miserable_a sinner_n do_v not_o david_n understande_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o sinner_n flesh_n &_o a_o adulterer_n similitude_n and_o a_o shedder_n of_o innocent_a blood_n yea_o know_v he_o not_o also_o that_o he_o be_v punish_v for_o his_o sin_n yes_o very_o he_o do_v and_o therefore_o he_o call_v for_o mercy_n which_o he_o that_o know_v not_o the_o heaviness_n and_o multitude_n of_o sin_n can_v in_o no_o wise_n do_v but_o most_o common_o do_v despise_v mercy_n when_o it_o be_v offer_v or_o at_o the_o least_o the_o man_n that_o feel_v not_o the_o burden_n of_o sin_n light_o regard_v god_n himself_o be_v first_o seek_v and_o that_o we_o desire_v neither_o life_n neither_o health_n to_o the_o hindrance_n of_o god_n glory_n nor_o to_o the_o hurt_n or_o destruction_n of_o other_o our_o brethren_n but_o rather_o that_o by_o we_o god_n glory_n may_v be_v promote_v &_o that_o other_o our_o brethren_n by_o our_o strength_n health_n and_o life_n may_v be_v comfort_v and_o defend_v these_o precedent_n now_o right_o observe_v it_o be_v no_o sin_n earnest_o to_o ask_v at_o god_n health_n of_o body_n albeit_o we_o know_v our_o sickness_n to_o be_v the_o very_a hand_n of_o god_n punish_v or_o correct_v our_o former_a evil_a life_n this_o i_o write_v because_o some_o be_v so_o severe_a that_o they_o will_v not_o that_o we_o shall_v ask_v bodily_a health_n of_o god_n because_o the_o sickness_n be_v send_v to_o we_o by_o he_o but_o such_o man_n do_v not_o righteous_o understande_v neither_o yet_o consider_v that_o sickness_n be_v a_o trouble_n to_o the_o body_n and_o that_o god_n command_v we_o to_o call_v for_o his_o help_n in_o our_o trouble_n sure_o our_o submission_n and_o prayer_n in_o such_o extremity_n be_v the_o great_a glory_n that_o we_o can_v give_v unto_o god_n for_o so_o do_v we_o think_v that_o his_o mercy_n abound_v above_o his_o judgement_n and_o so_o we_o be_v bold_a to_o pray_v for_o the_o withdraw_n of_o his_o scourge_n we●_n which_o petition_v no_o doubt_n he_o must_v grant_v for_o so_o he_o promise_v by_o jeremy_n his_o prophet_n say_v if_o i_o have_v speak_v against_o any_o nation_n or_o city_n say_v that_o i_o will_v destroy_v it_o and_o high_a and_o haughty_a mind_n and_o again_o upon_o her_o submission_n and_o at_o the_o prayer_n of_o moses_n she_o short_o be_v restore_v to_o health_n but_o to_o proceed_v david_n moreover_o pray_v repentance_n express_v forth_o those_o sob_n and_o groan_n as_o also_o the_o desire_n he_o have_v to_o be_v restore_v to_o that_o comfort_n and_o consolation_n which_o sometime_o he_o have_v feel_v by_o the_o familiarity_n which_o he_o have_v with_o god_n al_n these_o motion_n i_o say_v be_v the_o operation_n of_o god_n holy_a spirit_n and_o yet_o david_n can_v perceive_v no_o consort_n nor_o presence_n of_o god_n in_o that_o his_o trouble_n but_o lamentable_o complain_v as_o before_o you_o have_v hear_v hereof_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o the_o very_o elect_a sometime_o be_v
