male_a in_o his_o flock_n but_o offer_v a_o corrupt_a thing_n the_o lord_n give_v he_o to_o understand_v and_o will_v he_o to_o consider_v that_o he_o be_v a_o great_a king_n and_o have_v a_o dreadful_a name_n even_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n mal._n 1._o 14._o his_o be_v a_o spirit_n will_v tell_v we_o that_o he_o be_v to_o be_v worship_v in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n not_o after_o a_o carnal_a and_o lie_a manner_n consider_v he_o as_o the_o first_o be_v &_o chief_a good_a &_o thence_o learn_v that_o the_o first_o &_o best_a of_o our_o heart_n ability_n time_n spirit_n soul_n be_v his_o due_n and_o that_o lame_a blind_a heartless_a lifeless_a service_n be_v very_o much_o unbecoming_a he_o his_o sovereignty_n as_o it_o command_v devotion_n so_o it_o will_v guard_v we_o from_o snuff_v at_o his_o service_n or_o slubber_v over_o his_o worship_n his_o omnipresence_n will_v beget_v reverence_n and_o promote_v sincerity_n it_o be_v no_o great_a matter_n how_o man_n carry_v it_o before_o a_o idol_n that_o have_v no_o eye_n but_o reason_n much_o more_o religion_n will_v direct_v we_o to_o look_v to_o ourselves_o when_o we_o have_v such_o a_o eye_n upon_o we_o and_o will_v be_v useful_a to_o prevent_v that_o commonness_n of_o heart_n and_o carriage_n so_o unsuitable_a for_o his_o presence_n his_o omniscience_n will_v assure_v we_o that_o he_o will_v not_o be_v shammed_a nor_o impose_v upon_o there_o be_v no_o mock_v he_o with_o shadow_n or_o pretence_n he_o be_v not_o to_o be_v treat_v after_o that_o manner_n he_o will_v say_v to_o every_o hypocrite_n though_o under_o the_o great_a disguise_n why_o feign_a thou_o thyself_o to_o be_v another_o person_n i_o have_v heavy_a tiding_n for_o thou_o and_o a_o curse_n upon_o the_o deceiver_n be_v heavy_a tiding_n his_o omnipotence_n will_v represent_v he_o as_o a_o person_n that_o have_v in_o a_o readiness_n wherewith_o to_o avenge_v all_o affront_v and_o to_o assist_v all_o the_o humble_a soul_n that_o desire_v to_o serve_v he_o better_o his_o holiness_n tell_v we_o that_o we_o must_v lift_v up_o holy_a hand_n and_o heart_n before_o he_o and_o purge_v ourselves_o in_o order_n to_o our_o be_v vessel_n fit_v for_o our_o master_n use_n his_o justice_n will_v caution_n we_o from_o take_v his_o name_n in_o vain_a because_o he_o will_v not_o holâ—_n we_o guiltless_a and_o when_o we_o take_v up_o his_o worship_n without_o spirit_n heart_n life_n care_n labour_n seriousness_n we_o take_v his_o name_n in_o vain_a his_o bounty_n and_o goodness_n will_v quicken_v we_o to_o serve_v he_o with_o enlargedness_n of_o heart_n who_o have_v such_o a_o liberal_a hand_n to_o reward_v all_o his_o servant_n his_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n as_o they_o will_v put_v we_o beyond_o dispute_n about_o the_o certainty_n of_o the_o reward_n if_o we_o serve_v he_o well_o so_o of_o the_o punishment_n if_o trifle_v and_o slight_o therein_o thus_o right_a conception_n of_o god_n will_v notable_o influence_n you_o into_o right_a worship_n &_o a_o due_a performance_n of_o it_o 3._o study_v well_o the_o right_a way_n in_o which_o god_n will_v be_v worship_v and_o his_o own_o way_n be_v the_o only_a right_a way_n he_o have_v plain_o tell_v we_o in_o his_o word_n how_o he_o will_v be_v worship_v if_o we_o bring_v he_o any_o other_o worship_n than_o that_o of_o his_o own_o prescribe_v he_o will_v call_v it_o lie_v and_o deceit_n beware_v therefore_o that_o none_o spoil_v you_o through_o vain_a deceit_n after_o the_o tradition_n of_o man_n col._n 2._o 8._o a_o very_a good_a caution_n for_o tradition_n of_o man_n in_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n will_v spoil_v our_o worship_n and_o spoil_v we_o also_o and_o be_v right_o call_v deceitful_a and_o vain_a because_o they_o take_v we_o off_o from_o the_o only_a true_a acceptable_a and_o profitable_a service_n of_o god_n resolve_v upon_o it_o either_o bible-worship_n or_o none_o at_o all_o all_o other_o be_v as_o yea_o worse_o than_o none_o it_o be_v lie_a worship_n if_o not_o warrant_v by_o god_n word_n whatever_o pretence_n it_o may_v make_v to_o decency_n in_o itself_o or_o authority_n from_o man_n tradition_n from_o our_o forefather_n or_o the_o command_v of_o the_o church_n god_n will_v say_v of_o it_o bring_v no_o more_o vain_a oblation_n &_o who_o have_v require_v these_o thing_n at_o your_o hand_n nor_o will_v god_n take_v it_o as_o a_o answer_n if_o we_o say_v that_o ecclesiastical_a authority_n enjoin_v it_o
