those_o heretic_n that_o deny_v he_o to_o be_v man_n for_o in_o that_o he_o hunger_v afterward_o he_o declare_v himself_o to_o be_v man_n then_o come_v the_o tempter_n to_o he_o and_o say_v if_o thou_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n make_v these_o stone_n bread_n the_o subtle_a craft_n of_o the_o devil_n be_v plain_o describe_v in_o this_o that_o the_o evangelist_n call_v he_o the_o tempter_n with_o our_o saviour_n as_o he_o have_v do_v with_o eve_n when_o he_o 3._o gen_n 3._o perceive_v she_o be_v desirous_a of_o the_o apple_n forbid_v for_o when_o he_o perceive_v her_o appetite_n provoke_v he_o persuade_v she_o to_o distrust_v and_o disobey_v god_n word_n which_o threaten_v they_o shall_v die_v the_o death_n whensoever_o they_o eat_v of_o the_o apple_n forbid_v these_o trial_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o perfection_n and_o because_o we_o have_v not_o such_o abundance_n of_o victual_n and_o other_o thing_n wherewith_o this_o realm_n have_v heretofore_o be_v most_o plentiful_o bless_v the_o devil_n move_v we_o not_o to_o impute_v it_o unto_o the_o true_a cause_n which_o be_v our_o abominable_a live_n but_o unto_o a_o false_a feign_a cause_n which_o be_v the_o extirpation_n of_o hypocrisy_n and_o superstition_n the_o root_n out_o of_o all_o idolatry_n i_o mean_v to_o speak_v plain_o the_o suppression_n and_o overthrow_n of_o abbey_n monastery_n and_o all_o
