have_v she_o in_o his_o behold_n he_o shall_v teach_v himself_o and_o that_o be_v most_o worship_n to_o he_o and_o most_o profit_n to_o the_o soul_n and_o most_o receive_v of_o meekness_n and_o virtue_n with_o the_o grace_n and_o lead_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o a_o soul_n that_o only_o resign_v he_o to_o god_n with_o very_a trust_n either_o in_o seek_v or_o in_o behold_v it_o be_v the_o most_o worship_n that_o he_o may_v do_v as_o to_o my_o sight_n these_o be_v two_o working_n that_o may_v be_v see_v in_o this_o vision_n that_o one_o be_v seek_v the_o other_o be_v behold_v grace_n glad_o and_o merry_o without_o unreasonable_a heaviness_n and_o vain-sorrow_n the_o second_o that_o we_o abide_v he_o steadfast_o for_o his_o love_n without_o grudge_v and_o strive_v against_o he_o into_o life_n end_n for_o it_o shall_v last_v but_o a_o while_n the_o three_o be_v that_o we_o trust_v in_o he_o mighty_o of_o full_a and_o true_a faith_n for_o it_o be_v his_o will_n that_o we_o some_o deed_n evil_a and_o our_o lord_n behold_v they_o not_o so_o for_o as_o all_o that_o have_v be_v in_o kind_n be_v of_o god_n make_v so_o be_v all_o thing_n that_o be_v do_v in_o property_n of_o god_n do_v for_o it_o be_v easy_a to_o
holy_a church_n in_o the_o same_o grace_n in_o this_o will_v our_o lord_n that_o we_o be_v occupy_v and_o joy_v in_o he_o for_o he_o joy_v in_o we_o and_o the_o more_o plenteous_o that_o we_o take_v of_o this_o with_o reverence_n and_o meekness_n the_o more_o thank_v we_o deserve_v of_o he_o and_o the_o more_o profit_n more_o i_o e._n profit_n speed_n to_o ourselves_o and_o thus_o may_v we_o some_o creature_n make_v they_o so_o busy_a therein_o and_o i_o be_o sure_a if_o we_o know_v we_o i_o e._n know_v wist_v how_o great_o we_o shall_v please_v he_o and_o ease_v ourselves_o to_o leave_v it_o we_o will_v the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n they_o will_v nothing_o wit_v but_o what_o our_o lord_n will_v show_v they_o and_o also_o their_o charity_n and_o their_o desire_n be_v rule_v after_o ruth_n and_o pity_n as_o very_o there_o be_v a_o property_n in_o god_n of_o thirst_n and_o longing_n and_o of_o the_o virtue_n of_o this_o longing_n in_o christ_n we_o have_v to_o long_o again_o to_o he_o without_o which_o no_o soul_n come_v to_o heaven_n and_o this_o property_n of_o longing_n and_o thirst_n come_v of_o the_o endless_a goodness_n of_o god_n right_a as_o the_o property_n of_o pity_n come_v of_o his_o endless_a goodness_n and_o though_o he_o have_v longing_n and_o pity_n they_o be_v sundry_a property_n as_o to_o my_o sight_n and_o in_o this_o stand_v the_o point_n of_o ghostly_a thirst_n which_o be_v last_v in_o he_o as_o long_o as_o we_o be_v in_o need_n we_o draw_v up_o to_o his_o bliss_n and_o all_o this_o be_v see_v in_o show_v of_o compassion_n for_o that_o shall_v cease_v at_o doomsday_n thus_o he_o have_v ruth_n and_o compassion_n on_o we_o and_o he_o have_v longing_n to_o have_v we_o but_o his_o wisdom_n and_o his_o love_n suffer_v not_o the_o end_n the_o i_o e._n end_n same_o to_o come_v till_o the_o best_a time_n the_o xxxij_o chapter_n one_o time_n our_o good_a lord_n say_v all_o manner_n of_o thing_n shall_v be_v well_o and_o another_o time_n one_o and_o to_o other_o and_o so_o