through_o mercy_n free_o and_o not_o upon_o any_o account_n of_o our_o own_o working_n or_o deserve_n and_o if_o we_o can_v deserve_v a_o shower_n no_o nor_o a_o drop_n of_o rain_n from_o the_o cloud_n if_o we_o can_v deserve_v a_o crop_n of_o corn_n from_o the_o earth_n then_o sure_o we_o can_v deserve_v grace_n or_o peace_n from_o god_n or_o eternal_a life_n and_o happiness_n with_o god_n therefore_o how_o shall_v we_o magnify_v and_o admire_v the_o mercy_n and_o free_a grace_n of_o god_n for_o spiritual_a thing_n when_o we_o see_v such_o cause_n of_o magnify_v he_o even_o for_o temporal_a good_a thing_n if_o the_o cloud_n be_v favourable_a to_o we_o it_o be_v of_o mercy_n further_o that_o notion_n may_v be_v well_o improve_v which_o some_o give_v of_o this_o word_n read_v the_o abstract_n by_o the_o concrete_a we_o say_v for_o mercy_n they_o say_v for_o the_o merciful_a that_o be_v for_o the_o liberal_a benign_a and_o merciful_a man_n the_o man_n of_o a_o large_a heart_n to_o dâ—_n good_a god_n cause_v the_o cloud_n to_o come_v sometime_o for_o correction_n usual_o for_o his_o land_n to_o convey_v common_a comfort_n and_o he_o have_v his_o time_n wherein_o he_o cause_v it_o to_o come_v for_o the_o merciful_a that_o be_v in_o special_a favour_n to_o those_o that_o be_v merciful_a and_o good_a and_o gâ—acious_a both_o as_o they_o have_v receive_v grace_n from_o god_n and_o as_o they_o have_v do_v good_a thing_n for_o and_o among_o man_n he_o that_o water_v shall_v be_v water_v also_o himself_o pro._n 11.24_o thus_o you_o see_v the_o threefold_a message_n that_o god_n send_v the_o cloud_n upon_o either_o to_o correct_v man_n for_o their_o sin_n or_o for_o his_o land_n that_o the_o creature_n in_o general_n may_v have_v subsistence_n or_o he_o do_v first_o in_o general_n as_o to_o they_o all_o in_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o 15_o verse_n do_v thou_o know_v when_o god_n dispose_v they_o second_o he_o show_v his_o inability_n as_o to_o particular_n or_o the_o several_a kind_n of_o the_o work_n of_o god_n first_o as_o to_o his_o cause_v of_o the_o light_n to_o shine_v in_o the_o close_a of_o the_o 15_o verse_n second_o as_o to_o his_o weigh_v or_o balance_v of_o the_o cloud_n verse_n 16_o the_o sum_n of_o these_o three_o verse_n together_o with_o the_o two_o next_o which_o follow_v make_v up_o a_o earnest_a exhortation_n that_o job_n consider_v and_o compare_v that_o great_a power_n and_o wisdom_n of_o god_n which_o appear_v &_o shine_v in_o those_o forementioned_a work_n with_o his_o own_o weakness_n and_o insufficiency_n will_v therefore_o humble_v himself_o and_o not_o venture_v any_o further_a to_o contest_v or_o plead_v with_o god_n and_o because_o many_o of_o the_o lord_n providential_a work_n be_v unsearchable_a as_o well_o as_o these_o which_o be_v natural_a therefore_o elihu_n will_v not_o have_v jâ—b_n busy_v himself_o in_o any_o curious_a pry_n into_o those_o which_o concern_v his_o present_a condition_n for_o if_o there_o be_v infinite_a and_o unerring_a wiâ—dom_n temper_v with_o mercy_n and_o justice_n with_o
