the_o holy_a pure_a and_o pierce_a eye_n of_o god_n be_v upon_o he_o he_o look_v to_o the_o manner_n how_o it_o be_v carry_v on_o and_o forth_o what_o spirit_n be_v in_o it_o because_o he_o know_v that_o the_o eye_n of_o god_n be_v pierce_v it_o be_v a_o flame_n of_o fire_n and_o he_o do_v all_o as_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o unto_o god_n in_o his_o serve_v of_o man_n he_o do_v it_o as_o unto_o the_o lord_n he_o have_v a_o high_a end_n than_o the_o man_n in_o the_o world_n have_v who_o know_v no_o other_o end_n than_o to_o gain_v riches_n and_o honour_n or_o the_o like_a but_o there_o be_v a_o further_a and_o high_a end_n that_o he_o may_v lift_v up_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o serve_v god_n in_o serve_v of_o man_n that_o he_o may_v serve_v his_o generation_n according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n i_o say_v when_o the_o soul_n be_v thus_o always_o under_o the_o eye_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o be_v faithful_a whether_o man_n see_v or_o no_o though_o there_o be_v no_o eye_n to_o witness_v no_o eye_n to_o overlook_a yet_o it_o know_v that_o it_o be_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n for_o though_o he_o do_v so_o see_v the_o transgression_n of_o his_o people_n as_o to_o cast_v they_o off_o yet_o he_o may_v see_v that_o which_o may_v be_v matter_n of_o sore_a displeasure_n and_o grief_n and_o therefore_o this_o be_v that_o which_o be_v as_o a_o bridle_n and_o a_o bit_n over_o all_o his_o way_n that_o it_o be_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n again_o 7._o seven_o in_o the_o next_o place_n the_o soul_n walk_v with_o god_n when_o he_o be_v desirous_a to_o embrace_v every_o truth_n that_o god_n shall_v impart_v when_o it_o open_v to_o truth_n this_o be_v another_o part_n of_o the_o soul_n internal_a walk_v with_o god_n when_o it_o open_v to_o truth_n to_o every_o truth_n which_o the_o embrace_a and_o profess_v of_o may_v cost_v he_o dear_a be_v oppose_v in_o the_o world_n it_o matter_n not_o if_o you_o be_v persuade_v it_o be_v the_o truth_n of_o christ_n it_o be_v enough_o it_o trust_v god_n for_o the_o rest_n oh_o it_o be_v greedy_a after_o truth_n that_o soul_n that_o walk_v with_o god_n oh_o how_o fearful_a be_v it_o lest_o it_o shall_v not_o embrace_v truth_n oh_o how_o fearful_a be_v it_o lest_o it_o shall_v be_v leave_v behind_o when_o god_n advance_v his_o truth_n in_o the_o world_n and_o when_o truth_n be_v advance_v oh_o how_o fearful_a be_v it_o to_o be_v leave_v behind_o though_o it_o will_v not_o set_v a_o step_n until_o god_n go_v before_o and_o it_o will_v not_o hear_v the_o voice_n of_o a_o stranger_n yet_o it_o will_v not_o be_v shut_v up_o from_o the_o voice_n of_o christ_n therefore_o it_o be_v fear_n be_v to_o be_v leave_v behind_o and_o desire_n that_o god_n will_v take_v it_o along_o when_o he_o discover_v truth_n unto_o a_o saint_n even_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o age_n and_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o generation_n in_o which_o he_o live_v that_o be_v another_o part_n of_o the_o soul_n walk_v with_o god_n again_o 8._o in_o the_o eight_o place_n the_o soul_n walk_v with_o god_n when_o it_o can_v justify_v the_o word_n of_o god_n justify_v the_o word_n of_o god_n though_o the_o word_n condemn_v he_o in_o his_o practice_n yet_o he_o will_v justify_v the_o word_n of_o god_n though_o the_o word_n be_v