wherein_o the_o vanity_n of_o riches_n be_v touch_v and_o the_o revelation_n and_o reward_n of_o man_n work_n be_v promise_v make_v we_o o_o lord_n to_o remember_v our_o end_n whereunto_o all_o man_n by_o nature_n must_v come_v then_o shall_v we_o never_o do_v amiss_o instruct_v our_o heart_n in_o thy_o godly_a wisdom_n that_o we_o may_v apply_v our_o time_n according_a to_o thy_o holy_a word_n and_o will_n defend_v we_o from_o the_o snare_n of_o our_o wicked_a enemy_n the_o devil_n let_v we_o not_o be_v entangle_v with_o the_o wicked_a mammon_n of_o this_o detestable_a world_n nor_o boast_v ourselves_o in_o the_o multitude_n of_o our_o riches_n for_o they_o and_o we_o shall_v fade_v and_o fall_v away_o as_o the_o fresh_a flower_n that_o keep_v his_o colour_n and_o sweet_a savour_n for_o a_o short_a space_n but_o the_o heat_n of_o the_o sun_n make_v it_o wither_v his_o beauty_n to_o perish_v and_o his_o flower_n to_o fall_v away_o even_o so_o shall_v it_o be_v with_o all_o such_o as_o put_v their_o trust_n in_o their_o riches_n they_o shall_v perish_v together_o with_o their_o abundance_n their_o good_n may_v serve_v they_o here_o for_o a_o short_a space_n but_o no_o man_n can_v with_o money_n win_v his_o brother_n from_o death_n or_o make_v agreement_n unto_o god_n for_o he_o for_o it_o cost_v more_o to_o redeem_v their_o soul_n so_o that_o they_o must_v let_v that_o alone_a forever_o only_o thy_o son_n jesus_n christ_n be_v our_o redemption_n which_o price_n if_o it_o well_o not_o serve_v the_o wicked_a for_o that_o they_o end_n in_o sin_n our_o saviour_n will_v not_o pay_v for_o they_o a_o second_o death_n to_o redeem_v they_o withal_o but_o leave_v they_o to_o be_v torment_v for_o ever_o wherefore_o give_v we_o grace_v lord_n that_o we_o may_v lay_v up_o our_o riches_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o christ_n the_o sure_a treasure_n house_n that_o be_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o poor_a that_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a to_o find_v it_o again_o with_o great_a gain_n when_o we_o depart_v out_o of_o this_o wretched_a world_n so_o shall_v we_o lay_v up_o temporal_a thing_n and_o receive_v again_o eternal_a for_o if_o we_o will_v be_v rich_a in_o good_a work_n and_o ready_a to_o give_v and_o to_o distribute_v we_o shall_v lay_v up_o for_o we_o a_o good_a foundation_n against_o the_o time_n to_o come_v contrariwise_o the_o wicked_a which_o be_v now_o here_o in_o great_a glory_n who_o dwelling_n be_v in_o the_o night_n their_o work_n be_v hide_v and_o appear_v not_o but_o at_o the_o great_a judgement_n when_o christ_n which_o be_v our_o life_n shall_v show_v himself_o then_o shall_v the_o just_a appear_v with_o he_o also_o in_o glory_n then_o shall_v it_o be_v clear_a daylight_n all_o man_n work_n shall_v appear_v as_o they_o be_v the_o tree_n that_o in_o the_o winter_n show_v no_o freshness_n shall_v then_o receive_v sap_n from_o the_o root_n &_o appear_v beautiful_a where_o the_o flower_n and_o herb_n that_o be_v in_o sight_n pleasant_a for_o a_o while_n shall_v wither_v away_o and_o fall_v then_o shall_v the_o strength_n of_o the_o wicked_a consume_v hell_n shall_v be_v their_o dwell_n in_o perpetual_a mourn_n thus_o will_v
