silent_a and_o he_o discover_v the_o benignity_n and_o sweetness_n of_o his_o immense_a charity_n towards_o his_o enemy_n since_o he_o obey_v they_o who_o have_v no_o right_n of_o commandment_n over_o without_o offence_n to_o the_o quality_n of_o his_o person_n and_o whereas_o they_o may_v treat_v they_o in_o better_a term_n they_o proceed_v in_o such_o sort_n as_o to_o show_v little_a estimation_n of_o they_o and_o so_o they_o trouble_v and_o grieve_v they_o and_o especial_o they_o speak_v of_o their_o neighbour_n when_o they_o be_v absent_a in_o word_n which_o show_v they_o make_v little_a account_n of_o they_o and_o thereby_o they_o think_v to_o exalt_v themselves_o &_o to_o make_v themselves_o more_o esteem_v by_o other_o but_o they_o be_v deceive_v for_o in_o that_o they_o do_v not_o custom_n of_o that_o people_n among_o who_o we_o live_v in_o speak_v honourable_o of_o they_o both_o in_o presence_n and_o absence_n in_o this_o sort_n we_o shall_v prevent_v many_o sin_n which_o we_o use_v to_o commit_v for_o want_v of_o observe_v the_o rule_n of_o charity_n we_o shall_v free_v ourselves_o from_o detraction_n and_o murmur_a which_o be_v a_o vice_n through_o which_o a_o man_n contemn_v and_o affront_v his_o neighbour_n speak_v ill_o of_o he_o and_o record_v his_o defect_n and_o fault_n whether_o it_o be_v with_o truth_n or_o with_o falsehood_n but_o howsoever_o this_o be_v a_o vice_n much_o abhor_v by_o almighty_a god_n and_o very_o abominable_a to_o they_o who_o fear_v he_o which_o make_v saint_n paul_n say_v detractor_n who_o be_v abhor_v by_o almighty_a god_n and_o man_n who_o give_v good_a language_n thronugh_v the_o much_o gain_n and_o merit_n which_o they_o get_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o almighty_a god_n and_o in_o they_o also_o who_o hear_v the_o good_a speech_n which_o be_v use_v by_o any_o man_n of_o his_o neighbour_n work_v the_o like_a effect_n for_o thereby_o they_o be_v edify_v and_o induce_v towards_o a_o love_n of_o virtue_n the_o fourteen_o chapter_n how_o we_o be_v to_o exercise_v this_o benignity_n and_o to_o use_v this_o good_a manner_n towards_o they_o who_o use_v we_o ill_o some_o christian_n there_o be_v who_o be_v very_o i_o be_v no_o love_n of_o charity_n but_o a_o love_n of_o interest_n and_o concupiscence_n and_o that_o i_o shall_v fail_v in_o courtesy_n and_o good_a condition_n towards_o another_o because_o he_o fall_v short_a therein_o towards_o i_o be_v not_o the_o virtue_n of_o benignity_n but_o it_o be_v the_o vice_n of_o revenge_n that_o which_o charity_n and_o benignity_n require_v and_o which_o god_n profit_n of_o my_o soul_n and_o the_o edification_n of_o my_o neighbour_n and_o in_o this_o sort_n i_o be_v of_o good_a condition_n and_o show_v courtesy_n towards_o he_o who_o do_v not_o so_o to_o i_o i_o shall_v please_v almighty_a god_n much_o the_o more_o for_o i_o shall_v move_v more_o pure_o for_o the_o love_n of_o he_o and_o shall_v exercise_v more_o virtue_n and_o increase_v merit_n and_o gain_v more_o reward_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n for_o together_o with_o the_o benignity_n which_o i_o shall_v exercise_v by_o carry_v myself_o sweet_o towards_o my_o neighbour_n i_o shall_v also_o exercise_v patience_n and_o humility_n in_o bear_v with_o his_o ill_a condition_n and_o i_o shall_v exercise_v more_o charity_n by_o pardon_v the_o injury_n which_o he_o do_v i_o in_o treat_v the_o presence_n of_o christ_n our_o lord_n as_o hold_v himself_o unworthy_a thereof_o he_o interpose_v the_o ancient_a and_o prime_a man_n of_o the_o jew_n for_o intercessor_n these_o man_n therefore_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o centurion_n desire_v that_o he_o will_v go_v to_o his_o house_n and_o cure_v his_o servant_n instant_o our_o lord_n put_v himself_o upon_o the_o way_n to_o discover_v great_a humility_n in_o not_o presume_v once_o to_o to_o appear_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o christ_n our_o lord_n but_o to_o negotiate_v by_o mean_n of_o the_o jew_n who_o he_o hold_v for_o better_a than_o himself_o and_o by_o those_o word_n he_o also_o show_v a_o great_a faith_n and_o so_o christ_n our_o lord_n have_v hear_v this_o message_n show_v to_o be_v in_o admiration_n to_o see_v so_o great_a faith_n in_o a_o pagan_a soldier_n and_o turn_v his_o countenance_n to_o the_o troop_n of_o jew_n who_o follow_v he_o he_o say_v very_o i_o say_v to_o you_o i_o have_v not_o find_v
