which_o thou_o conducte_v thy_o work_n thou_o have_v draw_v i_o out_o of_o the_o first_o make_v i_o to_o pass_v through_o the_o second_o to_o arrive_v at_o the_o three_o lord_n it_o be_v what_o i_o hearty_o beg_v of_o thou_o xii_o suffer_v not_o that_o i_o may_v be_v in_o that_o distance_n from_o thou_o that_o i_o may_v consider_v this_o soul_n sorrowful_a unto_o death_n and_o this_o body_n press_v by_o death_n for_o my_o sin_n and_o not_o rejoice_v to_o suffer_v both_o in_o my_o body_n and_o in_o my_o soul_n for_o what_o be_v there_o more_o shameful_a and_o yet_o more_o common_a in_o christian_n and_o even_o in_o myself_o than_o whilst_o thou_o do_v sweat_v blood_n to_o expiate_v our_o offence_n we_o live_v in_o pleasure_n that_o christian_n who_o make_v profession_n to_o belong_v to_o thou_o that_o those_o who_o by_o baptism_n have_v renounce_v the_o world_n solemn_o in_o the_o face_n of_o the_o church_n to_o live_v and_o die_v with_o thou_o that_o those_o that_o make_v profession_n to_o believe_v the_o world_n persecute_v and_o crucify_a thou_o that_o those_o that_o believe_v thou_o do_v expose_v thyself_o to_o god_n anger_n and_o to_o the_o rage_n of_o man_n to_o ransom_v they_o from_o their_o sin_n that_o those_o i_o say_v that_o believe_v all_o these_o truth_n that_o consider_v thy_o body_n as_o the_o sacrifice_n that_o be_v deliver_v for_o their_o salvation_n that_o consider_v the_o pleasure_n and_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n as_o the_o only_a subject_n of_o thy_o suffering_n and_o the_o world_n itself_o as_o thy_o executioner_n yet_o shall_v seek_v to_o pamper_v their_o body_n with_o these_o same_o pleasure_n in_o this_o same_o world_n and_o that_o those_o that_o can_v without_o horror_n see_v a_o man_n embrace_v and_o cherish_v the_o murderer_n of_o their_o father_n that_o give_v himself_o to_o death_n to_o restore_v they_o to_o life_n how_o they_o can_v live_v as_o i_o have_v do_v with_o full_a delight_n in_o the_o world_n which_o i_o very_o well_o know_v be_v the_o murderer_n of_o he_o that_o i_o acknowledge_v to_o be_v my_o father_n and_o my_o god_n and_o that_o give_v himself_o to_o the_o death_n for_o my_o salvation_n and_o that_o bear_v in_o his_o body_n the_o punishment_n due_a to_o my_o sin_n it_o be_v just_a lord_n that_o thou_o shall_v put_v a_o stop_n to_o such_o sinful_a delight_n as_o those_o be_v wherein_o i_o rest_v under_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n xiii_o take_v therefore_o from_o i_o lord_n the_o sorrow_n which_o self-love_n may_v give_v i_o for_o my_o own_o suffering_n and_o by_o reason_n that_o worldly_a thing_n do_v succeed_v according_a to_o the_o inclination_n of_o my_o heart_n that_o tend_v not_o to_o thy_o glory_n but_o be_v please_v to_o cast_v i_o into_o a_o sorrow_n conformable_a unto_o thou_o let_v my_o suffering_n in_o some_o measure_n pacify_v thy_o anger_n make_v they_o be_v a_o occasion_n of_o my_o conversion_n and_o salvation_n let_v i_o not_o henceforth_o desire_v health_n nor_o life_n but_o that_o i_o may_v employ_v and_o end_v they_o for_o thou_o and_o with_o thou_o and_o in_o thou_o i_o do_v ask_v health_n nor_o sickness_n nor_o life_n nor_o death_n