high_a holy_a and_o spiritual_a and_o he_o see_v he_o be_v a_o poor_a creature_n and_o can_v come_v up_o to_o it_o yet_o he_o will_v despise_v nor_o hate_v the_o word_n but_o love_n justify_v and_o bless_v god_n for_o it_o so_o the_o apostle_n in_o rom._n 7._o 12._o wherefore_o the_o law_n be_v holy_a say_v he_o and_o the_o commandment_n be_v holy_a just_a and_o good_a again_o in_o the_o 13_o verse_n be_v then_o that_o which_o be_v good_a make_v death_n to_o i_o god_n forbid_v but_o sin_n that_o it_o may_v appear_v sin_n work_v death_n in_o i_o by_o that_o which_o be_v good_a that_o sin_n by_o the_o commandment_n may_v become_v exceed_o sinful_a and_o again_o in_o bless_v the_o word_n that_o be_v holy_a and_o good_a though_o i_o be_v carnal_a though_o i_o be_v sell_v under_o sin_n it_o justify_v the_o word_n 9_o again_o in_o the_o nine_o place_n he_o will_v justify_v god_n that_o be_v another_o part_n of_o his_o walk_n he_o will_v justify_v god_n and_o clear_a god_n in_o all_o his_o proceed_n though_o god_n go_v against_o his_o comfort_n and_o smite_v they_o as_o he_o do_v job_n yet_o still_o he_o will_v walk_v and_o go_v along_o with_o god_n and_o clear_a and_o justify_v god_n in_o all_o this_o job_n sin_v not_o nor_o charge_v god_n foolish_o the_o lord_n give_v and_o the_o lord_n take_v and_o bless_v be_v his_o name_n still_o he_o will_v justify_v god_n though_o he_o can_v see_v a_o reason_n of_o god_n proceed_n yet_o still_o he_o will_v justify_v god_n though_o he_o do_v he_o wrong_v yet_o god_n be_v holy_a righteous_a and_o merciful_a and_o this_o be_v another_o part_n of_o the_o soul_n internal_a walk_v with_o god_n again_o 10._o in_o the_o ten_o and_o last_o place_n to_o name_v no_o more_o the_o soul_n than_o walk_v with_o god_n when_o it_o be_v take_v up_o with_o high_a thing_n than_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n it_o desire_v to_o look_v up_o to_o high_a thing_n than_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n and_o great_a thing_n than_o the_o world_n be_v able_a to_o present_v and_o therefore_o will_v not_o have_v the_o world_n for_o its_o portion_n at_o no_o rate_n he_o can_v take_v up_o there_o no_o he_o have_v high_a thing_n to_o fix_v his_o heart_n upon_o the_o worldling_n spend_v their_o time_n and_o meditation_n upon_o their_o silver_n and_o gold_n upon_o their_o house_n and_o land_n but_o a_o gracious_a heart_n will_v not_o spend_v many_o of_o his_o thought_n upon_o these_o it_o will_v not_o spend_v the_o best_a of_o his_o thought_n upon_o these_o but_o say_v to_o his_o soul_n as_o solomon_n mother_n say_v to_o he_o prov._n 31._o 2._o oh_o my_o son_n give_v not_o thy_o strength_n to_o woman_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o say_v he_o oh_o my_o soul_n give_v not_o thy_o strength_n to_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n give_v not_o the_o strength_n of_o thy_o heart_n and_o affection_n to_o these_o poor_a low_a thing_n thou_o have_v better_a thing_n to_o spend_v thy_o strength_n upon_o there_o be_v god_n and_o christ_n there_o be_v a_o kingdom_n there_o be_v the_o pearl_n of_o great_a price_n there_o be_v a_o inheritance_n there_o be_v a_o eternity_n there_o be_v a_o everlasting_a enjoyment_n of_o god_n these_o thing_n be_v thou_o to_o be_v take_v up_o with_o these_o thing_n do_v he_o desire_v to_o spend_v the_o best_a of_o his_o strength_n and_o thought_n upon_o you_o see_v my_o brethren_n in_o part_n what_o it_o be_v to_o walk_v with_o god_n this_o be_v the_o
