three_o viz._n grace_n and_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o reward_n i_o conceive_v they_o contain_v all_o the_o promise_n and_o all_o that_o god_n have_v engage_v by_o the_o new_a covenant_n to_o give_v to_o his_o people_n they_o contain_v also_o all_o that_o god_n have_v command_v and_o enjoin_v his_o people_n and_o require_v of_o they_o and_o they_o contain_v all_o that_o they_o need_v or_o can_v desire_v to_o make_v they_o happy_a here_o and_o hereafter_o and_o there_o be_v no_o petition_n in_o the_o psalm_n of_o david_n or_o in_o any_o prayer_n in_o all_o the_o scripture_n but_o be_v contain_v under_o one_o of_o these_o head_n for_o all_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o saint_n tend_v to_o this_o end_n viz._n the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o promotion_n of_o his_o kingdom_n and_o the_o mean_n thereof_o those_o prayer_n which_o be_v against_o the_o opposite_n namely_o against_o sin_n and_o iniquity_n and_o the_o occasion_n and_o help_v thereof_o and_o against_o every_o degree_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o punishment_n and_o curse_n due_a to_o sin_n and_o sinner_n that_o the_o rod_n of_o the_o wicked_a may_v not_o rest_v upon_o the_o lot_n of_o the_o righteous_a psal_n 125._o these_o be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o the_o former_a for_o the_o overthrow_v pluck_v down_o and_o destroy_v of_o sin_n and_o satan_n kingdom_n and_o the_o tread_v he_o under_o foot_n be_v the_o prepare_v the_o way_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o his_o kingdom_n may_v come_v therefore_o we_o do_v in_o this_o pray_v against_o those_o and_o in_o pray_v against_o those_o we_o pray_v for_o this_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o god_n have_v make_v promise_n according_o of_o subdue_a our_o iniquity_n and_o to_o tread_v satan_n under_o our_o foot_n that_o no_o weapon_n form_v against_o we_o shall_v prosper_v that_o sin_n shall_v not_o have_v dominion_n over_o we_o and_o we_o pray_v for_o the_o performance_n of_o these_o promise_n when_o we_o pray_v the_o second_o petition_n of_o the_o know_v what_o be_v the_o hope_n of_o his_o call_n and_o what_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o inheritance_n in_o the_o saint_n and_o what_o be_v the_o exceed_a greatness_n of_o his_o power_n to_o us-ward_n who_o believe_v according_a to_o the_o work_n of_o his_o mighty_a power_n which_o he_o wrought_v in_o christ_n when_o he_o raise_v he_o from_o the_o dead_a and_o set_v he_o at_o for_o they_o so_o they_o do_v also_o desire_v their_o prayer_n i_o infer_v that_o every_o particular_a christian_a in_o his_o prayer_n must_v put_v in_o suit_n the_o general_a promise_n viz._n that_o all_o her_o people_n shall_v be_v holy_a all_o righteous_a all_o be_v teach_v of_o god_n and_o holiness_n to_o the_o lord_n shall_v be_v write_v upon_o the_o bell_n of_o the_o horse_n they_o who_o they_o show_v forth_o their_o weariness_n of_o they_o and_o burden_n which_o load_v they_o from_o which_o they_o groan_v and_o cry_v to_o be_v ease_v and_o deliver_v by_o god_n because_o they_o be_v privilege_n which_o jesus_n christ_n have_v purchase_v for_o we_o give_v we_o more_o assurance_n of_o the_o pardon_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o our_o reconciliation_n to_o god_n and_o the_o joy_n thereof_o give_v we_o the_o peace_n of_o conscience_n and_o the_o peace_n of_o god_n which_o pass_v all_o understanding_n give_v we_o the_o joy_n which_o be_v in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o we_o enjoy_v in_o holy_a duty_n let_v we_o taste_v and_o relish_v these_o sweet_a enjoyment_n with_o more_o satisfaction_n and_o joy_n that_o the_o excess_n of_o our_o soul_n may_v be_v in_o these_o enjoyment_n and_o we_o may_v keep_v they_o in_o our_o mouth_n and_o hide_v they_o under_o our_o tongue_n as_o we_o do_v sweet_a morsel_n and_o let_v the_o enjoyment_n of_o these_o carry_v we_o
