generality_n of_o christian_n here_o in_o christendom_n they_o think_v it_o to_o be_v a_o easy_a thing_n to_o believe_v it_o be_v impossible_a for_o any_o man_n or_o woman_n right_o and_o true_o and_o sincere_o to_o believe_v in_o god_n or_o in_o christ_n with_o the_o least_o measure_n of_o true_a save_a faith_n unless_o the_o mighty_a power_n of_o god_n work_v this_o faith_n in_o we_o and_o this_o faith_n begin_v in_o a_o very_a small_a beginning_n it_o be_v first_o sow_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n or_o woman_n as_o a_o grain_n of_o mustardseed_n he_o that_o sow_v it_o will_v make_v it_o indeed_o like_a nathaniel_n in_o who_o there_o be_v no_o guile_n that_o you_o may_v set_v a_o watch_n before_o the_o door_n of_o your_o lip_n say_v the_o apostle_n james_n if_o any_o man_n among_o you_o seem_v to_o be_v religious_a and_o bridle_v not_o his_o tongue_n but_o deceive_v his_o own_o heart_n this_o this_o man_n religion_n be_v vain_a jam._n 1.26_o you_o must_v watch_v over_o your_o will_v become_v of_o thou_o such_o a_o one_o will_v answer_v i_o have_v a_o soul_n that_o may_v be_v save_v but_o i_o will_v put_v the_o question_n further_o what_o assurance_n have_v thou_o that_o thou_o shall_v be_v save_v i_o be_o in_o some_o doubt_n i_o have_v not_o assurance_n of_o my_o salvation_n but_o i_o hope_v to_o be_v save_v then_o i_o may_v ask_v again_o why_o have_v thou_o not_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n there_o be_v something_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o it_o my_o sin_n say_v such_o a_o one_o lie_v at_o the_o door_n there_o be_v something_o within_o that_o will_v let_v thou_o know_v that_o it_o be_v some_o allow_a sin_n or_o iniquity_n that_o thou_o live_v in_o there_o be_v a_o awaken_v conscience_n the_o gift_n that_o god_n have_v give_v to_o man_n that_o will_v reprove_v man_n for_o sin_n though_o sometime_o they_o may_v get_v over_o it_o yet_o sometime_o or_o other_o there_o will_v be_v a_o awaken_n of_o conscience_n that_o will_v make_v they_o cry_v out_o and_o say_v lord_n i_o be_o a_o sinful_a man_n â—_o be_o not_o fit_a to_o die_v i_o be_o not_o prepare_v for_o my_o â—atter_n end_n so_o david_n cry_v out_o lord_n cleanse_v â—e_n from_o my_o secret_a sin_n what_o be_v it_o that_o keep_v man_n in_o doubt_n of_o their_o salvation_n but_o some_o secret_a sin_n or_o other_o when_o a_o man_n come_v to_o be_v awaken_v and_o the_o book_n of_o conscience_n be_v open_v and_o a_o man_n read_v therein_o that_o he_o have_v do_v this_o and_o the_o other_o evil_a thing_n live_v â—o_o and_o so_o then_o humble_a thyself_o under_o the_o mighty_a hand_n of_o god_n and_o he_o will_v exalt_v thou_o in_o due_a time_n and_o speak_v peace_n to_o thy_o soul_n if_o thou_o will_v prove_v all_o thing_n and_o hold_v fast_o that_o which_o be_v good_a live_v according_a to_o what_o thou_o know_v to_o be_v the_o mind_n of_o god_n if_o thy_o own_o conscience_n condemn_v thou_o god_n be_v great_a than_o thy_o conscience_n and_o know_v all_o thing_n we_o must_v direct_v man_n to_o look_v to_o the_o witness_n of_o god_n in_o their_o own_o soul_n thus_o say_v the_o psalmist_n psal_n 4.4_o stand_v in_o awe_n and_o sin_n not_o common_a with_o your_o own_o heart_n upon_o your_o bed_n and_o be_v still_o if_o you_o will_v come_v to_o consider_v your_o way_n and_o common_a with_o your_o own_o heart_n you_o may_v know_v how_o it_o be_v with_o you_o the_o lord_n have_v lengthen_v out_o your_o time_n a_o little_a long_o therefore_o he_o will_v have_v you_o come_v to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n meet_v for_o repentance_n and_o amendment_n of_o life_n and_o be_v concern_v for_o the_o salvation_n of_o your_o immortal_a soul_n ask_v yourself_o this_o question_n be_o i_o fit_a to_o