be_v accept_v of_o god_n in_o that_o condition_n it_o be_v not_o the_o work_n and_o employment_n that_o god_n look_v at_o but_o the_o faithfulness_n the_o faithful_a carriage_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o spirit_n and_o the_o work_n though_o it_o be_v never_o so_o mean_a and_o never_o such_o drudgery_n if_o do_v to_o the_o lord_n in_o faithfulness_n god_n accept_v of_o it_o and_o thus_o he_o be_v christ_n freeborn_a of_o the_o freewoman_n free_a in_o the_o inward_a man_n and_o do_v more_o willing_o and_o content_o submit_v himself_o unto_o the_o condition_n of_o a_o servant_n if_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v to_o place_v he_o in_o it_o 2._o second_o again_o as_o he_o be_v a_o servant_n he_o yield_v all_o due_a honour_n respect_n and_o obedience_n unto_o his_o master_n or_o to_o such_o as_o god_n have_v set_v over_o he_o he_o yield_v obedience_n in_o all_o thing_n in_o the_o lord_n he_o be_v also_o careful_a of_o the_o good_a name_n and_o estate_n of_o his_o master_n whatsoever_o he_o be_v instruct_v in_o or_o trust_v with_o as_o joseph_n and_o jacob_n be_v he_o be_v careful_a of_o all_o the_o estate_n that_o his_o master_n put_v into_o his_o hand_n he_o will_v not_o wrong_v his_o which_o be_v put_v into_o his_o hand_n 3._o three_o again_o he_o submit_v unto_o all_o reproof_n and_o correction_n of_o his_o master_n he_o will_v answer_v murmur_n repine_v nor_o turn_v again_o when_o he_o be_v smite_v but_o submit_v unto_o his_o master_n he_o look_v upon_o he_o as_o one_o that_o god_n have_v set_v over_o he_o in_o the_o lord_n yea_o though_o he_o meet_v with_o much_o pray_v for_o they_o and_o above_o all_o he_o labour_v to_o give_v they_o good_a example_n in_o the_o family_n for_o he_o know_v all_o the_o rest_n be_v nothing_o his_o instruction_n will_v do_v no_o good_a his_o counsel_n be_v of_o no_o efficacy_n if_o his_o example_n do_v go_v along_o with_o they_o and_o so_o servant_n may_v see_v his_o gracious_a behaviour_n and_o carriage_n which_o will_v be_v exceed_o convince_a unto_o they_o 2._o second_o again_o he_o also_o take_v care_n of_o their_o outward_a man_n he_o remember_v it_o be_v write_v that_o he_o that_o provide_v not_o for_o his_o family_n be_v worse_a than_o a_o infidel_n and_o therefore_o he_o endeavour_v to_o provide_v food_n and_o raiment_n for_o they_o lest_o he_o shall_v put_v they_o upon_o temptation_n and_o provoke_v they_o to_o sin_n and_o put_v they_o upon_o temptation_n to_o lie_v and_o steal_v and_o be_v extravagant_a and_o this_o be_v occasion_v many_o time_n through_o the_o unfaithfulness_n of_o the_o master_n in_o this_o particular_a he_o be_v careful_a not_o to_o express_v cruelty_n one_o that_o walk_v with_o god_n will_v be_v cruel_a to_o his_o servant_n in_o lay_v too_o much_o upon_o he_o he_o know_v the_o groan_n of_o his_o servant_n in_o this_o case_n will_v reach_v up_o to_o heaven_n the_o israelite_n be_v servant_n to_o the_o egyptian_n and_o you_o know_v when_o they_o lay_v heavy_a burden_n upon_o they_o than_o their_o cry_n be_v hear_v and_o reach_v up_o to_o heaven_n and_o it_o be_v the_o destruction_n of_o the_o egyptian_n a_o good_a master_n will_v be_v cruel_a in_o his_o work_n 3._o three_o neither_o will_v he_o be_v cruel_a in_o his_o correction_n if_o he_o do_v correct_v he_o will_v do_v it_o in_o measure_n he_o know_v he_o be_v call_v the_o father_n of_o the_o family_n
