fit_a to_o recommend_v to_o your_o especial_a care_n the_o prevent_v they_o as_o far_o as_o in_o you_o lie_v especial_o the_o ensue_a holiday_n at_o which_o the_o idleness_n of_o many_o may_v make_v they_o apt_a to_o such_o disorder_n we_o have_v think_v fit_a likewise_o to_o let_v you_o know_v that_o we_o be_v so_o well_o assure_v of_o the_o good_a affection_n of_o our_o city_n of_o london_n by_o the_o great_a expression_n which_o it_o have_v make_v unto_o we_o of_o they_o of_o late_a that_o we_o can_v in_o no_o wise_a understand_v it_o to_o have_v any_o share_n in_o the_o fault_n of_o these_o tumult_n and_o distemper_n but_o that_o they_o proceed_v mere_o from_o the_o mean_a and_o unruly_a people_n of_o the_o suburb_n and_o as_o we_o be_v most_o confident_a of_o the_o heart_n and_o good_a affection_n of_o our_o city_n of_o london_n towards_o we_o and_o our_o government_n and_o will_v not_o entertain_v any_o other_o opinion_n so_o we_o do_v desire_v they_o not_o to_o be_v disturb_v by_o any_o jealousy_n that_o ill-affected_a person_n may_v endeavour_v to_o sow_v but_o to_o rest_v most_o confident_a and_o assure_v that_o the_o safety_n the_o protection_n and_o the_o prosperity_n of_o the_o city_n shall_v ever_o be_v with_o we_o a_o principal_a care_n after_o the_o read_n of_o which_o most_o gracious_a message_n whereby_o be_v full_o manifest_v and_o express_v his_o majesty_n gracious_a goodness_n and_o great_a care_n for_o the_o safety_n and_o prosperity_n of_o this_o city_n the_o lord_n newburgh_n have_v withdraw_v himself_o this_o common-council_n take_v the_o same_o into_o their_o serious_a consideration_n and_o how_o for_o the_o present_a to_o return_v by_o this_o honourable_a person_n unto_o his_o majesty_n a_o answer_n with_o all_o humility_n and_o thankfulness_n and_o after_o much_o debate_n it_o be_v full_o agree_v and_o resolve_v of_o by_o this_o common-council_n that_o in_o the_o first_o place_n shall_v be_v return_v and_o render_v unto_o his_o majesty_n from_o this_o common_a council_n as_o the_o representative_a body_n of_o the_o whole_a city_n their_o humble_a duty_n in_o the_o thankful_a manner_n for_o his_o goodness_n and_o gracious_a love_n and_o care_v manifest_v to_o this_o city_n second_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v signify_v unto_o his_o majesty_n this_o court_n nor_o any_o particular_a member_n thereof_o have_v have_v any_o hand_n in_o these_o tumultuous_a and_o riotous_a proceed_n and_o that_o they_o and_o every_o of_o they_o do_v disavow_v and_o disclaim_v the_o same_o three_o that_o it_o may_v be_v likewise_o that_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v by_o his_o lordship_n according_o present_v unto_o his_o majesty_n the_o which_o he_o promise_v to_o perform_v with_o trust_n and_o afterward_o this_o court_n enter_v into_o further_a consultation_n and_o debate_n touch_v the_o tumultuous_a and_o riotous_a assembly_n late_o spread_v night_n and_o day_n in_o several_a part_n of_o the_o city_n to_o the_o great_a trouble_n and_o affrightment_n of_o his_o majesty_n good_a subject_n and_o also_o touch_v the_o great_a neglect_n of_o that_o due_a respect_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v give_v by_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o this_o city_n to_o the_o several_a precept_n late_o issue_v out_o by_o my_o lord_n major_a for_o a_o continual_a watch_n and_o ward_n day_n and_o night_n for_o prevention_n and_o suppression_n of_o such_o tumult_n and_o distemper_n and_o likewise_o touch_v the_o great_a neglect_n in_o appearance_n of_o the_o trance_v band_n of_o this_o city_n to_o their_o colour_n at_o the_o beat_v of_o the_o drum_n especial_o in_o these_o time_n of_o danger_n in_o contempt_n of_o authority_n be_v a_o matter_n of_o exceed_v great_a consequence_n and_o not_o fit_a to_o be_v suffer_v and_o thereupon_o this_o common_a council_n take_v much_o to_o heart_n that_o such_o disobedience_n shall_v grow_v and_o be_v find_v in_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o this_o city_n to_o the_o great_a disrespect_n of_o magistracy_n and_o contempt_n of_o government_n and_o that_o such_o disorder_n and_o tumultuary_a assembly_n shall_v be_v permit_v in_o such_o a_o city_n as_o this_o former_o famous_a for_o the_o good_a and_o quiet_a government_n thereof_o have_v think_v it_o very_o expedient_a and_o behooveful_a for_o redress_v and_o remedy_n to_o be_v have_v in_o these_o abuse_n be_v not_o fit_a to_o be_v any_o long_o induce_v that_o every_o member_n of_o this_o common_a council_n now_o assemble_v shall_v in_o their_o several_a precinct_n spread_v it_o abroad_o and_o make_v it_o know_v that_o if_o any_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v from_o henceforth_o neglect_v his_o duty_n and_o service_n to_o be_v perform_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o shall_v not_o do_v his_o best_a endeavour_n to_o suppress_v or_o prevent_v any_o tumult_n or_o riotous_a assembly_n that_o shall_v hereafter_o be_v attempt_v within_o this_o city_n or_o liberty_n thereof_o that_o then_o he_o or_o they_o offend_v shall_v receive_v condign_a punishment_n according_a to_o his_o or_o their_o demerit_n and_o it_o be_v further_a thought_n fit_a and_o so_o agree_v by_o this_o common_a council_n that_o my_o lord_n major_n
