the_o note_n when_o the_o lord_n expose_v his_o people_n to_o great_a trial_n by_o the_o busy_a diligence_n of_o those_o frog_n or_o by_o the_o violent_a rage_n of_o the_o beast_n and_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n against_o religion_n the_o lord_n than_o call_v his_o people_n to_o behold_v he_o come_v upon_o they_o i_o mean_v upon_o all_o the_o professor_n of_o the_o gospel_n the_o lord_n call_v they_o to_o look_v upon_o he_o come_v at_o they_o or_o come_v to_o they_o as_o a_o thief_n behold_v say_v he_o i_o come_v as_o a_o thief_n when_o do_v he_o say_v so_o when_o these_o frog_n be_v let_v against_o his_o people_n and_o against_o christian_a religion_n and_o they_o that_o maintain_v it_o then_o behold_v i_o come_v as_o a_o thief_n they_o be_v the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n because_o the_o note_n be_v double_a that_o the_o text_n hold_v forth_o i_o must_v be_v brief_a in_o either_o of_o they_o as_o a_o thief_n the_o scripture_n have_v respect_n to_o a_o fourefould_a manner_n of_o a_o thief_n come_v he_o do_v not_o come_v as_o a_o thief_n in_o justice_n or_o robbery_n that_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n can_v be_v capable_a of_o how_o can_v he_o steal_v any_o thing_n from_o we_o which_o be_v not_o his_o own_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o it_o be_v he_o and_o therefore_o in_o that_o sense_n he_o can_v be_v say_v to_o come_v as_o a_o thief_n but_o yet_o as_o a_o thief_n he_o can_v come_v sudden_o and_o he_o can_v come_v secret_o and_o sly_o yea_o and_o he_o can_v come_v also_o violent_o and_o terrible_o as_o a_o thief_n thus_o he_o can_v come_v and_o thus_o he_o be_v describe_v in_o the_o scripture_n to_o come_v which_o though_o some_o think_v it_o to_o be_v at_o the_o last_o judgement_n yet_o i_o can_v so_o conceive_v it_o for_o neither_o to_o justify_v theft_n nor_o to_o condemn_v the_o lord_n it_o be_v not_o the_o lord_n meaning_n but_o make_v account_n of_o this_o though_o the_o lord_n come_v as_o a_o thief_n that_o do_v not_o justify_v theft_n but_o aggravate_v the_o sin_n of_o theft_n if_o a_o thief_n shall_v make_v use_n of_o the_o opportunity_n which_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n put_v into_o his_o hand_n of_o the_o nimbleness_n of_o his_o wit_n and_o the_o authority_n he_o have_v in_o his_o speech_n and_o the_o power_n he_o have_v with_o prince_n i_o say_v that_o man_n that_o shall_v abuse_v such_o thing_n against_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o if_o pilate_n have_v the_o power_n give_v he_o of_o god_n either_o to_o crucify_v christ_n or_o loose_v he_o if_o he_o shall_v abuse_v his_o authority_n in_o put_v christ_n to_o death_n as_o he_o do_v then_o he_o that_o deliver_v i_o unto_o thou_o have_v the_o great_a sin_n but_o thou_o then_o that_o do_v abuse_v thy_o power_n to_o crucify_v i_o shall_v be_v find_v very_o sinful_a in_o the_o end_n so_o that_o that_o will_v not_o excuse_v any_o instrument_n for_o abuse_v the_o power_n for_o such_o a_o end_n if_o god_n raise_v up_o pharaoh_n exod._n 10_o christ_n for_o the_o lord_n be_v righteous_a in_o all_o his_o way_n and_o holy_a in_o all_o his_o work_n psal_n 145.17_o he_o do_v not_o these_o unclean_a spirit_n cardinal_n bishop_n and_o jesuit_n any_o wrong_n but_o even_o as_o the_o seraphim_n cry_v one_o to_o another_o so_o let_v we_o learn_v holy_a holy_a holy_a be_v the_o lord_n of_o host_n the_o whole_a earth_n be_v full_a of_o his_o
