the_o sun_n be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o that_o which_o now_o be_v in_o the_o sun_n so_o the_o truth_n and_o word_n of_o god_n be_v still_o the_o same_o not_o contrary_a to_o itself_o the_o light_n of_o holy_a truth_n which_o be_v before_o the_o word_n write_v and_o this_o which_o shine_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v the_o same_o and_o therefore_o the_o papist_n be_v yet_o more_o shameless_a when_o under_o pretence_n of_o the_o unwritten_a word_n they_o thrust_v upon_o the_o church_n such_o idle_a forgery_n as_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o word_n write_v as_o if_o light_n can_v we_o shall_v see_v by_o this_o sun_n so_o the_o lord_n who_o can_v have_v give_v we_o knowledge_n without_o a_o word_n preach_v and_o have_v teach_v we_o immediate_o by_o his_o spirit_n be_v please_v to_o set_v up_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o word_n and_o to_o teach_v we_o by_o it_o do_v require_v that_o we_o shall_v learn_v and_o profit_n by_o it_o and_o therefore_o we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o we_o may_v neglect_v the_o word_n because_o god_n can_v teach_v we_o without_o it_o we_o must_v be_v teach_v as_o god_n will_v teach_v we_o and_o not_o as_o he_o can_v but_o will_v not_o god_n he_o on_o the_o other_o side_n though_o the_o branch_n do_v receive_v life_n and_o nourishment_n from_o the_o root_n yet_o it_o want_v refreshment_n from_o the_o shower_n of_o heaven_n so_o those_o fanatical_a dreamer_n be_v to_o be_v condemn_v who_o pretend_v a_o union_n with_o christ_n and_o partake_v of_o his_o spirit_n and_o therefore_o brag_v they_o have_v no_o need_n of_o the_o word_n efficacy_n of_o god_n his_o word_n which_o from_o the_o beginning_n unto_o this_o present_a time_n have_v make_v the_o earth_n thus_o fruitful_a and_o let_v it_o teach_v thou_o to_o rely_v upon_o that_o as_o the_o water_n which_o be_v before_o disperse_v all_o abroad_o upon_o and_o about_o the_o earth_n be_v on_o the_o three_o day_n gather_v into_o one_o store-house_n call_v sea_n so_o the_o light_n which_o be_v before_o diffuse_v through_o the_o huge_a space_n of_o the_o creation_n be_v now_o as_o it_o be_v draw_v together_o into_o one_o body_n of_o the_o sun_n as_o a_o full_a and_o common_a treasury_n consider_v here_o that_o the_o lord_n who_o be_v in_o himself_o infinite_o more_o bright_a than_o the_o light_n itself_o need_v no_o light_n in_o respect_n of_o himself_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v for_o we_o that_o he_o make_v the_o light_n and_o we_o shall_v bless_v he_o for_o it_o so_o in_o regard_n of_o himself_o he_o need_v no_o word_n nor_o revelation_n of_o heavenly_a mystery_n be_v infinite_a in_o all_o knowledge_n and_o wisdom_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v for_o we_o that_o he_o give_v his_o word_n to_o be_v a_o light_n and_o cause_v by_o his_o spirit_n the_o bright_a beam_n of_o holy_a truth_n to_o be_v cast_v abroad_o into_o the_o dark_a world_n therefore_o we_o may_v conceive_v how_o shameful_a our_o sin_n and_o unthankfulness_n be_v that_o we_o must_v be_v entreat_v to_o turn_v our_o eye_n towards_o this_o light_n and_o to_o come_v to_o church_n to_o hear_v the_o word_n whereas_o if_o need_n be_v we_o shall_v beg_v a_o place_n in_o admirable_a workmanship_n how_o much_o more_o in_o the_o whole_a creation_n especial_o consider_v how_o it_o be_v bring_v out_o of_o nothing_o in_o which_o respect_n the_o least_o worm_n be_v a_o witness_n of_o his_o omnipotency_n beyond_o exception_n and_o therefore_o we_o must_v take_v time_n for_o meditation_n on_o the_o creature_n that_o we_o may_v set_v forth_o the_o praise_n and_o glory_n of_o the_o creator_n and_o as_o the_o psalmist_n say_v may_v talk_v of_o all_o his_o wondrous_a