grant_v i_o thy_o peace_n all_o my_o day_n gracious_o pardon_v my_o infirmity_n and_o defend_v i_o in_o all_o danger_n have_v outward_o in_o my_o body_n good_n and_o name_n and_o inwardlye_o in_o my_o soul_n against_o all_o evil_a temptation_n and_o subtle_a bait_n of_o sathan_n that_o roar_a lion_n seek_v who_o he_o may_v devour_v grant_v o_o lord_n that_o i_o and_o every_o member_n of_o thy_o church_n in_o his_o vocation_n and_o calling_n may_v true_o and_o godlilie_o serve_v thou_o graft_n in_o my_o heart_n the_o love_n of_o thy_o name_n increase_v in_o i_o true_a religion_n replenish_v i_o with_o all_o goodness_n and_o of_o thy_o great_a mercy_n keep_v i_o in_o the_o same_o unto_o the_o end_n give_v unto_o i_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n true_a humility_n perfect_a patience_n and_o continual_a joy_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n i_o commend_v unto_o thy_o pratection_n o_o father_n my_o house_n &_o all_o that_o thou_o have_v give_v i_o my_o whole_a family_n my_o wife_n &_o child_n and_o i_o that_o i_o may_v well_o and_o holy_o govern_v nourish_v and_o bring_v they_o up_o in_o thy_o fear_n &_o service_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o in_o this_o world_n i_o must_v always_o be_v at_o war_n not_o with_o one_o sort_n of_o enemy_n but_o with_o a_o infinite_a number_n not_o only_o with_o flesh_n &_o blood_n but_o with_o the_o devil_n which_o be_v the_o prince_n of_o darkness_n grant_v i_o thy_o grace_n that_o be_v arm_v with_o thy_o defence_n i_o may_v stand_v in_o this_o battle_n with_o a_o invincible_a constancy_n against_o all_o corruption_n which_o i_o be_o encompass_v with_o on_o all_o side_n until_o such_o time_n as_o i_o have_v end_v the_o combat_n which_o during_o this_o life_n i_o must_v sustain_v in_o y_fw-es e_fw-es end_v i_o may_v attain_v to_o thy_o heavenly_a rest_n which_o be_v prepare_v for_o i_o through_o christ_n our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n amen_n a_o prayer_n take_v out_o of_o the_o first_o psalm_n almighty_a and_o most_o gracious_a god_n take_v away_o from_o we_o all_o evil_a counsel_n and_o then_o our_o sin_n sufer_v we_o not_o to_o run_v into_o a_o ungodlye_a and_o wicked_a life_n and_o final_o keep_v out_o mind_n far_o from_o the_o contempt_n of_o godliness_n and_o scorn_v of_o virtue_n 〈◊〉_d in_o the_o stead_n of_o these_o evil_n grant_v 〈◊〉_d we_o may_v continual_o be_v occupy_v in_o thy_o law_n and_o sacred_a scripture_n that_o we_o be_v not_o carry_v about_o like_o the_o wicked_a as_o like_o dust_n and_o fruitless_a chaff_n with_o
