eye_n full_a of_o tear_n and_o they_o think_v it_o unwarrantable_a and_o unlawful_a and_o therefore_o they_o grow_v careless_a of_o sin_n and_o fearless_o when_o they_o have_v commit_v sin_n have_v christ_n undertake_v for_o sin_n say_v they_o then_o why_o shall_v a_o believer_n take_v sin_n to_o himself_o this_o be_v the_o curse_a opinion_n of_o the_o familist_n there_o be_v a_o unspeakable_a and_o a_o unmeasurable_a measure_n of_o comfort_n in_o this_o doctrine_n for_o all_o the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o the_o other_o suck_n as_o much_o poison_n from_o it_o i_o have_v bear_v a_o lay_v open_o two_o thing_n quest._n 1_o first_o how_o far_o a_o sinner_n may_v and_o aught_o to_o charge_v himself_o with_o his_o sin_n and_o how_o far_o hoe_v may_v go_v quest._n 2_o second_o how_o far_o a_o sinner_n shall_v not_o lay_v his_o sin_n upon_o himself_o nor_o charge_v his_o folly_n upon_o himself_o and_o this_o will_v touch_v and_o discover_v the_o bound_n and_o limit_n of_o the_o be_v bind_v to_o consider_v of_o they_o and_o to_o judge_v of_o these_o his_o sin_n and_o every_o of_o they_o know_v that_o even_o the_o least_o of_o they_o be_v sufficient_a to_o make_v he_o guilty_a and_o also_o to_o condemn_v he_o shall_v not_o the_o lord_n by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o grace_n prevent_v it_o every_o sin_n in_o his_o own_o nature_n and_o power_n do_v and_o will_v procure_v guilt_n and_o condemnation_n to_o the_o soul_n by_o the_o sin_n commit_v unless_o the_o lord_n in_o mercy_n do_v prevent_v it_o and_o christ_n by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o merit_n stop_v the_o sin_n to_o take_v away_o a_o man_n comfort_n and_o happiness_n unless_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v to_o hinder_v the_o condemn_a power_n of_o they_o that_o they_o can_v hurt_v we_o therefore_o the_o sum_n of_o all_o be_v this_o as_o every_o believer_n must_v examine_v his_o own_o heart_n and_o life_n so_o he_o must_v judge_v the_o nature_n of_o sin_n and_o judge_v himself_o worthy_a to_o be_v condemn_v 1_o cor._n 11.31_o if_o we_o will_v judge_v ourselves_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v judge_v that_o be_v if_o we_o condemn_v ourselves_o and_o judge_v ourselves_o worthy_a to_o be_v condemn_v decree_n and_o purpose_n of_o god_n before_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n and_o they_o be_v confine_v within_o the_o high_a council_n table_n of_o heaven_n father_n son_n and_o holy_a ghost_n and_o these_o never_o appear_v to_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o world_n second_o there_o be_v action_n also_o which_o pass_v from_o god_n upon_o the_o creature_n and_o do_v work_v a_o change_n and_o a_o whereby_o the_o soul_n shall_v close_v with_o god_n that_o howsoever_o god_n go_v away_o yet_o the_o soul_n shall_v follow_v he_o as_o jacob_n do_v after_o the_o lord_n when_o he_o say_v i_o will_v not_o let_v thou_o go_v unless_o thou_o bless_v i_o now_o it_o be_v one_o thing_n when_o god_n go_v away_o and_o it_o be_v another_o thing_n when_o we_o push_v he_o away_o therefore_o that_o want_n of_o grace_n and_o holiness_n and_o confidence_n whereby_o the_o soul_n shall_v cleave_v to_o and_o close_o with_o god_n this_o be_v one_o thing_n which_o cause_v the_o separation_n of_o god_n from_o job_n do_v that_o will_v trust_v in_o he_o though_o he_o kill_v he_o yet_o