according_a to_o your_o lordship_n last_o answer_n so_o also_o see_v his_o majesty_n require_v not_o that_o your_o lordship_n shall_v neither_o can_v your_o lordship_n judge_n of_o the_o law_n and_o proceed_n of_o another_o independent_a kingdom_n and_o the_o parliament_n of_o england_n offer_v to_o give_v all_o satisfaction_n concern_v any_o message_n or_o paper_n send_v to_o your_o lordship_n anent_o their_o proceed_n that_o your_o lordship_n will_v be_v please_v careful_o to_o shun_v all_o offer_n of_o verbal_a or_o real_a ingadgement_n either_o direct_o or_o by_o way_n of_o inference_n without_o consent_n of_o the_o parliament_n conform_v to_o the_o treaty_n which_o either_o may_v give_v any_o just_a occasion_n of_o offence_n to_o their_o gracious_a sovereign_n or_o of_o jealous_o to_o their_o brethren_n in_o england_n or_o of_o discourse_n unto_o any_o as_o if_o your_o lordship_n do_v not_o observe_v that_o former_a rule_n of_o equity_n press_v by_o themselves_o during_o the_o time_n of_o your_o trouble_n to_o do_v to_o other_o as_o they_o will_v be_v do_v to_o themselves_o but_o do_v fall_v in_o the_o same_o fault_n which_o your_o lordship_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o estate_n of_o this_o kingdom_n have_v condemn_v in_o the_o council_n of_o england_n and_o for_o this_o effect_n they_o can_v but_o remember_v your_o lordship_n that_o according_a to_o a_o article_n of_o the_o treaty_n there_o be_v appoint_v a_o commission_n all_o be_v independent_a as_o any_o other_o of_o so_o many_o of_o every_o estate_n represent_v the_o whole_a kingdom_n to_o prevent_v all_o occasion_n of_o division_n betwixt_o their_o kingdom_n in_o the_o interim_n betwixt_o parliament_n all_o which_o they_o humble_o represent_v to_o your_o lordship_n wise_a consideration_n and_o expect_v from_o your_o lordship_n so_o gracious_a a_o answer_n as_o may_v satisfy_v their_o present_a fear_n and_o secure_v they_o from_o these_o danger_n in_o this_o interim_n betwixt_o parliament_n and_o thereby_o prevent_v all_o necessity_n of_o petition_n of_o this_o kind_n which_o supplication_n be_v read_v hear_v and_o consider_v by_o the_o say_a lord_n and_o they_o find_v the_o same_o to_o contain_v matter_n of_o public_a concernment_n and_o of_o that_o importance_n that_o require_v mature_a deliberation_n therefore_o they_o continue_v the_o answer_n of_o this_o petition_n till_o the_o morn_n and_o ordain_v the_o whole_a counsellor_n in_o town_n to_o be_v warn_v to_o attend_v the_o council_n the_o morn_n at_o twa_fw-mi hour_n afternoon_n the_o act_n of_o the_o secret_a council_n of_o scotland_n upon_o the_o above_o write_v petition_n apud_fw-la edenbur_fw-la primo_fw-la junii_fw-la anno_fw-la dom_fw-la millessimo_fw-la sexcentessimo_fw-la quadragessimo_fw-la secundo_fw-la the_o lord_n of_o secret_a counsel_n have_v again_o read_v the_o petition_n above_o write_v declare_v that_o they_o will_v have_v consideration_n thereof_o and_o as_o they_o be_v most_o tender_a and_o sensible_a of_o whatsoever_o may_v concern_v his_o majesty_n person_n honour_n and_o authority_n so_o will_v they_o have_v a_o special_a care_n not_o to_o do_v any_o thing_n contrary_a to_o the_o late_a treaty_n or_o which_o may_v infringe_v the_o union_n and_o peace_n or_o weaken_v the_o confidence_n betwixt_o their_o twa_fw-mi kingdom_n so_o happy_o establish_v in_o his_o majesty_n a_o petition_n of_o another_o strain_n present_v only_o by_o two_o nobleman_n and_o two_o gentleman_n pretend_v to_o be_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o nobility_n gentry_n minister_n and_o commons_o of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o scotland_n wherewith_o the_o lord_n of_o his_o majesty_n privy_a council_n be_v so_o high_o offend_v that_o they_o will_v neither_o suffer_v it_o to_o be_v register_v in_o
