they_o to_o have_v a_o treasury_n where_o it_o may_v be_v bar_v and_o keep_v safe_a for_o they_o and_o come_v into_o our_o country_n how_o do_v people_n keep_v their_o cattle_n their_o very_a swine_n they_o will_v keep_v they_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v that_o they_o may_v thrive_v and_o be_v for_o their_o gain_n and_o credit_n and_o the_o like_a this_o you_o shall_v find_v common_a but_o go_v among_o these_o people_n and_o how_o be_v their_o heart_n keep_v all_o this_o while_n as_o if_o i_o shall_v come_v into_o one_o of_o your_o house_n and_o find_v it_o very_o neat_a and_o clean_o true_o vehement_a decline_v of_o what_o they_o know_v to_o be_v destructive_a to_o life_n let_v a_o man_n that_o be_v thirsty_a come_v in_o and_o give_v you_o all_o his_o money_n in_o his_o purse_n for_o a_o cup_n of_o beer_n but_o let_v one_o come_v and_o tell_v he_o sir_n that_o beer_n in_o that_o cup_n be_v poison_n that_o man_n will_v drink_v his_o own_o piss_n rather_o than_o that_o shall_v go_v thing_n under_o heaven_n nothing_o so_o hateful_a to_o they_o as_o the_o way_n of_o sin_n and_o three_o it_o will_v appear_v in_o this_o that_o look_v as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o natural_a life_n every_o creature_n as_o it_o belong_v after_o that_o which_o will_v nourish_v it_o and_o declines_z that_o which_o will_v destroy_v it_o so_o if_o they_o must_v come_v to_o the_o part_n they_o will_v part_v with_o all_o other_o good_a thing_n in_o this_o world_n actual_o part_n with_o they_o to_o save_v their_o life_n it_o be_v a_o speech_n of_o esau_n and_o have_v his_o birthright_n be_v life_n of_o spiritual_a sense_n immediate_a enjoyment_n or_o the_o life_n of_o faith_n if_o they_o pretend_v to_o a_o immediate_a enjoyment_n of_o god_n without_o the_o intervention_n of_o faith_n believe_v it_o they_o be_v beyond_o the_o apostle_n paul_n that_o profess_v in_o his_o own_o name_n and_o in_o the_o name_n of_o all_o the_o saint_n that_o then_o live_v that_o the_o life_n that_o they_o live_v in_o this_o life_n it_o be_v by_o faith_n and_o not_o by_o sense_n yet_o these_o have_v learned_a that_o they_o be_v beyond_o his_o form_n i_o will_v not_o say_v much_o good_a may_v do_v their_o heart_n with_o it_o but_o poor_a creature_n their_o delusion_n will_v one_o day_n afflict_v they_o object_n but_o if_o they_o say_v no_o we_o grant_v you_o it_o be_v the_o life_n of_o faith_n administration_n of_o christ_n will_n that_o be_v carry_v on_o in_o ordinance_n and_o no_o other_o way_n i_o know_v sure_o i_o be_o the_o scripture_n be_v silent_a in_o it_o therefore_o friend_n for_o such_o as_o be_v concern_v in_o it_o they_o will_v not_o be_v here_o to_o hear_v it_o nor_o any_o where_o else_o they_o count_v it_o a_o folly_n but_o to_o your_o sober_a christian_n that_o desire_v to_o go_v to_o heaven_n and_o to_o walk_v with_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o own_o way_n give_v i_o leave_v to_o say_v this_o therefore_o i_o confess_v our_o division_n and_o subdivision_n in_o other_o matter_n of_o religion_n be_v very_o sad_a the_o cut_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n a_o piece_n in_o the_o several_a mould_n and_o form_n of_o government_n and_o thereby_o alienate_v their_o in_o preach_v christ_n in_o the_o sacrament_n there_o be_v food_n for_o soul_n and_o if_o we_o can_v look_v aright_o it_o may_v be_v we_o will_v not_o be_v so_o angry_a with_o one_o another_o about_o it_o as_o we_o be_v for_o there_o be_v but_o one_o truth_n and_o we_o pray_v the_o lord_n to_o reveal_v it_o but_o still_o here_o be_v carry_v on_o the_o life_n of_o comfort_n duty_n direction_n and_o all_o that_o faith_n meddle_v with_o that_o the_o lord_n people_n may_v enjoy_v but_o for_o god_n sake_n and_o as_o you_o love_v the_o life_n of_o your_o soul_n watch_v against_o temptation_n that_o will_v take_v you_o off_o from_o the_o word_n that_o the_o scripture_n shall_v be_v nothing_o this_o take_v you_o off_o from_o that_o that_o your_o faith_n whole_o meddle_v with_o for_o if_o you_o can_v say_v i_o believe_v god_n for_o such_o a_o thing_n and_o christ_n for_o such_o a_o thing_n unless_o you_o find_v it_o promise_v in_o the_o word_n it_o be_v presumption_n therefore_o pity_v such_o poor_a soul_n your_o own_o experience_n may_v tell_v you_o do_v but_o mark_v they_o general_o they_o that_o live_v above_o ordinance_n see_v