that_o be_v jesus_n christ_n to_o write_v this_o doctrine_n of_o the_o apocalypse_v but_o may_v some_o man_n say_v be_v not_o john_n call_v before_o be_v he_o not_o one_o of_o the_o lamb_n 12._o upon_o my_o knee_n with_o drop_v eye_n yea_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a with_o tear_n of_o blood_n beseech_v and_o entreat_v the_o learned_a and_o reverend_a father_n of_o our_o church_n that_o they_o will_v bend_v all_o their_o power_n and_o authority_n with_o all_o their_o might_n and_o main_a against_o the_o romish_a strumpet_n and_o the_o rather_o because_o in_o these_o day_n she_o seem_v to_o make_v a_o head_n again_o have_v so_o many_o and_o great_a favourer_n that_o she_o and_o her_o complice_n dare_v perk_n with_o their_o neb_n and_o very_o bold_o and_o confident_o prate_v of_o a_o toleration_n here_o also_o i_o do_v most_o humble_o and_o earnest_o entreat_v all_o my_o learned_a and_o godly_a brethren_n the_o minister_n and_o preacher_n of_o this_o church_n of_o england_n that_o in_o all_o their_o public_a teach_n and_o private_a proceed_n they_o will_v make_v strong_a opposition_n against_o rome_n and_o romish_a religion_n and_o i_o beseech_v the_o god_n of_o god_n that_o holy_a ghost_n say_v they_o have_v not_o receive_v a_o kingdom_n but_o shall_v receive_v power_n as_o king_n at_o a_o hour_n with_o the_o beast_n which_o be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v simple_o but_o after_o a_o sort_n for_o they_o have_v receive_v kingdom_n under_o the_o emperor_n but_o not_o in_o such_o sort_n as_o afterward_o they_o do_v under_o the_o pope_n for_o the_o roman_a monarchy_n under_o the_o dominion_n of_o the_o pope_n be_v in_o his_o great_a height_n and_o altitude_n and_o the_o king_n of_o europe_n grow_v up_o together_o with_o the_o papacy_n in_o power_n might_n and_o in_o many_o error_n and_o heresy_n and_o harden_v and_o blind_v many_o man_n heart_n but_o yet_o all_o this_o be_v nothing_o in_o comparison_n of_o that_o which_o he_o have_v wrought_v in_o former_a age_n when_o he_o be_v even_o as_o it_o be_v the_o god_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o gentile_n worship_v he_o as_o god_n as_o the_o apostle_n teach_v 10._o 1_o cor._n 10._o that_o all_o the_o worship_n of_o the_o heathen_a nation_n be_v the_o worship_n of_o devil_n and_o again_o 14.16_o act_n 14.16_o that_o god_n in_o time_n past_o suffer_v all_o the_o gentile_n to_o walk_v in_o their_o continue_v not_o much_o above_o five_o hundred_o year_n which_o here_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o our_o comfort_n call_v a_o little_a season_n of_o which_o we_o have_v hear_v before_o 11.2_o chap._n
