gospel_n and_o glad_a tiding_n of_o salvation_n be_v proclaim_v and_o free_o offer_v forgiveness_n of_o sin_n through_o christ_n as_o be_v plain_a by_o the_o apostle_n paul_n his_o preach_v to_o all_o such_o legacy_n as_o may_v concern_v we_o &_o see_v they_o be_v many_o some_o way_n or_o other_o to_o get_v into_o our_o mind_n and_o memory_n at_o the_o least_o the_o most_o principal_a of_o these_o that_o we_o may_v have_v they_o in_o a_o readiness_n for_o our_o use_n in_o all_o occasion_n to_o minister_v so_o good_a comfort_n as_o if_o we_o have_v the_o best_a help_n present_a we_o can_v devise_n and_o desire_v what_o will_v be_v the_o gain_n of_o this_o practice_n i_o have_v rather_o we_o find_v by_o proof_n then_o hear_v by_o report_n and_o so_o i_o hope_v we_o shall_v do_v when_o we_o shall_v be_v more_o particular_o direct_v to_o put_v this_o instruction_n in_o practice_n but_o yet_o before_o hand_n for_o encouragement_n thus_o much_o will_v i_o say_v and_o no_o more_o run_v to_o one_o of_o these_o general_a promise_n which_o do_v contain_v all_o particular_n and_o so_o apply_v it_o to_o our_o present_a need_n as_o for_o example_n if_o any_o poor_a soul_n shall_v fall_v into_o great_a doubt_n of_o god_n favour_n by_o reason_n of_o some_o great_a affliction_n that_o lie_v heavy_a upon_o he_o or_o some_o corruption_n which_o he_o can_v not_o master_n and_o in_o this_o perplexity_n can_v not_o think_v of_o any_o special_a promise_n whereout_o he_o may_v gather_v some_o comfort_n then_o may_v he_o bold_o lie_v hold_v upon_o any_o one_o of_o these_o general_a help_n for_o poor_a sinner_n in_o christ_n and_o free_o to_o offer_v it_o unto_o they_o in_o his_o word_n and_o second_o how_o faithful_a he_o be_v to_o perform_v all_o that_o he_o have_v say_v that_o by_o this_o mean_v the_o poor_a sinner_n may_v be_v move_v to_o believe_v in_o god_n that_o he_o will_v sure_o succour_v and_o comfort_v he_o in_o due_a season_n and_o measure_n thus_o will_v i_o now_o pass_v from_o these_o general_a promise_n all_o for_o the_o person_n to_o who_o first_o to_o all_o and_o come_v to_o the_o special_a but_o that_o i_o fear_v i_o have_v not_o sufficient_o clear_v one_o point_n concern_v these_o general_n namely_o for_o the_o person_n to_o who_o god_n preach_v and_o proclaim_v these_o mercy_n that_o they_o may_v believe_v i_o speak_v not_o here_o who_o shall_v enjoy_v these_o who_o be_v only_a believer_n and_o their_o seed_n but_o to_o who_o these_o be_v offer_v from_o whence_o be_v raise_v the_o great_a doubt_n in_o many_o for_o their_o salvation_n that_o lord_n i_o say_v well_o acquaint_v with_o this_o frailty_n of_o his_o child_n have_v most_o plentiful_o provide_v all_o sufficient_a help_n to_o support_v they_o and_o therefore_o make_v so_o many_o promise_n to_o be_v with_o they_o in_o all_o their_o trouble_n and_o succour_v they_o in_o all_o extremity_n that_o they_o shall_v never_o perish_v but_o in_o the_o end_n find_v a_o good_a end_n and_o issue_n out_o of_o they_o to_o his_o glory_n and_o their_o endless_a comfort_n have_v peruse_v these_o promise_n and_o gather_v they_o out_o of_o the_o scripture_n i_o may_v bold_o say_v they_o do_v the_o like_o many_o yet_o if_o we_o want_v but_o one_o it_o will_v much_o molest_v we_o and_o take_v away_o our_o comfort_n and_o chearfulnesse_n in_o his_o service_n for_o this_o cause_n the_o lord_n as_o a_o tender_a father_n desire_v the_o welfare_n of_o his_o belove_a child_n bid_v he_o be_v a_o good_a and_o obedient_a child_n and_o so_o promise_v he_o he_o shall_v not_o want_v any_o thing_n among_o who_o see_v it_o be_v well_o know_v to_o all_o that_o have_v live_v with_o i_o for_o these_o last_o ten_o year_n at_o least_o that_o i_o have_v have_v my_o part_n in_o much_o bodily_a
