they_o have_v 40000_o man_n in_o arm_n against_o the_o king_n and_o we_o know_v the_o trouble_n that_o be_v in_o that_o king_n reign_n and_o how_o at_o length_n he_o be_v depose_v but_o certain_o there_o may_v be_v find_v instance_n more_o applicable_a to_o the_o case_n than_o those_o they_o produce_v as_o for_o those_o in_o king_n charles_n the_o second_o time_n do_v they_o any_o way_n justify_v this_o petition_n for_o now_o they_o be_v upon_o justify_v the_o word_n of_o their_o petition_n that_o this_o power_n have_v be_v declare_v to_o be_v illegal_a in_o 1662._o 1672_o and_o and_o a_o man_n must_v not_o be_v his_o own_o judge_n nor_o his_o own_o carver_n nor_o must_v every_o man_n create_v difficulty_n of_o his_o own_o nor_o set_v upon_o petition_v in_o this_o sort_n but_o there_o i_o lay_v my_o foundation_n that_o in_o such_o a_o matter_n as_o this_o there_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v the_o impeachment_n of_o the_o commons_o in_o parliament_n before_o these_o continue_v thus_o and_o be_v practise_v so_o till_o the_o 3._o hen._n 7._o where_o the_o grievance_n be_v find_v that_o offence_n in_o the_o interval_n of_o parliament_n can_v not_o be_v well_o punish_v and_o then_o come_v the_o statute_n that_o set_v up_o the_o court_n of_o star-chamber_n and_o there_o man_n be_v often_o bring_v to_o judgement_n and_o punishment_n for_o their_o sin_n and_o though_o very_o great_a power_n be_v give_v they_o yet_o they_o arrogate_a to_o themselves_o a_o great_a and_o therefore_o that_o court_n be_v abolish_v by_o the_o statute_n of_o the_o 15_o car._n 1._o and_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n of_o abolish_n that_o statute_n because_o the_o star-chamber_n do_v not_o keep_v within_o their_o bound_n that_o the_o law_n set_v they_o but_o assume_v to_o the_o sin_n and_o misdemeanour_n that_o be_v punish_v there_o may_v be_v punish_v in_o a_o ordinary_a way_n of_o law_n in_o another_o court_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o that_o court_n and_o so_o it_o be_v abolish_v and_o the_o subject_n be_v pretty_a safe_a if_o there_o be_v a_o crime_n commit_v here_o a_o man_n may_v come_v proper_o before_o your_o lordship_n into_o this_o court_n and_o have_v it_o punish_v my_o lord_n they_o find_v fault_n with_o the_o word_n in_o the_o information_n and_o they_o say_v why_o be_v these_o word_n put_v in_o seditious_a malicious_a if_o the_o matter_n be_v libellous_a and_o seditious_a we_o may_v lawful_o say_v it_o and_o it_o be_v no_o more_o than_o the_o law_n speak_v it_o result_v out_o of_o the_o matter_n itself_o and_o if_o it_o be_v a_o libellous_a paper_n the_o law_n say_v it_o be_v malicious_o and_o seditious_o do_v and_o these_o gentleman_n need_v not_o quarrel_n with_o we_o for_o so_o be_v all_o the_o information_n in_o all_o time_n past_a and_o it_o be_v no_o more_o than_o the_o vi_o &_o armis_fw-la which_o be_v common_a form._n it_o may_v be_v say_v how_o can_v the_o publish_n of_o a_o libel_n be_v say_v to_o be_v do_v vi_o &_o armis_fw-la that_o be_v only_o a_o supposition_n of_o law_n and_o they_o may_v as_o well_o object_n to_o the_o conclusion_n of_o the_o information_n that_o it_o be_v contra_fw-la
