affliction_n godly_a affliction_n do_v confirm_v the_o faith_n of_o the_o godly_a patience_n and_o sufferance_n of_o affliction_n make_v our_o faith_n strong_a whereupon_o come_v our_o hope_n which_o soul_n 93.19_o psal_n 93.19_o so_o that_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n the_o trouble_a and_o afflict_v be_v comfort_v in_o all_o their_o trouble_n and_o affliction_n in_o these_o extremity_n the_o afflict_a have_v great_a need_n to_o be_v strengthen_v and_o confirm_v in_o the_o grace_n of_o christ_n spirit_n without_o faith_n we_o can_v have_v the_o comfort_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o believe_v that_o they_o be_v chastened_a exercise_v reform_v try_v and_o save_v from_o ruin_n and_o destruction_n by_o the_o immediate_a hand_n of_o god_n their_o heavenly_a father_n unless_o that_o they_o have_v this_o faith_n they_o can_v have_v the_o comfort_n of_o the_o spirit_n we_o must_v have_v also_o steadfast_a hope_n whereby_o we_o must_v not_o doubt_v but_o that_o god_n in_o his_o mercy_n and_o in_o his_o good_a time_n shall_v once_o deliver_v we_o from_o all_o our_o tribulation_n cross_n and_o affliction_n which_o by_o his_o chasten_a hand_n and_o in_o his_o love_n he_o have_v lay_v upon_o we_o this_o hope_n come_v of_o faith_n in_o that_o we_o do_v believe_v that_o god_n be_v faithful_a stand_v to_o all_o his_o promise_n and_o able_a to_o perform_v what_o he_o have_v promise_v and_o that_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v we_o to_o be_v tempt_v further_a than_o we_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v and_o that_o this_o hope_n be_v not_o vain_a it_o appear_v by_o that_o which_o god_n himself_o faith_n etc._n psal_n 91.1_o etc._n etc._n for_o as_o he_o hope_v upon_o i_o i_o will_v deliver_v he_o out_o of_o all_o his_o tribulation_n and_o affliction_n after_o his_o steadfast_a faith_n and_o strong_a hope_n there_o follow_v that_o unknown_a and_o exceed_o commendable_a virtue_n patience_n of_o these_o three_o most_o excellent_a virtue_n do_v come_v the_o rejoycement_n of_o
