of_o god_n as_o when_o they_o meet_v together_o in_o battle_n in_o the_o field_n or_o in_o any_o town_n or_o in_o prayer_n or_o at_o a_o marriage_n or_o such_o like_a and_o there_o be_v slay_v murder_a or_o spoil_v &_o in_o all_o other_o such_o like_a occurrent_n and_o thus_o the_o lord_n find_v occasion_n both_o in_o regard_n of_o his_o own_o people_n and_o of_o their_o enemy_n now_o and_o then_o to_o make_v his_o people_n the_o foot_n and_o not_o the_o head_n that_o he_o suffer_v they_o to_o lie_v under_o foot_n and_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o truth_n to_o tread_v upon_o they_o which_o whosoever_o well_o waigh_v and_o consider_v with_o a_o understanding_n heart_n he_o shall_v soon_o perceive_v &_o see_v that_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n of_o doubt_n to_o be_v make_v or_o scandal_n his_o word_n and_o by_o their_o last_o end_n which_o thereupon_o ensue_v the_o ground_n of_o the_o hope_n and_o comfort_n that_o the_o godly_a have_v and_o receive_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o their_o adversity_n and_o trouble_n and_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o fear_n and_o misery_n which_o the_o ungodly_a be_v like_a to_o fall_v unto_o while_o they_o possess_v worldly_a prosperity_n and_o pleasure_n but_o harken_v yet_o further_o what_o the_o lord_n himself_o say_v unto_o his_o servant_n and_o messenger_n touch_v they_o both_o say_v unto_o the_o righteous_a that_o it_o shall_v be_v well_o with_o he_o for_o they_o shall_v eat_v the_o fruit_n of_o their_o do_n woe_n unto_o the_o wicked_a it_o shall_v be_v ill_a with_o he_o for_o the_o reward_n of_o his_o hand_n shall_v be_v give_v behold_v and_o see_v the_o ungodly_a to_o prosper_v so_o much_o in_o this_o world_n and_o the_o godly_a live_v in_o poverty_n and_o adversity_n which_o for_o that_o it_o be_v a_o matter_n of_o great_a importance_n in_o the_o next_o chapter_n i_o will_v more_o at_o large_a open_v the_o same_o unto_o you_o chap._n vii_o that_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n at_o all_o why_o man_n shall_v make_v any_o doubt_n or_o question_n when_o they_o see_v many_o ungodly_a man_n here_o prosper_v in_o the_o world_n and_o diverse_a godly_a man_n live_v in_o poverty_n and_o adversity_n there_o be_v two_o special_a reason_n that_o move_v man_n to_o become_v careless_a and_o licentious_a here_o in_o the_o world_n when_o they_o see_v and_o behold_v how_o it_o fare_v both_o with_o the_o godly_a and_o ungodly_a in_o this_o world_n the_o first_o be_v that_o many_o time_n they_o see_v that_o those_o that_o fear_n god_n be_v in_o great_a misery_n and_o calamity_n and_o the_o ungodly_a prosper_v
and_o abound_v in_o wealth_n this_o many_o man_n can_v brook_v while_o they_o be_v persuade_v that_o it_o stand_v not_o with_o the_o great_a majesty_n of_o the_o godhead_n and_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n to_o deal_v in_o such_o manner_n and_o the_o reason_n be_v because_o they_o look_v upon_o nothing_o but_o the_o outward_a show_n and_o consider_v not_o the_o end_n for_o which_o god_n do_v it_o for_o if_o in_o the_o least_o degree_n they_o do_v but_o think_v and_o remember_v that_o god_n mean_v well_o to_o the_o godly_a and_o that_o their_o oppression_n be_v wholesome_a medicine_n for_o their_o soul_n the_o better_a to_o prepare_v they_o for_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o on_o the_o contrary_a that_o the_o prosperity_n of_o the_o