that_o so_o many_o correction_n so_o long_o continue_v shall_v ever_o be_v pardon_v here_o the_o soul_n sink_v down_o in_o desperate_a discouragement_n now_o there_o be_v none_o but_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o can_v let_v a_o light_n into_o the_o soul_n there_o be_v none_o but_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o can_v rend_v and_o pluck_v and_o pull_v a_o poor_a faint_a despair_a die_a of_o those_o that_o have_v it_o for_o if_o every_o man_n by_o nature_n be_v dead_a in_o sin_n and_o have_v no_o good_a of_o himself_o and_o can_v receive_v no_o good_a but_o rather_o oppose_v it_o then_o if_o he_o have_v any_o save_a work_n wrought_v in_o he_o it_o be_v god_n free_a gift_n therefore_o first_o the_o lord_n meet_v with_o a_o poor_a sinner_n and_o reveal_v himself_o to_o he_o before_o he_o be_v aware_a of_o it_o as_o many_o a_o man_n haply_o drop_v into_o the_o congregation_n or_o fall_v into_o a_o house_n where_o there_o be_v conference_n and_o mercy_n and_o grace_n draw_v out_o by_o distillation_n and_o a_o excellent_a oil_n by_o alchemy_n and_o this_o water_n and_o oil_n be_v in_o the_o creature_n before_o but_o they_o be_v not_o see_v to_o be_v there_o before_o but_o they_o be_v of_o wonderful_a force_n and_o strength_n when_o they_o be_v distil_v so_o it_o be_v with_o the_o daily_o pore_v settle_v and_o attend_v upon_o a_o man_n distemper_n a_o and_o conduit_n and_o though_o it_o run_v out_o daily_o it_o enlarge_v itself_o daily_o so_o with_o the_o lord_n there_o be_v a_o fountain_n of_o life_n if_o there_o be_v a_o fountain_n of_o death_n in_o thy_o soul_n in_o regard_n of_o thy_o sin_n to_o kill_v thou_o so_o a_o fountain_n in_o god_n to_o quicken_v thou_o hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o lord_n speak_v of_o his_o mercy_n call_v it_o the_o exceed_a riches_n of_o his_o mercy_n ephes_n 2.7_o i_o say_v the_o lord_n have_v not_o only_a fullness_n of_o mercy_n but_o he_o be_v rich_a in_o all_o his_o fullness_n nay_o he_o man_n in_o all_o the_o misery_n that_o can_v befall_v he_o but_o this_o be_v another_o thing_n consider_v mercy_n be_v able_a to_o make_v thou_o partake_v in_o the_o same_o mercy_n god_n do_v not_o leave_v thou_o to_o thyself_o that_o thou_o shall_v buy_v it_o and_o purchase_v it_o and_o buy_v it_o and_o procure_v it_o but_o mercy_n be_v able_a to_o suffice_v thy_o soul_n that_o thou_o may_v be_v refresh_v thereby_o this_o be_v the_o tenor_n of_o mercy_n god_n require_v of_o a_o man_n that_o he_o shall_v believe_v now_o mercy_n do_v help_v to_o perform_v the_o duty_n command_v the_o beforehand_o and_o when_o thou_o have_v get_v this_o lesson_n of_o contrition_n and_o humiliation_n look_v only_o to_o god_n mercy_n and_o the_o riches_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o be_v sure_a as_o you_o take_v out_o this_o lesson_n take_v it_o not_o out_o by_o half_n for_o than_o you_o wrong_v mercy_n and_o yourselves_o too_o if_o you_o think_v that_o bare_a work_n will_v serve_v and_o that_o be_v all_o no_o no_o mercy_n will_v rule_v you_o therefore_o take_v all_o the_o lesson_n out_o and_o then_o the_o heart_n will_v be_v cheer_v and_o thy_o soul_n in_o some_o measure_n enable_v to_o come_v on_o to_o the_o lord_n and_o will_v see_v some_o glimpse_n of_o consolation_n from_o the_o spirit_n quest_n 2_o we_o see_v the_o lesson_n what_o must_v be_v learn_v now_o we_o must_v see_v not_o say_v we_o take_v a_o advocate_n with_o a_o advocate_n that_o do_v not_o plead_v with_o himself_o the_o reason_n be_v god_n the_o father_n be_v direct_o offend_v though_o all_o the_o person_n in_o the_o trinity_n be_v offend_v yet_o the_o father_n more_o direct_o now_o he_o that_o be_v direct_o offend_v favour_n and_o mercy_n must_v come_v from_o he_o to_o the_o party_n that_o do_v offend_v and_o that_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o christ_n especial_o cast_v this_o upon_o the_o father_n take_v a_o creditor_n that_o have_v money_n or_o creditor_n that_o be_v bankrupt_n now_o this_o
