former_a thing_n or_o else_o they_o be_v rather_o afflict_v for_o trial_n of_o their_o faith_n than_o for_o persecute_v of_o sin_n in_o they_o and_o therefore_o be_v it_o always_o provide_v that_o we_o think_v not_o every_o conflict_n of_o conscience_n continual_o or_o chief_o to_o be_v for_o the_o pursue_v of_o our_o sin_n but_o sometime_o and_o principal_o that_o it_o come_v for_o the_o trial_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o yet_o secondary_o or_o less_o principal_o for_o the_o scorge_n of_o sin_n as_o we_o may_v see_v in_o job._n whereupon_o let_v all_o man_n be_v admonish_v when_o they_o never_o have_v the_o physician_n counsel_v sever_v nor_o the_o minister_n labour_v neglect_v because_o the_o soul_n and_o body_n dwell_v together_o it_o be_v convenient_a that_o as_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v cure_v by_o the_o word_n by_o prayer_n and_o by_o fast_v by_o threaten_v or_o by_o comfort_v so_o the_o body_n also_o shall_v be_v bring_v into_o some_o temperature_n by_o physic_n by_o purge_v by_o diet_n by_o restore_v by_o music_n and_o by_o such_o like_a mean_n provyde_v always_o that_o it_o be_v still_o do_v so_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o wisdom_n of_o his_o spirit_n as_o we_o think_v not_o by_o these_o ordinary_a mean_n to_o smother_v or_o smoke_n out_o our_o trouble_n but_o as_o purpose_v to_o use_v they_o as_o preparative_n whereby_o both_o our_o soul_n and_o the_o body_n through_o some_o extraordinary_a repletion_n have_v get_v some_o great_a surfeit_n not_o so_o much_o to_o the_o weaken_n of_o nature_n as_o to_o the_o threaten_n of_o imminent_a death_n and_o therefore_o require_v rather_o some_o strong_a purgation_n than_o comfortable_a and_o cordial_a medecine_n then_o the_o soul_n also_o be_v bring_v to_o some_o extraordinary_a sin_n be_v rather_o a_o man_n or_o a_o woman_n because_o we_o may_v urge_v more_o careful_o the_o use_n of_o the_o law_n to_o a_o man_n as_o have_v the_o strong_a vessel_n and_o as_o satan_n know_v the_o woman_n to_o be_v most_o easy_a and_o frameable_a to_o be_v wrought_v upon_o at_o his_o first_o temptation_n so_o be_v he_o not_o ignorant_a that_o she_o be_v the_o weak_a party_n to_o sustain_v a_o accusation_n then_o let_v we_o consider_v whether_o they_o that_o be_v thus_o humble_v have_v knowledge_n or_o no_o because_o if_o they_o have_v none_o they_o think_v trouble_v of_o mind_n to_o be_v so_o strange_a a_o thing_n as_o never_o any_o before_o it_o if_o they_o have_v knowledge_n than_o satan_n be_v ready_a to_o accuse_v they_o of_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o though_o any_o sin_n do_v no_o faith_n very_o because_o you_o have_v no_o feel_n nor_o any_o other_o fruit_n thereof_o as_o you_o think_v well_o first_o then_o agree_v with_o i_o herein_o as_o you_o must_v if_o you_o will_v not_o disagree_v with_o the_o truth_n that_o feeling_n be_v but_o a_o effect_n and_o fruit_n of_o faith_n &_o therefore_o there_o may_v be_v faith_n without_o feeling_n aswell_o as_o the_o cause_n season_n be_v deprive_v almost_o of_o all_o operation_n of_o the_o natural_a life_n to_o the_o outward_a show_n of_o his_o own_o indnment_n and_o feeling_n so_o may_v a_o spiritual_a man_n be_v fore_o wound_v by_o satan_n and_o disease_v by_o the_o present_a sight_n and_o feel_n of_o his_o sinful_a corruption_n speal_o in_o temptation_n that_o he_o may_v think_v yea_o appear_v to_o other_o that_o the_o life_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v not_o in_o he_o thus_o peter_n faith_n do_v not_o whole_o fail_v as_o you_o have_v hear_v or_o else_o the_o prayer_n of_o our_o saviour_n prevail_v not_o thus_o when_o david_n in_o the_o one_o and_o fifty_o psal._n the_o twelu_v verse_n declare_v that_o his_o heart_n be_v unclean_a and_o his_o spirit_n crooked_a or_o unstable_a and_o in_o the_o fourteen_o