god_n may_v withdraw_v the_o sweet_a refresh_a operation_n and_o the_o sensible_a conveyance_n of_o his_o mercy_n and_o compassion_n from_o his_o soul_n and_o he_o frown_n upon_o he_o and_o pluck_v away_o the_o hold_n and_o let_v in_o his_o indignation_n upon_o he_o the_o first_o of_o these_o two_o can_v never_o be_v without_o sin_n and_o it_o be_v a_o heinous_a sin_n when_o our_o soul_n sit_v loose_a from_o god_n and_o when_o we_o shall_v separate_v ourselves_o from_o the_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o be_v weary_a of_o god_n presence_n in_o his_o ordinance_n as_o many_o wicked_a man_n be_v and_o be_v weary_a of_o the_o promise_n and_o say_v as_o those_o in_o job_n do_v depart_v from_o we_o for_o we_o desire_v not_o the_o knowledge_n of_o thy_o way_n this_o be_v a_o curse_a sin_n and_o this_o never_o be_v nor_o can_v not_o be_v in_o our_o saviour_n but_o now_o that_o the_o lord_n may_v pluck_v away_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o love_n and_o favour_n and_o take_v away_o the_o operation_n and_o conveyance_n of_o his_o mercy_n this_o god_n may_v just_o do_v as_o he_o see_v good_a this_o be_v not_o a_o sin_n in_o job_n that_o god_n do_v take_v away_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o love_n and_o mercy_n and_o seem_v to_o be_v his_o enemy_n but_o if_o job_n have_v go_v away_o from_o god_n as_o god_n do_v from_o he_o than_o he_o have_v sin_v but_o he_o hold_v god_n still_o this_o be_v not_o a_o sin_n in_o job_n that_o god_n do_v thus_o forsake_v he_o though_o haply_o it_o be_v through_o his_o sin_n deserve_v it_o all_o this_o do_v befall_v our_o saviour_n christ_n and_o yet_o he_o be_v full_a of_o holiness_n and_o hang_v upon_o god_n and_o say_v my_o god_n my_o god_n why_o have_v thou_o forsake_v i_o and_o god_n be_v angry_a with_o he_o because_o he_o have_v our_o sin_n upon_o he_o but_o the_o first_o of_o these_o be_v not_o in_o christ_n he_o do_v not_o depart_v from_o god_n the_o second_o be_v inflict_v upon_o our_o saviour_n and_o that_o may_v be_v just_o this_o add_v much_o light_n to_o those_o passage_n those_o two_o ardent_a petition_n of_o those_o two_o worthy_a light_n moses_n and_o saint_n paul_n exodus_fw-la 32.32_o moses_n perceive_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v ready_a to_o destroy_v the_o israelite_n for_o their_o sin_n he_o say_v now_o if_o thou_o pardon_v to_o come_v to_o god_n &_o the_o utter_a destruction_n of_o the_o people_n of_o the_o jew_n he_o say_v i_o can_v even_o desire_v to_o be_v separate_v from_o christ_n &_o to_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o jew_n that_o they_o may_v not_o be_v forsake_v of_o god_n now_o shall_v a_o man_n pray_v to_o be_v remove_v out_o of_o god_n presence_n and_o to_o be_v separate_v from_o god_n for_o ever_o and_o to_o be_v cut_v off_o from_o god_n and_o to_o be_v separate_v from_o christ_n jesus_n no_o for_o this_o be_v sinful_a either_o it_o signify_v that_o paul_n shall_v have_v his_o heart_n loosen_v and_o sit_v loose_a in_o his_o affection_n to_o god_n and_o to_o jesus_n christ_n this_o paul_n do_v not_o pray_v for_o for_o it_o be_v a_o horrible_a sin_n and_o it_o be_v a_o argument_n he_o hate_v christ_n and_o himself_o too_o now_o so_o far_o as_o it_o imply_v our_o want_n of_o love_n to_o god_n and_o our_o want_n of_o depend_v upon_o god_n it_o be_v a_o fearful_a sin_n and_o these_o holy_a
