his_o praise_n sure_o the_o least_o affliction_n will_v crush_v we_o if_o we_o have_v no_o other_o strength_n than_o our_o own_o we_o shall_v be_v soon_o crush_v when_o under_o temptation_n o_o we_o in_o such_o a_o way_n of_o seem_a mortification_n yea_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o body_n may_v be_v spend_v in_o seem_a mortification_n and_o the_o corruption_n unmortified_a but_o to_o reflect_v a_o little_a by_o way_n of_o application_n application_n oh_o that_o this_o may_v be_v a_o warn_a piece_n to_o we_o to_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o do_v not_o exalt_v any_o thing_n of_o man_n in_o the_o room_n of_o christ_n take_v heed_n we_o do_v not_o exalt_v our_o rule_n above_o christ_n rule_n that_o we_o do_v not_o form_v rule_n to_o ourselves_o to_o walk_v by_o and_o to_o worship_n by_o and_o decline_v the_o rule_n and_o institution_n and_o ordinance_n of_o christ_n there_o be_v two_o sort_n of_o people_n that_o be_v and_o will_v be_v find_v guilty_a of_o this_o rule_n who_o shall_v now_o speak_v to_o the_o second_o proposition_n this_o woman_n be_v in_o great_a affliction_n and_o distress_n her_o daughter_n be_v possess_v with_o a_o devil_n and_o that_o be_v a_o sore_a burden_n to_o her_o spirit_n now_o this_o great_a affliction_n make_v she_o cry_v loud_o for_o the_o text_n do_v not_o say_v she_o come_v &_o entreat_v and_o beseech_v he_o but_o the_o text_n say_v she_o come_v and_o cry_v unto_o he_o say_v have_v mercy_n on_o i_o o_o lord_n so_o then_o observe_v this_o strong_a affliction_n will_v raise_v strong_a cry_n doctrine_n even_o in_o god_n own_o people_n affliction_n but_o this_o i_o can_v have_v bear_v it_o but_o as_o for_o this_o affliction_n my_o spirit_n can_v bear_v it_o o_o here_o be_v a_o cry_n that_o be_v raise_v by_o affliction_n but_o it_o be_v a_o sinful_a cry_n second_o there_o be_v a_o cry_n in_o affliction_n that_o do_v spring_n from_o impatiency_n and_o that_o be_v a_o sinful_a cry_n when_o a_o man_n or_o woman_n shall_v cry_v out_o with_o a_o great_a cry_n and_o make_v a_o great_a lamentation_n and_o yet_o their_o burden_n but_o a_o ordinary_a burâ—â—â—_n only_o they_o make_v it_o great_a through_o impatiency_n noâ—_n that_o the_o affliction_n be_v so_o in_o itself_o if_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v a_o heart_n to_o carry_v patient_o under_o it_o but_o there_o be_v many_o a_o poor_a creature_n struggle_v with_o his_o affliction_n as_o a_o young_a beast_n unaccustomed_a to_o the_o yoke_n the_o yoke_n be_v easy_a but_o by_o struggle_v and_o strive_v it_o pinch_v and_o make_v it_o cry_v out_o and_o so_o a_o man_n by_o strive_v under_o the_o yoke_n of_o the_o lord_n though_o it_o be_v job_n counsel_n that_o it_o be_v good_a to_o bear_v the_o yoke_n yet_o it_o bring_v impatience_n cry_v out_o this_o be_v a_o sinful_a cry_n three_o that_o be_v a_o sinful_a cry_n that_o spring_v from_o unbelief_n and_o be_v accompany_v with_o unbelief_n when_o as_o a_o man_n or_o woman_n in_o time_n of_o affliction_n shall_v give_v way_n to_o hard_a thought_n of_o god_n whatever_o cry_n be_v accompany_v with_o unbelief_n be_v a_o sinful_a cry_n yet_o this_o be_v the_o case_n of_o many_o they_o can_v persuade_v home_o a_o soul_n to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o himself_o through_o christ_n o_o then_o he_o expect_v that_o that_o soul_n shall_v continual_o wait_v upon_o he_o and_o be_v seek_v of_o he_o in_o that_o way_n which_o be_v of_o the_o lord_n own_o appointment_n it_o be_v true_a he_o be_v find_v many_o time_n of_o those_o that_o seek_v he_o not_o but_o the_o lord_n be_v not_o find_v of_o those_o that_o seek_v he_o lazy_o he_o hear_v not_o cold_a prayer_n no_o it_o be_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o lord_n hear_v quest_n ah_o but_o some_o will_v say_v i_o can_v cry_v and_o pray_v i_o can_v continue_v in_o prayer_n my_o spirit_n be_v overwhelm_v and_o i_o be_o so_o shut_v up_o that_o i_o know_v not_o how_o to_o utter_v a_o word_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n answ_n i_o answer_v though_o thy_o spirit_n be_v overwhelm_v thou_o may_v pray_v and_o cry_v aloud_o to_o the_o lord_n david_n do_v so_o and_o why_o may_v not_o thou_o psal_n 142._o 3._o i_o cry_v say_v he_o this_o worship_n it_o be_v either_o the_o worship_n of_o the_o spirit_n internal_a or_o 2._o it_o be_v the_o wait_a upon_o god_n in_o those_o institution_n of_o his_o own_o which_o he_o have_v appoint_v for_o his_o people_n to_o wait_v upon_o he_o in_o which_o be_v external_n worship_n this_o worship_n first_o be_v that_o of_o the_o spirit_n you_o will_v say_v wherein_o do_v it_o consist_v why_o it_o consist_v first_o of_o all_o consist_v in_o that_o holy_a fear_n and_o reverence_n which_o we_o owe_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o shall_v be_v act_v towards_o god_n when_o god_n bring_v
