again_o build_v upon_o ground_n which_o man_n of_o corrupt_a mind_n do_v give_v they_o or_o which_o they_o take_v from_o the_o common_a opinion_n of_o most_o think_v that_o to_o be_v faith_n and_o repentance_n which_o the_o most_o take_v so_o to_o be_v or_o which_o a_o teacher_n fit_a for_o their_o palate_n take_v so_o to_o be_v on_o the_o contrary_a side_n weak_a christian_n oftentimes_o knowledge_n the_o gift_n of_o prayer_n of_o temperance_n etc._n etc._n these_o they_o look_v to_o and_o these_o they_o speak_v of_o though_o they_o have_v reign_v lust_n within_o in_o their_o heart_n as_o jehu_n come_v see_v my_o zeal_n say_v he_o 2._o king_n 10.16_o he_o do_v not_o say_v come_v see_v my_o pride_n and_o hypocrisy_n but_o my_o zeal_n jehu_n look_v at_o his_o zeal_n and_o so_o from_o god_n word_n for_o so_o far_o only_o they_o receive_v force_n from_o god_n law_n this_o be_v the_o first_o conclusion_n 2._o conclusion_n 2._o the_o commandment_n of_o magistrate_n and_o those_o that_o be_v in_o authority_n lose_v their_o power_n of_o bind_v the_o conscience_n in_o four_o case_n 1._o when_o they_o command_v that_o which_o though_o in_o itself_o it_o be_v not_o simple_o and_o absolute_o sinful_a and_o unlawful_a yet_o it_o do_v put_v we_o upon_o a_o necessity_n of_o sin_v as_o for_o example_n if_o a_o magistrate_n command_v single_a life_n to_o all_o minister_n this_o thing_n be_v not_o in_o itself_o simple_o unlawful_a for_o it_o be_v lawful_a to_o marry_v and_o it_o be_v lawful_a not_o to_o marry_v yet_o this_o commandment_n be_v unlawful_a because_o it_o will_v put_v minister_n upon_o a_o necessity_n of_o sin_v the_o reason_n be_v because_o all_o have_v not_o this_o power_n and_o therefore_o such_o a_o commandment_n as_o this_o will_v not_o bind_v conscience_n for_o the_o conscience_n can_v be_v bind_v to_o impurity_n or_o a_o apparent_a danger_n of_o impurity_n and_o therefore_o though_o the_o thing_n be_v not_o simple_o unlawful_a yet_o the_o commandment_n be_v simple_o unlawful_a and_o do_v not_o bind_v conscience_n the_o apostle_n make_v such_o a_o commandment_n to_o argue_v a_o sear_a conscience_n in_o the_o commander_n and_o therefore_o none_o but_o a_o sear_a conscience_n can_v think_v it_o be_v bind_v by_o it_o 1._o tim._n 4.2_o 3._o 2._o the_o commandment_n of_o magistrate_n lose_v their_o power_n of_o bind_v the_o conscience_n when_o they_o command_v thing_n that_o be_v unlawful_a in_o themselves_o and_o contrary_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n in_o this_o case_n they_o do_v not_o bind_v conscience_n because_o god_n seal_n be_v not_o on_o they_o we_o have_v a_o example_n of_o this_o in_o the_o three_o bless_a child_n 3.16_o who_o when_o the_o king_n command_v they_o to_o worship_v the_o image_n that_o he_o have_v set_v up_o they_o do_v not_o conceive_v themselves_o bind_v in_o conscience_n to_o obey_v they_o will_v rather_o suffer_v torment_n then_o obey_v it_o so_o also_o daniel_n when_o he_o be_v command_v not_o to_o ask_v any_o petition_n of_o god_n for_o thirty_o day_n space_n but_o only_o of_o the_o king_n daniel_n do_v not_o conceive_v himself_o bind_v in_o conscience_n nay_o he_o choose_v rather_o to_o be_v cast_v into_o the_o den_n of_o lion_n then_o obey_v 6.16_o in_o this_o case_n the_o answer_n of_o the_o apostle_n be_v necessary_a who_o when_o they_o be_v command_v not_o to_o preach_v any_o more_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n thus_o they_o answer_v whether_o it_o be_v right_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n to_o obey_v man_n rather_o than_o god_n judge_v you_o 3._o when_o man_n law_n and_o command_n overthrow_v the_o liberty_n of_o christianity_n that_o christian_a liberty_n which_o christ_n have_v purchase_v for_o we_o than_o they_o lose_v their_o power_n of_o bind_v the_o conscience_n but_o here_o i_o must_v tell_v you_o of_o a_o caution_n viz._n that_o this_o liberty_n may_v be_v consider_v in_o a_o double_a respect_n 1._o in_o regard_n of_o itself_o the_o liberty_n itself_o 2._o in_o regard_n of_o the_o exercise_n or_o use_v of_o this_o liberty_n now_o there_o be_v a_o very_a great_a difference_n between_o these_o two_o consideration_n as_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o a_o man_n have_v a_o sword_n and_o a_o man_n wear_v a_o sword_n the_o magistrate_n may_v restrain_v a_o man_n from_o wear_v a_o sword_n at_o such_o or_o such_o a_o time_n though_o he_o do_v not_o take_v his_o sword_n from_o he_o so_o there_o be_v difference_n between_o the_o have_v our_o liberty_n and_o the_o use_v our_o liberty_n there_o be_v a_o liberty_n purchase_v for_o god_n child_n whereby_o all_o thing_n be_v become_v lawful_a unto_o they_o all_o thing_n be_v lawful_a unto_o i_o 14.14_o say_v paul_n 1_o cor._n 6.12_o and_o there_o be_v nothing_o evil_a in_o itself_o he_o speak_v of_o indifferent_a thing_n god_n child_n be_v free_v from_o the_o observation_n of_o meat_n and_o drink_v and_o time_n and_o garment_n now_o whatsoever_o commandment_n be_v make_v by_o the_o magistrate_n contrary_a to_o this_o liberty_n do_v not_o bind_v conscience_n for_o nothing_o can_v bind_v conscience_n when_o christ_n do_v loose_v it_o yet_o there_o may_v be_v a_o restraint_n of_o the_o use_n of_o this_o liberty_n as_o for_o example_n the_o magistrate_n may_v command_v we_o to_o
