we_o may_v then_o question_v the_o deity_n of_o god_n the_o father_n who_o be_v only_o know_v and_o distinguish_v from_o all_o creature_n by_o these_o and_o the_o like_a attribute_n give_v to_o he_o and_o description_n of_o he_o so_o that_o i_o see_v no_o way_n to_o escape_v the_o powerful_a convince_a testimony_n of_o this_o truth_n if_o there_o be_v but_o a_o search_n after_o it_o unless_o we_o the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o a_o person_n john_n 14.16_o 17._o and_o i_o will_v pray_v the_o father_n and_o he_o shall_v give_v you_o another_o comforter_n that_o he_o may_v abide_v with_o you_o for_o particular_o some_o affirm_v that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v only_o (null)_o or_o nothing_o but_o man_n and_o though_o the_o racovian_a catechism_n do_v acknowledge_v he_o be_v more_o than_o a_o mere_a man_n yet_o they_o do_v not_o allow_v christ_n to_o have_v a_o divine_a nature_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o pag._n 27_o 28._o of_o that_o catechism_n where_o by_o way_n of_o question_n they_o say_v be_v the_o lord_n jesus_n then_o a_o mere_a man_n the_o answer_n be_v by_o no_o mean_n for_o he_o be_v conceive_v of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n and_o bear_v of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n and_o therefore_o be_v from_o his_o very_a conception_n and_o birth_n the_o son_n of_o god_n as_o we_o read_v luke_n 1.30_o and_o the_o answer_n be_v close_v with_o these_o word_n that_o the_o lord_n jesus_n ought_v of_o timothy_n that_o the_o elect_a angel_n be_v equal_a to_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n as_o there_o be_v for_o the_o holy_a spirit_n be_v equality_n with_o they_o from_o matth._n 28._o for_o if_o we_o right_o consider_v these_o two_o scripture_n we_o may_v easy_o see_v that_o they_o be_v not_o parallel_n but_o that_o the_o holy_a spirit_n and_o the_o elect_a angel_n be_v join_v together_o with_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n upon_o far_o different_a account_n the_o one_o be_v rank_v together_o not_o as_o equal_v with_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n but_o because_o they_o be_v minister_a spirit_n that_o have_v their_o eye_n on_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o behold_v the_o order_n and_o discipline_n of_o it_o who_o work_n and_o office_n be_v to_o attend_v upon_o it_o and_o be_v familiar_a about_o it_o 1_o cor._n 11.10_o psal_n 34.7_o insomuch_o that_o we_o ought_v to_o be_v very_o careful_a of_o speak_v or_o do_v any_o unseemly_a thing_n that_o may_v hinder_v the_o ministration_n of_o those_o bless_a and_o holy_a spirit_n now_o for_o this_o cause_n paul_n exhort_v timothy_n to_o observe_v those_o thing_n as_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o holy_a angel_n and_o therefore_o they_o be_v rank_v together_o and_o not_o as_o equal_v in_o nature_n and_o divine_a worship_n for_o they_o refuse_v to_o assume_v that_o glory_n which_o be_v peculiar_o proper_a to_o god_n alone_o rev._n 22._o so_o that_o this_o text_n relate_v to_o the_o inspection_n of_o angel_n into_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o way_n of_o which_o protection_n be_v minister_v to_o they_o by_o the_o angel_n who_o be_v say_v to_o encamp_v round_o about_o those_o that_o fear_v the_o lord_n psal_n 34.7_o or_o else_o the_o apostle_n show_v by_o rank_v these_o three_o together_o that_o the_o angel_n be_v witness_n to_o this_o charge_n though_o in_o all_o thing_n else_o they_o can_v be_v unless_o they_o can_v search_v the_o heart_n and_o try_v the_o reins_o and_o why_o may_v not_o the_o apostle_n take_v they_o in_o as_o witness_n as_o moses_n do_v who_o call_v heaven_n and_o earth_n viz._n god_n angel_n and_o man_n join_v they_o as_o witness_n against_o israel_n that_o he_o have_v set_v before_o they_o life_n and_o death_n etc._n etc._n deut._n 30.19_o but_o the_o holy_a spirit_n matth._n 28._o be_v equal_o honour_v with_o they_o both_o for_o in_o this_o ordinance_n of_o baptism_n wherein_o we_o worship_v god_n in_o acknowledge_v what_o he_o have_v do_v for_o we_o in_o order_n to_o salvation_n we_o be_v command_v to_o ascribe_v it_o to_o the_o father_n son_n and_o holy_a spirit_n and_o there_o be_v reason_n for_o it_o for_o though_o the_o father_n have_v accept_v the_o merit_n of_o his_o son_n on_o condition_n of_o true_a faith_n and_o repentance_n yet_o if_o the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v not_o undertake_v to_o work_v these_o condition_n in_o we_o we_o have_v be_v lose_v so_o that_o we_o be_v oblige_v both_o from_o the_o work_n itself_o and_o the_o command_n of_o god_n to_o attribute_v the_o same_o honour_n to_o the_o one_o as_o to_o the_o other_o and_o herein_o chief_o lie_v the_o difference_n of_o this_o text_n from_o that_o of_o timothy_n because_o this_o command_v divine_a worship_n to_o be_v give_v to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n together_o with_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n which_o declare_v his_o divine_a nature_n objection_n to_o isa_n 6.9_o 10._o compare_v with_o act_n 28.25_o 26_o 27._o to_o these_o two_o scripture_n i_o have_v meet_v with_o biddle_n the_o lord_n and_o his_o holy_a spirit_n but_o it_o be_v well_o that_o there_o be_v such_o a_o intimation_n in_o the_o text_n themselves_o for_o in_o the_o one_o the_o lord_n speak_v to_o isaiah_n in_o a_o vision_n in_o the_o other_o that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n speak_v they_o by_o isaiah_n to_o the_o father_n these_o two_o be_v different_a since_o isaiah_n only_o hear_v these_o word_n in_o the_o vision_n for_o have_v the_o father_n be_v there_o why_o shall_v god_n bid_v isaiah_n go_v and_o tell_v they_o to_o the_o people_n paul_n ascribe_v these_o word_n to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o intimate_v only_o that_o whatsoever_o be_v speak_v in_o the_o scripture_n be_v record_v by_o the_o inspiration_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n and_o so_o speak_v by_o he_o answer_n your_o elusion_n to_o