whether_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n do_v not_o withdraw_v see_v whether_o the_o lord_n have_v any_o other_o way_n to_o convey_v himself_o to_o they_o than_o what_o he_o have_v hold_v out_o in_o his_o word_n their_o looseness_n folly_n pride_n and_o join_v in_o any_o thing_n else_o that_o be_v naught_o almost_o plain_o show_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v withdraw_v from_o they_o and_o second_o you_o will_v find_v that_o such_o of_o they_o as_o have_v grace_n in_o they_o for_o i_o be_o far_o from_o think_v any_o that_o have_v grace_n can_v be_v under_o such_o a_o temptation_n but_o i_o fear_v not_o but_o the_o lord_n will_v awaken_v they_o again_o though_o they_o be_v asleep_a because_o faith_n must_v be_v the_o navel_n and_o the_o string_n that_o must_v maintain_v they_o here_o but_o this_o i_o do_v not_o intend_v to_o be_v large_a in_o the_o great_a use_n that_o i_o intend_v be_v 4._o to_o all_o the_o lord_n people_n who_o life_n be_v christ_n and_o in_o who_o christ_n do_v live_v i_o will_v endeavour_v in_o the_o rest_n of_o this_o hour_n to_o give_v they_o some_o help_v out_o of_o the_o word_n that_o this_o live_n by_o faith_n may_v be_v better_o know_v to_o the_o lord_n people_n and_o more_o exact_o practise_v than_o it_o have_v be_v hitherto_o and_o if_o the_o lord_n help_v i_o to_o divide_v it_o and_o you_o to_o receive_v it_o i_o will_v not_o fear_v but_o your_o life_n will_v be_v more_o honourable_a to_o the_o lord_n and_o sweet_a to_o yourselves_o than_o it_o have_v be_v and_o there_o be_v but_o two_o thing_n that_o i_o intend_v to_o treat_v upon_o the_o one_o be_v some_o serious_a consideration_n or_o motive_n to_o provoke_v all_o who_o have_v any_o thing_n of_o christ_n in_o they_o that_o they_o will_v study_v this_o art_n of_o live_v by_o faith_n more_o than_o in_o time_n past_a and_o second_o and_o principal_o to_o lay_v out_o of_o the_o word_n the_o true_a directoin_n the_o easy_a and_o the_o ready_a way_n that_o a_o willing_a soul_n may_v take_v to_o be_v build_v up_o in_o it_o for_o encouragement_n to_o provoke_v you_o to_o it_o i_o pray_v think_v of_o these_o thing_n first_o if_o you_o will_v be_v christian_n it_o be_v our_o trade_n and_o the_o way_n of_o our_o livelihood_n we_o have_v no_o other_o mystery_n for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o our_o life_n but_o faith_n that_o be_v clear_a scholar_n may_v live_v by_o their_o wit_n tradesman_n upon_o their_o mystery_n and_o gentleman_n upon_o their_o wealth_n but_o as_o a_o christian_a we_o have_v no_o other_o live_v or_o way_n of_o live_v to_o god_n but_o only_o our_o faith_n now_o because_o it_o be_v our_o life_n and_o our_o trade_n and_o our_o profession_n it_o will_v be_v a_o horrible_a shame_n to_o be_v find_v bungler_n in_o that_o that_o be_v proper_o our_o own_o mystery_n if_o a_o man_n shall_v come_v and_o examine_v i_o a_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o put_v into_o my_o hand_n a_o merchant_n book_n and_o bid_v i_o cast_v up_o such_o a_o account_n and_o i_o can_v not_o this_o be_v no_o shame_n to_o i_o but_o if_o he_o shall_v come_v and_o give_v i_o a_o bible_n and_o bid_v i_o open_v a_o text_n if_o i_o can_v not_o do_v it_o it_o be_v a_o shame_n to_o i_o so_o friend_n have_v you_o the_o right_a skill_n of_o live_v by_o faith_n no_o it_o be_v thy_o trade_n as_o thou_o be_v a_o member_n of_o the_o commonwealth_n or_o one_o of_o the_o army_n thou_o may_v have_v a_o call_v but_o as_o thou_o be_v a_o christian_n which_o be_v thy_o best_a life_n thou_o have_v no_o trade_n but_o to_o live_v by_o faith_n no_o other_o way_n to_o honour_v the_o lord_n nor_o to_o manifest_v the_o life_n of_o christ_n nor_o to_o turn_v all_o thing_n for_o thy_o good_a and_o the_o lord_n glory_n it_o be_v thy_o live_n by_o faith_n must_v do_v it_o what_o a_o horrible_a disgrace_n will_v it_o be_v for_o thou_o to_o be_v find_v ignorant_a of_o it_o second_o i_o tell_v you_o there_o be_v no_o other_o way_n of_o life_n that_o any_o man_n pitch_v upon_o but_o it_o will_v overturn_v all_o these_o thing_n have_v not_o god_n let_v we_o see_v how_o he_o have_v pull_v down_o great_a prince_n and_o king_n have_v he_o not_o let_v we_o see_v a_o thousand_o ten_o thousand_o a_o year_n a_o man_n may_v have_v and_o yet_o live_v to_o see_v they_o all_o bury_v and_o himself_o come_v to_o beggary_n do_v not_o god_n tell_v we_o they_o be_v not_o all_o worth_n our_o study_n