ungodly_a be_v like_o the_o qualeâ—_n to_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n that_o die_v while_o they_o be_v in_o their_o mouth_n than_o they_o will_v present_o see_v and_o perceive_v that_o they_o have_v no_o cause_n to_o doubt_v of_o or_o to_o misconstrue_v and_o stumble_v at_o the_o work_n of_o god_n for_o to_o speak_v the_o truth_n who_o be_v he_o that_o will_v long_o stumble_v at_o or_o think_v it_o strange_a to_o see_v that_o god_n lose_v and_o slack_v the_o bridle_n to_o the_o child_n of_o the_o world_n but_o tuâ—â—reth_v hold_v in_o restrain_v instant_o and_o suffer_v not_o his_o child_n to_o have_v their_o will_n when_o he_o remember_v that_o the_o lord_n do_v it_o to_o his_o child_n to_o the_o end_n that_o they_o may_v become_v the_o more_o spiritual_a and_o better_o prepare_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n do_v we_o not_o the_o like_a in_o matter_n of_o less_o importance_n continual_o in_o our_o house_n to_o our_o child_n we_o suffer_v our_o dog_n that_o weâ—_n breed_v in_o our_o house_n to_o run_v at_o liberty_n loose_a and_o untie_v and_o have_v no_o regard_n what_o they_o do_v nor_o how_o it_o fare_v with_o they_o but_o be_v it_o not_o our_o manner_n to_o look_v narrow_o to_o our_o child_n to_o keep_v they_o short_a to_o teach_v and_o instruct_v they_o and_o why_o do_v we_o so_o but_o only_o to_o bring_v they_o up_o to_o all_o virtuous_a action_n and_o for_o their_o better_a preferment_n so_o that_o it_o be_v to_o a_o special_a end_n that_o we_o have_v so_o great_a a_o care_n of_o our_o child_n which_o in_o no_o wise_a we_o do_v intend_v to_o our_o dog_n but_o let_v they_o run_v where_o they_o list_v the_o word_n of_o god_n therefore_o advise_v we_o to_o cast_v off_o all_o doubt_n and_o fear_n touch_v the_o work_n of_o god_n and_o to_o rid_v we_o thereof_o will_v we_o not_o to_o look_v only_o upon_o the_o outward_a end_n of_o the_o child_n of_o man_n and_o to_o consider_v of_o nothing_o else_o but_o the_o course_n of_o this_o present_a world_n even_o as_o the_o state_n their_o reckon_n at_o home_n in_o their_o house_n so_o it_o stand_v with_o the_o prosperity_n of_o the_o ungodly_a many_o time_n here_o in_o this_o world_n they_o have_v great_a wealth_n and_o abundance_n but_o they_o spend_v upon_o their_o own_o stock_n and_o a_o hard_a reckon_n follow_v after_o it_o whereas_o on_o the_o contrary_a godly_a man_n that_o in_o this_o world_n be_v keep_v short_a and_o spend_v upon_o their_o father_n purse_n whether_o it_o be_v superfluous_o or_o otherwise_o as_o their_o father_n think_v it_o good_a have_v no_o fear_n of_o a_o after_o reckon_v all_o be_v free_o forgive_v they_o thus_o their_o end_n differ_v much_o one_o from_o another_o this_o when_o the_o psalmist_n consider_v although_o before_o touch_v this_o point_n of_o the_o work_n of_o overcome_v they_o this_o be_v the_o point_n that_o produce_v great_a difficulty_n and_o many_o man_n can_v be_v resolve_v how_o it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o the_o servant_n of_o the_o most_o high_a god_n that_o have_v his_o cause_n in_o hand_n that_o be_v jealous_a of_o his_o glory_n and_o fight_v for_o his_o truth_n shall_v be_v overcome_v by_o those_o that_o be_v god_n enemy_n that_o be_o teach_v that_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o outward_a thing_n of_o this_o life_n it_o fare_v almost_o alike_o both_o with_o the_o godly_a &_o ungodly_a therefore_o i_o may_v much_o better_o attain_v
