language_n or_o if_o they_o do_v it_o concern_v not_o they_o or_o if_o it_o stir_v it_o be_v but_o as_o the_o blow_n of_o the_o wind_n upon_o a_o rock_n which_o bluster_v for_o a_o time_n but_o when_o the_o wind_n be_v down_o they_o be_v still_o true_o they_o hear_v the_o word_n speak_v but_o they_o do_v not_o hear_v god_n speak_v they_o hear_v latimer_n speak_v but_o not_o god_n speak_v they_o hear_v a_o sound_n which_o every_o one_o say_v and_o they_o think_v be_v the_o word_n but_o they_o hear_v not_o god_n speak_v it_o one_o will_v wonder_v that_o those_o jew_n that_o hear_v john_n and_o as_o they_o term_v it_o legal_a some_o soul_n can_v relish_v none_o but_o meal-mouthed_a preacher_n who_o come_v with_o soft_a and_o smooth_a and_o toothless_a word_n byssina_fw-la verba_fw-la byssinis_fw-la viris_fw-la but_o these_o time_n need_v humble_v ministery_n and_o bless_v be_v god_n that_o there_o be_v any_o for_o where_o there_o be_v no_o law-sermon_n there_o will_v be_v few_o gospel-live_n and_o be_v there_o more_o law-peaching_a in_o england_n by_o the_o man_n of_o gift_n there_o will_v be_v more_o gospel-walking_a both_o by_o themselves_o and_o the_o people_n to_o preach_v the_o law_n not_o in_o a_o force_a affect_a manner_n but_o wise_o and_o powerful_o together_o with_o the_o gospel_n as_o christ_n himself_o be_v wont_a to_o do_v mat._n 5._o and_o elsewhere_o be_v the_o way_n to_o carry_v on_o all_o three_o together_o sense_n of_o misery_n the_o application_n of_o the_o remedy_n and_o the_o return_n of_o thankfulness_n and_o duty_n nor_o be_v any_o doctrine_n more_o comfort_v then_o this_o humble_v way_n of_o god_n if_o right_o manage_v it_o be_v certain_a the_o foundation_n of_o after-sorrowe_n and_o ruin_n to_o the_o church_n have_v ever_o be_v lay_v in_o the_o day_n of_o her_o prosperity_n and_o peace_n and_o rest_n when_o she_o enjoy_v all_o her_o pleasant_a thing_n this_o the_o watchman_n of_o israel_n shall_v foresee_v and_o and_o mislead_v they_o from_o the_o truth_n and_o way_n of_o god_n but_o the_o machination_n of_o man_n though_o in_o conjunction_n with_o the_o power_n and_o gate_n of_o hell_n shall_v certain_o fall_v at_o last_o before_o truth_n and_o prayer_n and_o of_o this_o be_v the_o first_o treatise_n which_o be_v seasonable_o publish_v to_o be_v fast_o bind_v to_o the_o rule_n with_o all_o the_o bond_n and_o cord_n of_o god_n and_o man_n be_v the_o perfection_n of_o liberty_n hence_o there_o be_v not_o a_o sure_a cornerstone_n of_o ruin_n to_o a_o christian_a commonwealth_n that_o god_n there_o be_v much_o hear_n but_o little_a effectual_a hear_n man_n stand_v like_o the_o oak_n of_o bashan_n before_o the_o word_n of_o the_o god_n of_o israel_n no_o terror_n of_o the_o lord_n no_o news_n of_o everlasting_a destruction_n no_o evidence_n of_o the_o fierce_a anger_n of_o god_n upon_o they_o which_o burn_v down_o to_o the_o bottom_n of_o hell_n can_v take_v hold_n upon_o their_o spirit_n or_o awaken_v their_o conscience_n to_o make_v inquiry_n after_o god_n in_o this_o their_o day_n yea_o if_o the_o bar_n of_o the_o pit_n of_o hell_n be_v break_v and_o if_o the_o devil_n of_o hell_n shall_v come_v fly_v up_o among_o we_o in_o our_o solemn_a assembly_n from_o the_o fiery_a corner_n of_o the_o pit_n below_o with_o everlasting_a burn_n about_o their_o ear_n and_o with_o chain_n of_o darkness_n rattle_v at_o their_o heel_n they_o may_v fright_v man_n out_o of_o their_o wit_n perhaps_o or_o from_o the_o act_n of_o sin_n it_o may_v be_v for_o a_o time_n but_o it_o will_v not_o work_v upon_o their_o heart_n their_o desperate_a dead_a besotted_a heart_n the_o fool_n in_o israel_n will_v have_v their_o swinge_n in_o their_o lust_n and_o go_v to_o hell_n in_o a_o profit_v by_o read_v or_o hear_v take_v every_o word_n as_o a_o special_a message_n to_o thou_o from_o god_n and_o of_o this_o fruitless_a hear_n and_o the_o rule_n of_o hear_v aright_o be_v the_o other_o treatise_n 3._o conscience_n of_o his_o sabbath_n of_o which_o there_o be_v a_o elaborate_a discourse_n of_o this_o author_n former_o publish_v by_o himself_o therefore_o we_o shall_v add_v
