gospel_n i_o be_o a_o ambassador_n say_v he_o 3._o so_o great_a desire_n have_v god_n that_o lose_v sinner_n embrace_v the_o gospel_n with_o his_o peace_n and_o friendship_n offer_v in_o it_o that_o he_o deal_v with_o they_o not_o as_o with_o traitor_n and_o rebel_n but_o as_o person_n of_o dignity_n and_o respect_n that_o thereby_o they_o may_v be_v the_o more_o induce_v to_o accept_v his_o offer_n for_o king_n and_o state_n send_v not_o ambassador_n to_o private_a obscure_a man_n but_o to_o person_n of_o respect_n and_o worth_n now_o god_n send_v ambassador_n with_o the_o gospel_n to_o sinner_n for_o which_o i_o be_o a_o ambassador_n 4._o that_o god_n do_v gracious_o condescend_v to_o send_v a_o honourable_a embassage_n for_o peace_n and_o friendship_n to_o worthless_a traitor_n and_o rebel_n it_o shall_v make_v the_o lord_n people_n mind_n and_o respect_v those_o who_o be_v entrust_v with_o it_o and_o particular_o to_o hold_v up_o their_o case_n unto_o god_n by_o prayer_n for_o strength_n wisdom_n and_o every_o other_o thing_n which_o become_v those_o who_o be_v employ_v in_o such_o a_o honourable_a errand_n from_o the_o great_a god_n for_o he_o bid_v they_o pray_v for_o he_o because_o he_o be_v a_o ambassador_n send_v from_o god_n with_o the_o gospel_n for_o which_o i_o be_o a_o ambassador_n 5._o though_o our_o provoke_v lord_n do_v send_v a_o message_n of_o peace_n and_o friendship_n unto_o a_o rebellious_a world_n and_o put_v respect_n upon_o they_o by_o send_v ambassador_n to_o they_o in_o his_o stead_n yet_o such_o be_v their_o ingratitude_n and_o such_o enemy_n be_v they_o to_o their_o own_o mercy_n that_o in_o place_n of_o give_v a_o thankful_a meeting_n to_o such_o kind_a usage_n they_o do_v what_o they_o can_v to_o affront_v the_o lord_n not_o only_o by_o slight_v his_o message_n psal._n 81._o 11._o but_o by_o the_o disgraceful_a usage_n of_o his_o ambassador_n contrary_a to_o the_o law_n and_o practice_n of_o all_o nation_n for_o paul_n though_o christ_n ambassador_n be_v nevertheless_o put_v in_o bond_n for_o the_o gospel_n 6._o as_o it_o concern_v the_o lord_n people_n to_o pray_v to_o god_n for_o their_o minister_n at_o all_o time_n so_o chief_o when_o they_o be_v in_o a_o suffer_a case_n lest_o through_o their_o faint_a in_o the_o day_n of_o adversity_n they_o give_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n a_o dash_n philip._n 1._o 19_o 20._o and_o that_o they_o may_v be_v enable_v by_o god_n to_o bear_v persecution_n with_o such_o undaunted_a courage_n as_o persecuter_n may_v see_v their_o labour_n to_o be_v but_o in_o vain_a act_v 5._o 34_o etc._n etc._n and_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n for_o which_o they_o suffer_v may_v receive_v no_o hurt_n but_o advantage_n by_o their_o suffering_n philip._n 1._o 12._o for_o he_o urge_v they_o to_o pray_v for_o he_o from_o this_o that_o for_o the_o gospel_n he_o be_v a_o ambassador_n in_o bond_n 7._o so_o merciful_a and_o long-suffering_a be_v god_n that_o when_o his_o offer_n of_o friendship_n be_v reject_v by_o rebel_n and_o his_o ambassador_n contrary_a to_o the_o law_n of_o nation_n imprison_v and_o wrong_v yet_o he_o do_v not_o present_o give_v up_o with_o they_o and_o denounce_v a_o irreconciliable_a war_n against_o they_o but_o pursue_v they_o with_o kindness_n and_o in_o a_o manner_n beg_v their_o peace_n and_o will_v not_o take_v a_o refusal_n for_o his_o will_n be_v that_o paul_n be_v put_v in_o bond_n by_o they_o shall_v yet_o discharge_v the_o office_n of_o a_o ambassador_n towards_o they_o and_o deliver_v the_o message_n of_o peace_n even_o to_o those_o who_o put_v he_o and_o keep_v he_o in_o bond_n if_o they_o will_v have_v come_v to_o hear_v he_o for_o which_o i_o be_o a_o ambassador_n in_o bond_n 8._o so_o zealous_a shall_v minister_n be_v of_o christ_n honour_n and_o the_o good_a of_o soul_n that_o no_o suffering_n for_o the_o gospel_n shall_v make_v they_o quit_v the_o preach_n of_o it_o but_o even_o when_o through_o persecution_n they_o be_v restrain_v of_o that_o liberty_n which_o they_o sometime_o have_v they_o ought_v to_o be_v always_o do_v and_o make_v use_n of_o what_o liberty_n they_o have_v for_o paul_n though_o in_o bond_n be_v yet_o do_v the_o office_n of_o a_o ambassador_n and_o thirst_v after_o a_o spirit_n of_o courage_n from_o god_n for_o discharge_v of_o it_o faithful_o and_o bold_o i_o be_o a_o ambassador_n in_o bond_n that_o therein_o or_o thereof_o mean_v the_o gospel_n i_o may_v speak_v bold_o 9_o the_o lord_n set_v bound_n to_o the_o wrath_n of_o man_n in_o so_o far_o as_o he_o do_v easy_o abate_v the_o extremity_n of_o their_o rage_n towards_o his_o servant_n and_o do_v not_o permit_v it_o to_o come_v to_o its_o full_a height_n so_o long_o as_o he_o have_v any_o use_n to_o make_v of_o they_o for_o though_o their_o