but_o that_o thou_o will_v dispose_v of_o my_o health_n and_o sickness_n of_o my_o life_n and_o death_n for_o thy_o glory_n and_o my_o salvation_n and_o for_o the_o good_a of_o thy_o church_n and_o saint_n of_o which_o i_o hope_v by_o thy_o grace_n to_o make_v a_o part_n thou_o only_o know_v what_o be_v expedient_a for_o i_o thou_o be_v the_o absolute_a disposer_n of_o all_o thing_n do_v what_o seem_v good_a in_o thy_o sight_n give_v unto_o i_o take_v away_o from_o i_o but_o conform_v my_o will_n to_o thy_o holy_a will_n and_o that_o in_o a_o humble_a and_o perfect_a submission_n and_o holy_a confidence_n i_o may_v prepare_v myself_o to_o receive_v the_o decree_n of_o thy_o eternal_a providence_n and_o that_o i_o may_v equal_o adore_v all_o thing_n that_o proceed_v from_o thou_o fourteen_o grant_v o_o my_o god_n that_o in_o a_o constant_a uniformity_n of_o mind_n i_o may_v receive_v all_o sort_n of_o event_n because_o we_o do_v know_v what_o to_o ask_v for_o and_o that_o i_o can_v desire_v one_o thing_n rather_o than_o another_o without_o presumption_n and_o without_o make_v myself_o a_o judge_n and_o liable_a to_o answer_v the_o consequence_n which_o in_o thy_o wisdom_n thou_o have_v just_o hide_v from_o i_o lord_n i_o know_v i_o know_v but_o one_o thing_n which_o be_v that_o it_o be_v good_a to_o serve_v thou_o and_o that_o it_o be_v ill_a to_o offend_v thou_o beside_o this_o i_o do_v know_v which_o be_v worst_a or_o best_a in_o any_o thing_n i_o can_v tell_v which_o be_v best_a for_o i_o health_n or_o sickness_n riches_n or_o poverty_n or_o any_o thing_n else_o in_o the_o world_n these_o thing_n pass_v the_o skill_n of_o man_n and_o angel_n to_o discern_v and_o be_v hide_v in_o the_o secret_n of_o thy_o providence_n which_o i_o humble_o adore_v and_o will_v not_o presume_v to_o pry_v into_o xv._n grant_v therefore_o lord_n that_o such_o as_o i_o be_o i_o may_v conform_v myself_o to_o thy_o will_n and_o that_o be_v sick_a as_o i_o be_o i_o may_v glorify_v thou_o in_o my_o suffering_n without_o they_o i_o can_v attain_v to_o glory_n and_o thou_o thyself_o my_o bless_a saviour_n will_v not_o arrive_v thereunto_o by_o any_o other_o way_n it_o be_v by_o the_o mark_n of_o thy_o suffering_n that_o thou_o be_v know_v to_o thy_o disciple_n and_o it_o be_v by_o suffering_n that_o thou_o do_v also_o know_v those_o that_o be_v thy_o disciple_n acknowledge_v i_o therefore_o for_o thy_o disciple_n in_o the_o pain_n which_o i_o suffer_v both_o in_o my_o body_n and_o mind_n for_o the_o offence_n which_o i_o have_v commit_v and_o because_o nothing_o be_v well_o please_v to_o god_n but_o what_o be_v offer_v up_o by_o thou_o conform_v my_o will_n to_o thy_o will_n and_o my_o suffering_n to_o those_o which_o thou_o have_v suffer_v grant_v that_o i_o may_v become_v thou_o unite_v i_o unto_o thou_o fill_v i_o with_o thyself_o and_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n enter_v into_o my_o heart_n and_o soul_n to_o bring_v thither_o my_o suffering_n and_o to_o continue_v to_o maintain_v in_o i_o what_o be_v yet_o behind_o to_o suffer_v of_o thy_o passion_n which_o thou_o do_v fulfil_v in_o thy_o member_n until_o the_o full_a consummation_n of_o thy_o body_n