work_n that_o the_o heaven_n may_v move_v we_o to_o declare_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o firmament_n may_v provoke_v we_o and_o prevail_v with_o we_o to_o set_v forth_o his_o handiwork_n chap._n iu._n use_v 4._o as_o we_o shall_v admire_v and_o bless_v the_o lord_n for_o the_o whole_a creation_n so_o in_o special_a for_o any_o â—_z by_o which_o we_o receive_v any_o benefit_n remember_v whatsoever_o have_v any_o be_v in_o the_o world_n whereby_o thou_o receive_v any_o wasp_n hornet_n locust_n caterpillar_n yea_o the_o least_o gnat_n or_o whatsoever_o fly_v in_o the_o air_n all_o which_o may_v yield_v we_o much_o matter_n of_o meditation_n and_o admiration_n glorious_o do_v the_o wisdom_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n appear_v in_o the_o little_a bee_n which_o be_v say_v to_o have_v their_o king_n who_o they_o follow_v and_o obey_v which_o out_o of_o many_o experience_n i_o have_v find_v such_o as_o can_v not_o tell_v whether_o christ_n be_v god_n or_o man_n or_o a_o angel_n etc._n etc._n therefore_o there_o be_v need_n that_o the_o plain_a thing_n backward_o in_o good_a duty_n or_o to_o discourage_v he_o from_o a_o sincere_a constant_a course_n of_o obedience_n so_o far_o do_v she_o grievous_o cross_v the_o very_a rule_n the_o true_a end_n and_o original_a institution_n of_o marriage_n again_o so_o far_o as_o she_o help_v he_o forward_o in_o these_o thing_n as_o she_o provokeâ—h_v he_o to_o grow_v in_o grace_n and_o to_o be_v more_o and_o more_o fruitful_a in_o good_a work_n so_o far_o she_o show_v herself_o to_o be_v a_o wife_n even_o a_o wife_n of_o god_n make_v a_o help_n meet_v for_o man_n for_o indeed_o she_o be_v no_o far_o a_o wife_n than_o she_o be_v a_o helper_n again_n so_o far_a as_o by_o her_o wilfulness_n negligence_n or_o wasteful_a riot_n she_o impair_v his_o estate_n so_o far_o she_o fail_v of_o those_o accomplishment_n that_o shall_v go_v to_o the_o make_v up_o of_o a_o wife_n and_o so_o far_o as_o by_o moderate_a care_n diligence_n and_o discretion_n she_o further_v he_o this_o way_n so_o far_o she_o approve_v herself_o to_o be_v a_o true_a wife_n that_o be_v a_o help_n meet_v for_o he_o so_o it_o be_v in_o regard_n of_o his_o true_a comfort_n and_o contentment_n every_o way_n sc_n of_o of_o he_o or_o herself_o 5._o this_o condemn_v the_o pride_n of_o the_o whore_n of_o babylon_n which_o account_v the_o state_n of_o marriage_n pollute_v and_o think_v her_o shaveling_n too_o good_a bright_o and_o perfect_o in_o his_o soul_n without_o all_o spot_n of_o lust_n or_o stain_v of_o corruption_n 6._o in_o that_o nakedness_n itself_o be_v not_o shameful_a until_o naked_a man_n and_o woman_n become_v sinful_a this_o shall_v make_v we_o not_o so_o much_o ashamed_a of_o any_o thing_n as_o of_o sin_n no_o meanness_n of_o condition_n no_o defect_n or_o deformity_n no_o reproach_n of_o lve_v and_o idle_a tongue_n shall_v make_v we_o so_o ashamed_a as_o any_o sin_n against_o god_n for_o shame_n be_v as_o proper_a unto_o sin_n as_o the_o shadow_n to_o the_o body_n and_o we_o may_v call_v shame_n the_o shadow_n of_o sin_n for_o as_o there_o be_v no_o shadow_n without_o some_o light_n yet_o the_o shadow_n come_v not_o from_o the_o light_n but_o from_o the_o body_n so_o shame_n do_v not_o follow_v sin_n without_o some_o light_n to_o discover_v it_o yet_o the_o shame_n come_v not_o from_o the_o light_n but_o from_o sin_n there_o must_v be_v either_o the_o light_n of_o the_o word_n or_o of_o conscience_n or_o nature_n &c_n &c_n to_o discover_v sin_n before_o the_o shame_n of_o it_o which_o be_v its_o shadow_n will_v appear_v and_o therefore_o man_n that_o be_v whole_o in_o darkness_n and_o blindness_n and_o come_v not_o to_o the_o light_n they_o go_v on_o without_o sense_n of_o the_o shame_n of_o