mean_v he_o in_o that_o he_o say_v all_o manner_n of_o thing_n shall_v be_v well_o for_o he_o will_v that_o we_o wit_n that_o the_o least_o thing_n shall_v not_o be_v forget_v another_o understanding_n be_v this_o that_o there_o be_v many_o deed_n evil_a do_v in_o our_o sight_n and_o so_o great_a harm_n take_v that_o it_o seem_v to_o we_o that_o it_o be_v that_o great_o please_v god_n and_o also_o meek_o take_v bodily_a sickness_n of_o god_n send_v also_o sorrow_n and_o shame_n outward_o with_o reproof_n and_o despite_n of_o the_o world_n with_o all_o manner_n of_o grievance_n and_o temptation_n that_o we_o be_v cast_v in_o ghostly_a and_o bodily_a full_a precious_o our_o good_a lord_n keep_v we_o when_o it_o seem_v to_o we_o that_o we_o be_v near_o forsake_v and_o cast_v away_o for_o our_o sin_n and_o for_o we_o see_v that_o we_o have_v deserve_v it_o and_o because_o of_o the_o meekness_n that_o we_o get_v thereby_o we_o be_v raise_v full_a high_a in_o god_n sight_n by_o his_o grace_n and_o also_o who_o our_o lord_n will_v he_o visit_v of_o his_o special_a grace_n with_o so_o great_a contrition_n and_o also_o with_o compassion_n and_o true_a longing_n to_o god_n that_o they_o be_v sudden_o deliver_v of_o sin_n and_o of_o pain_n and_o take_v up_o to_o bliss_n and_o make_v even_o with_o saint_n by_o contrition_n we_o be_v make_v clean_o by_o compassion_n we_o be_v make_v ready_a and_o by_o true_a long_v to_o god_n we_o be_v make_v worthy_a these_o be_v three_o mean_n as_o i_o understand_v whereby_o that_o all_o soul_n come_v to_o heaven_n that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o have_v be_v sinner_n in_o earth_n and_o shall_v be_v save_v for_o by_o these_o medicine_n behove_v that_o every_o sinful_a soul_n be_v heal_v though_o that_o he_o be_v heal_v his_o wound_n be_v see_v before_o god_n not_o as_o wound_n but_o as_o worship_n and_o so_o on_o the_o contrariwise_o as_o we_o be_v punish_v here_o with_o sorrow_n and_o with_o penance_n we_o shall_v be_v reward_v in_o heaven_n by_o the_o courteous_a love_n of_o our_o god_n almighty_a that_o will_v that_o none_o that_o come_v there_o lose_v his_o travel_n in_o any_o degree_n for_o he_o behold_v sin_n as_o sorrow_n and_o pain_n to_o his_o lover_n in_o who_o he_o assign_v no_o blame_n for_o love_n the_o meed_n that_o we_o undertake_v shall_v not_o be_v little_a but_o it_o shall_v be_v high_a glorious_a and_o worshipful_a and_o so_o shall_v all_o shame_n turn_v to_o worship_n and_o to_o joy_n for_o our_o courteous_a lord_n will_v not_o that_o his_o work_n to_o keep_v we_o in_o the_o faith_n and_o by_o his_o sufferance_n through_o ghostly_a enmity_n we_o be_v try_v be_v i_o e._n try_v assay_v in_o the_o faith_n and_o make_v mighty_a for_o if_o our_o faith_n have_v not_o enmity_n it_o shall_v deserve_v no_o meed_n as_o by_o the_o understanding_n that_o i_o have_v in_o our_o lord_n meaning_n glad_a and_o merry_a and_o sweet_a be_v the_o blessedful_a lovely_n cheer_v of_o our_o lord_n to_o our_o soul_n for_o he_o behold_v we_o ever_o live_v in_o love-longing_a and_o he_o will_v our_o soul_n be_v in_o glad_a cheer_n to_o he_o to_o yield_v he_o his_o meed_n and_o thus_o i_o hope_v with_o his_o grace_n he_o have_v and_o more_o shall_v draw_v the_o outward_a the_o i_o e._n outward_a