they_o likewise_o to_o have_v the_o approbation_n of_o the_o tutor_n and_o governor_n of_o the_o king_n child_n and_o of_o those_o that_o attend_v they_o all_o fort_n and_o castle_n to_o be_v put_v into_o the_o hand_n of_o person_n approve_v of_o by_o the_o two_o house_n the_o king_n guard_n and_o military_a force_n to_o be_v discharge_v tho'_o the_o rebellion_n be_v now_o begin_v no_o peer_n create_v in_o time_n to_o come_v to_o sit_v and_o vote_n in_o parliament_n without_o the_o consent_n of_o both_o house_n etc._n etc._n there_o will_v need_v no_o other_o descant_n upon_o these_o proposition_n be_v so_o gross_a in_o themselves_o but_o only_a the_o cite_v of_o some_o passage_n out_o of_o his_o late_a majesty_n answer_n in_o reflection_n upon_o they_o these_o demand_n say_v the_o late_a king_n be_v of_o that_o nature_n 316._o that_o to_o grant_v they_o be_v in_o effect_n at_o once_o to_o depose_v both_o ourselves_o and_o our_o posterity_n these_o thing_n be_v past_a we_o may_v be_v wait_v upon_o bareheaded_a we_o may_v have_v our_o hand_n kiss_v the_o style_n of_o majesty_n continue_v to_o we_o and_o the_o king_n authority_n declare_v by_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n may_v be_v still_o the_o style_n of_o your_o command_n we_o may_v have_v sword_n and_o mace_n carry_v before_o we_o and_o please_v ourselves_o with_o the_o sight_n of_o a_o crown_n and_o sceptre_n and_o yet_o even_o these_o twig_n will_v not_o long_o flourish_v when_o the_o stock_n upon_o which_o they_o grow_v be_v dead_a but_o as_o to_o true_a and_o real_a power_n we_o shall_v remain_v but_o the_o outside_o but_o the_o picture_n but_o the_o sign_n of_o a_o king_n etc._n etc._n and_o again_o tho'_o we_o shall_v always_o weigh_v the_o advice_n both_o of_o our_o great_a and_o privy-councel_n with_o the_o proportionable_a consideration_n due_a to_o they_o yet_o we_o shall_v also_o look_v upon_o their_o advice_n as_o advice_n not_o as_o command_n or_o imposition_n upon_o they_o as_o our_o counsellor_n not_o as_o our_o tutor_n and_o guardian_n and_o upon_o ourselves_o as_o their_o king_n not_o as_o their_o pupil_n or_o ward_n pag._n 318._o and_o further_n pag._n 320._o we_o call_v god_n to_o witness_n that_o as_o for_o our_o subject_n sake_n these_o right_n be_v vest_v in_o we_o so_o for_o their_o sake_n as_o well_o as_o for_o our_o own_o we_o be_v resolve_v not_o that_o all_o be_v do_v by_o they_o but_o not_o for_o they_o will_v at_o last_o grow_v weary_a of_o journeywork_n and_o set_v up_o for_o themselves_o call_v parity_n and_o independence_n liberty_n devour_v the_o estate_n which_o have_v devour_v the_o rest_n destroy_v all_o right_n and_o propriety_n all_o distinction_n of_o family_n and_o merit_n and_o by_o this_o mean_v the_o splendid_a and_o excellently-distinguished_a form_n of_o government_n end_n in_o a_o dark_a equal_a chaos_n of_o confusion_n and_o the_o long_a line_n of_o our_o many_o noble_a ancestor_n in_o a_o jack_n cade_n or_o a_o wat_n tiler_n after_o the_o mockery_n of_o the_o abovementioned_a proposition_n and_o the_o king_n just_a and_o prophetical_a judgement_n make_v upon_o they_o we_o shall_v only_o add_v that_o the_o ruin_n of_o the_o late_a king_n design_v be_v as_o certain_o the_o intent_n of_o those_o vndutiful_a demand_n as_o it_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o they_o in_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o power_n claim_v thereby_o and_o we_o may_v as_o reasonable_o conclude_v that_o the_o same_o pretension_n now_o over_o again_o be_v publish_v with_o the_o same_o end_n and_o that_o the_o sufferance_n of_o this_o licence_n will_v natural_o run_v into_o the_o same_o consequence_n for_o the_o whole_a work_n of_o move_v a_o rebellion_n be_v but_o first_o to_o possess_v the_o people_n
