and_o which_o be_v worst_a of_o all_o their_o heart_n be_v no_o way_n humble_v for_o the_o same_o poor_a soul_n do_v they_o think_v the_o lord_n will_v be_v beguile_v thus_o think_v they_o that_o the_o lord_n be_v drive_v to_o such_o a_o necessity_n that_o either_o he_o must_v take_v their_o feruice_n or_o not_o to_o be_v serve_v at_o all_o no_o no_o the_o lord_n have_v angel_n and_o saint_n to_o do_v he_o service_n though_o thou_o serve_v but_o for_o his_o justice_n upon_o who_o he_o may_v glorify_v himself_o in_o thy_o everlasting_a confusion_n and_o so_o will_v the_o lord_n be_v glorify_v by_o the_o wicked_a at_o last_o three_o this_o may_v serve_v to_o admonish_v we_o all_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n that_o as_o we_o desire_v to_o be_v hear_v in_o prayer_n and_o to_o avoid_v this_o fearful_a curse_n to_o have_v our_o prayer_n turn_v into_o sin_n that_o we_o lay_v a_o good_a foundation_n with_o this_o penitent_a here_o by_o confess_v our_o sin_n unto_o god_n by_o give_v good_a testimony_n of_o our_o unfeigned_a sorrow_n and_o repentance_n for_o they_o with_o a_o godly_a resolution_n of_o newness_n of_o life_n that_o we_o first_o wash_v our_o hand_n and_o so_o come_v to_o his_o altar_n for_o if_o we_o regard_v wickedness_n in_o our_o heart_n the_o lord_n will_v not_o hear_v us._n sin_n stop_v god_n ear_n that_o he_o can_v hear_v and_o be_v that_o cloud_n that_o hinder_v the_o access_n of_o they_o into_o his_o presence_n now_o what_o can_v be_v more_o uncomfortable_a unto_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n than_o this_o not_o to_o be_v hear_v in_o misery_n when_o satan_n shall_v tempt_v we_o sin_n disquiet_v we_o trouble_v oppress_v we_o death_n affright_v we_o what_o be_v now_o the_o last_o refuge_n of_o a_o poor_a soul_n but_o to_o fly_v unto_o god_n by_o prayer_n now_o alas_o when_o our_o prayer_n shall_v become_v abominable_a and_o turn_v into_o sin_n who_o be_v then_o able_a to_o put_v to_o silence_v the_o voice_n of_o desperation_n and_o on_o the_o contrary_a part_n what_o can_v be_v more_o comfortable_a than_o when_o trouble_n and_o misery_n shall_v corn_n sickness_n and_o death_n itself_o shall_v approach_v that_o we_o may_v have_v free_a access_n unto_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n there_o to_o pour_v out_o our_o soul_n into_o his_o bosom_n the_o very_a thought_n hereof_o comfort_v david_n over_o all_o his_o sorrow_n i_o shall_v say_v he_o find_v trouble_n and_o heaviness_n but_o i_o will_v call_v upon_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n o_o lord_n i_o beseech_v thou_o deliver_v my_o soul_n and_o last_o of_o all_o this_o may_v teach_v we_o how_o to_o esteem_v of_o godly_a and_o righteous_a man_n howsoever_o the_o world_n esteem_v of_o such_o doubtless_o they_o be_v in_o high_a esteem_n with_o god_n they_o be_v the_o lord_n themselves_o and_o other_o be_v in_o grace_n and_o favour_n sure_o howsoever_o the_o world_n do_v judge_v and_o esteem_v of_o god_n people_n there_o be_v not_o a_o wicked_a man_n live_v
but_o fare_v the_o better_a every_o day_n for_o their_o sake_n they_o be_v they_o that_o with_o moses_n and_o aaron_n be_v ever_o and_o anon_o ready_a to_o stand_v in_o the_o gap_n to_o turn_v away_o the_o lord_n wrathful_a indignation_n against_o a_o land_n and_o people_n thus_o much_o for_o the_o general_a instruction_n lord_n remember_v i_o when_o thou_o come_v etc._n etc._n text._n the_o breathe_v etc._n etc._n and_o as_o the_o sap_n in_o the_o root_n be_v secret_a yet_o perceive_v by_o the_o blossom_n and_o fruit_n that_o the_o same_o send_v forth_o even_o so_o be_v that_o spiritual_a life_n in_o the_o soul_n make_v manifest_a by_o the_o bless_a fruit_n and_o effect_n thereof_o such_o as_o be_v affiance_n in_o god_n prayer_n etc._n etc._n now_o the_o faith_n of_o this_o penitent_n be_v admirable_a in_o two_o respect_n respect_n the_o faith_n of_o the_o penitent_a admirable_a in_o two_o respect_n first_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o thing_n believe_v second_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o circumstance_n thereunto_o belong_v which_o make_v the_o same_o so_o much_o the_o more_o admirable_a the_o thing_n he_o profess_v here_o to_o believe_v touch_v christ_n be_v 1_o that_o he_o be_v a_o lord_n 2_o that_o he_o be_v a_o king_n howbeit_o that_o his_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n but_o spiritual_a in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n second_o the_o circumstance_n thereto_o belong_v serve_v much_o to_o commend_v the_o excellency_n thereof_o first_o petitioner_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o petitioner_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o petitioner_n such_o a_o one_o that_o have_v not_o be_v bring_v up_o in_o the_o school_n of_o christ_n but_o rather_o in_o a_o den_n of_o theene_n have_v none_o to_o instruct_v he_o have_v not_o hear_v christ_n heavenly_a