lead_v and_o now_o begin_v to_o frame_v a_o new_a spiritual_a godly_a life_n build_v the_o house_n of_o our_o soul_n on_o the_o sure_a rock_n which_o be_v thy_o son_n jesus_n christ_n rest_v in_o he_o pass_v far_o the_o capacity_n of_o all_o thy_o creature_n to_o comprehend_v but_o thou_o full_a wise_o have_v wrought_v all_o thing_n by_o the_o same_o wisdom_n that_o have_v be_v with_o thou_o before_o any_o thing_n be_v create_v and_o before_o all_o time_n by_o the_o which_o thou_o have_v number_v the_o sand_n of_o the_o sea_n the_o drop_n of_o rain_n the_o day_n of_o time_n by_o it_o have_v thou_o measure_v the_o height_n of_o heaven_n the_o breadth_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o déepenesse_n of_o the_o sea_n this_o wisdom_n be_v thy_o very_a son_n our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n the_o second_o person_n in_o trinity_n he_o be_v the_o power_n in_o who_o be_v hide_v all_o the_o treasure_n of_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n by_o he_o have_v thou_o wrought_v the_o work_n of_o our_o redemption_n and_o deliver_v we_o from_o eternal_a damnation_n and_o although_o thou_o be_v sometime_o angry_a with_o we_o for_o our_o wickedness_n yet_o nevertheless_o if_o we_o call_v upon_o thou_o in_o thy_o son_n name_n thou_o will_v show_v we_o mercy_n for_o it_o be_v thy_o nature_n and_o his_o to_o be_v merciful_a lord_n keep_v our_o enemy_n far_o from_o we_o let_v he_o not_o devour_v those_o for_o who_o redemption_n and_o salvation_n thou_o vouchsafe_v to_o send_v thy_o most_o entire_o belove_a son_n to_o suffer_v death_n and_o passion_n bring_v they_o also_o we_o humble_o beseech_v thou_o into_o the_o true_a faith_n of_o thy_o holy_a church_n that_o they_o may_v know_v thou_o and_o he_o who_o thou_o have_v send_v for_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o world_n that_o there_o may_v be_v on_o both_o sort_n one_o shepherd_n and_o one_o flock_n send_v we_o all_o most_o merciful_a father_n thy_o gracious_a favour_n and_o open_v thy_o liberal_a hand_n and_o fill_v we_o all_o with_o thy_o goodness_n hide_v not_o thy_o face_n from_o we_o for_o our_o offence_n o_o send_v forth_o good_a lord_n thy_o sweet_a breath_n upon_o we_o make_v we_o new_a again_o that_o we_o may_v leave_v our_o old_a naughtiness_n and_o become_v new_a creature_n we_o acknowledge_v ourselves_o to_o be_v dust_n and_o ash_n send_v therefore_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n to_o renew_v our_o soul_n make_v it_o conformable_a to_o thy_o image_n according_a as_o thou_o do_v first_o create_v it_o which_o through_o sin_n we_o have_v make_v very_o foul_a and_o deform_a then_o shall_v we_o give_v glory_n unto_o thy_o majesty_n which_o endure_v for_o ever_o and_o thy_o kingdom_n from_o one_o generation_n to_o another_o world_n without_o end_n amen_n 47._o a_o prayer_n wherein_o be_v show_v do_v abhor_v the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o ungodlie_a but_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o righteous_a be_v acceptable_a unto_o thou_o and_o whosoever_o follow_v righteousness_n he_o thou_o do_v love_n the_o fear_n of_o thou_o o_o lord_n god_n be_v a_o well_o of_o life_n and_o the_o right_a way_n to_o avoid_v the_o snare_n of_o death_n for_o thou_o preserve_v the_o welfare_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o defende_v they_o that_o walk_v innocent_o and_o kéepe_a they_o in_o the_o right_a path_n preserve_v still_o the_o way_n of_o thy_o saint_n and_o never_o suffer_v their_o soul_n to_o feel_v hunger_n but_o give_v they_o long_a life_n as_o for_o the_o ungodlie_a thou_o put_v he_o from_o his_o desire_n shorten_v his_o year_n with_o grief_n lord_n grant_v i_o therefore_o to_o put_v my_o trust_n in_o with_o thy_o most_o precious_a blood_n and_o make_v i_o one_o with_o thou_o as_o thou_o and_o thy_o heavenly_a father_n art_n one_o and_o as_o thou_o overcame_v so_o grant_v i_o to_o overcome_v all_o the_o temptation_n of_o the_o devil_n that_o i_o may_v be_v a_o pillar_n in_o the_o temple_n of_o my_o god_n and_o sit_v with_o thou_o on_o thy_o seat_n as_o thou_o have_v promise_v to_o all_o that_o
