patience_n accept_v it_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n and_o conform_v ourselves_o to_o his_o holy_a will_n the_o particular_a example_n which_o must_v comfort_v we_o in_o this_o affliction_n and_o give_v we_o heart_n to_o bear_v it_o with_o patience_n be_v to_o see_v that_o christ_n our_o lord_n be_v unjust_o strip_v of_o all_o his_o clothes_n in_o his_o most_o sacred_a passion_n by_o those_o god_n for_o they_o and_o as_o for_o the_o pain_n and_o torment_n which_o result_v thereby_o upon_o they_o self_n to_o accept_v it_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o almighty_a god_n and_o willing_o to_o be_v content_a to_o suffer_v it_o during_o all_o that_o time_n which_o god_n shall_v think_v fit_a not_o to_o take_v they_o out_o of_o that_o company_n and_o conversation_n of_o the_o wicked_a by_o this_o the_o end_n that_o by_o this_o example_n they_o may_v serious_o endeavour_v to_o endure_v those_o wicked_a and_o perverse_a people_n with_o patience_n who_o they_o may_v chance_v to_o have_v in_o their_o neighbourhood_n their_o house_n their_o family_n and_o their_o society_n so_o do_v saint_n augustine_n advise_v we_o say_v christ_n our_o lord_n have_v one_o among_o his_o apostle_n who_o be_v wicked_a and_o he_o serve_v himself_o well_o of_o that_o wickedness_n first_o by_o comply_v with_o that_o eternal_a ordination_n of_o god_n concern_v his_o passion_n and_o second_o to_o give_v a_o example_n to_o the_o world_n of_o the_o patience_n wherewith_o they_o be_v to_o endure_v wicked_a man_n let_v we_o therefore_o animate_v our_o self_n by_o these_o example_n of_o christ_n our_o god_n