utter_a cheer_n to_o the_o inner_a and_o make_v we_o all_o at_o one_o with_o he_o and_o each_o of_o we_o with_o other_o in_o true_a last_a joy_n that_o be_v jesus_n i_o have_v meaning_n of_o three_o manner_n of_o cheer_v of_o our_o lord_n the_o first_o be_v cheer_n of_o passion_n as_o he_o show_v while_o he_o be_v with_o we_o in_o this_o life_n die_v and_o though_o this_o behold_n be_v mourning_n and_o dark_a and_o i_o e._n dark_a swemful_n yet_o it_o be_v glad_a and_o merry_a for_o he_o be_v god_n the_o second_o manner_n of_o cheer_n it_o be_v pity_n and_o ruth_n and_o compassion_n and_o this_o show_v he_o to_o all_o his_o lover_n we_o to_o bear_v it_o by_o his_o own_o bless_a virtue_n and_o in_o time_n of_o our_o sin_v he_o show_v to_o we_o cheer_v of_o ruth_n and_o pity_n mighty_o keep_v we_o and_o defend_v against_o all_o our_o enemy_n and_o these_o two_o be_v the_o common_a cheer_v which_o he_o show_v to_o we_o in_o this_o life_n therewith_o meddle_v the_o three_o and_o that_o be_v his_o bless_a cheer_n like_o in_o party_n as_o it_o shall_v be_v in_o heaven_n and_o that_o be_v by_o gracious_a touch_v of_o sweet_a lightning_n of_o ghostly_a life_n whereby_o that_o we_o be_v keep_v in_o true_a faith_n hope_n and_o work_v it_o in_o we_o by_o grace_n but_o now_o i_o behoove_v to_o tell_v in_o what_o manner_n that_o i_o see_v sin_n deadly_a in_o the_o creature_n which_o shall_v not_o die_v for_o sin_n but_o live_v in_o the_o joy_n of_o god_n without_o end_n i_o see_v that_o two_o contrary_n shall_v not_o be_v together_o in_o one_o steed_n the_o most_o contrarious_a that_o be_v be_v the_o high_a bliss_n and_o the_o deep_a pain_n the_o high_a bliss_n that_o be_v be_v to_o have_v god_n in_o clerity_n of_o endless_a light_n he_o very_o see_v him_z sweet_o feel_v he_o all_o peaceable_a have_v in_o fulhead_n of_o joy_n and_o thus_o be_v the_o blessedful_a cheer_n of_o our_o lord_n god_n show_v in_o party_n in_o which_o show_v i_o see_v that_o sin_n be_v the_o most_o contrary_a so_o far_o forth_o that_o as_o long_o as_o we_o be_v meddle_v with_o any_o part_n of_o sin_n we_o shall_v never_o see_v clear_o the_o bless_a cheer_n of_o god_n and_o the_o horribly_o and_o the_o grievous_a that_o our_o sin_n be_v the_o deep_a be_v we_o for_o that_o time_n from_o this_o bless_a sight_n and_o therefore_o it_o seem_v to_o we_o ostentimes_o as_o we_o be_v in_o peril_n of_o death_n and_o in_o a_o party_n of_o hell_n for_o the_o sorrow_n and_o the_o pain_n that_o sin_n be_v to_o we_o and_o thus_o we_o be_v dead_a for_o the_o time_n from_o the_o very_a sight_n of_o our_o blessedful_a life_n but_o in_o all_o this_o i_o see_v faithful_o that_o we_o be_v not_o dead_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n ne_o he_o pass_v never_o from_o we_o but_o he_o shall_v never_o have_v his_o full_a bless_v in_o we_o till_o we_o have_v our_o full_a bless_v in_o he_o very_o see_v his_o fair_a blessedful_a cheer_n for_o we_o be_v ordain_v thereto_o in_o kind_n and_o get_v thereto_o by_o grace_n thus_o i_o see_v how_o sin_n be_v deadly_a for_o a_o short_a time_n to_o the_o bless_a creature_n of_o endless_a life_n and_o ever_o the_o more_o clear_o that_o the_o soul_n see_v the_o blissful_a cheer_n by_o grace_n of_o love_v the_o more_o it_o long_v to_o see_v it_o
