afflict_v etc._n etc._n in_o these_o word_n you_o have_v first_o the_o cause_n of_o this_o visitation_n text_n and_o of_o all_o the_o grievance_n he_o speak_v of_o transgression_n and_o iniquity_n and_o then_o the_o kind_n of_o this_o visitation_n sickness_n and_o the_o extremity_n in_o two_o branch_n their_o soul_n abhor_v all_o manner_n of_o meat_n and_o second_o they_o draw_v near_o to_o the_o gate_n death_n and_o then_o the_o carriage_n of_o the_o affect_a and_o sick_a party_n they_o cry_v unto_o the_o lord_n in_o their_o distress_n and_o the_o remedy_n of_o the_o universal_a and_o god_n because_o passion_n present_v thing_n in_o a_o false_a glass_n false_o as_o when_o a_o man_n see_v the_o sun_n through_o a_o cloud_n he_o seem_v big_a when_o man_n look_v not_o on_o thing_n in_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o right_a reason_n but_o through_o affection_n thing_n appear_v to_o they_o otherwise_o then_o they_o be_v and_o there_o be_v none_o in_o nature_n he_o can_v create_v peace_n to_o the_o soul_n in_o the_o the_o midst_n of_o trouble_n of_o conscience_n god_n can_v make_v thing_n out_o of_o nothing_o nay_o out_o of_o contrary_n you_o see_v here_o what_o this_o great_a physician_n have_v do_v he_o fetch_v they_o from_o the_o gate_n of_o death_n when_o their_o soul_n abhor_v all_o manner_n of_o meat_n and_o what_o do_v he_o require_v for_o all_o this_o great_a cure_n sure_o the_o text_n tell_v we_o he_o look_v for_o nothing_o but_o praise_n oh_o that_o man_n will_v therefore_o praise_v the_o lord_n for_o his_o goodness_n etc._n etc._n in_o which_o word_n you_o have_v these_o circumstance_n considerable_a together_o with_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o duty_n first_o the_o person_n who_o must_v praise_v god_n oh_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n and_o then_o the_o duty_n they_o be_v to_o perform_v to_o praise_n god_n to_o sacrifice_v to_o god_n to_o declare_v his_o work_n one_o main_a long-suffering_a because_o he_o be_v good_a this_o be_v the_o primitive_a attribute_n and_o then_o another_o thing_n for_o which_o we_o must_v praise_v he_o for_o his_o wondrous_a work_n for_o the_o child_n of_o man_n four_o the_o manner_n how_o this_o shall_v be_v do_v with_o rejoice_v and_o sing_v as_o the_o word_n signify_v declare_v his_o work_n with_o rejoice_v for_o as_o all_o holy_a action_n must_v be_v do_v joyful_o and_o cheerful_o so_o especial_o praise_v god_n love_v a_o cheerful_a giver_n much_o more_o a_o cheerful_a thanksgiver_n for_o chearfulnesse_n be_v the_o very_a nature_n of_o thanksgiving_n it_o be_v a_o dead_a sacrifice_n of_o thanksgiving_n it_o be_v a_o dead_a sacrifice_n else_o these_o be_v the_o main_n thing_n considerable_a in_o these_o word_n first_o of_o all_o of_o the_o person_n oh_o that_o man_n will_v praise_v the_o lord_n the_o bless_a psalmist_n whosoever_o he_o be_v direct_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n goâ—_n he_o will_v have_v all_o man_n to_o praise_n god_n not_o only_o those_o that_o participate_v and_o have_v interest_n in_o the_o favour_n but_o the_o beholder_n also_o of_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n to_o other_o for_o here_o he_o that_o be_v not_o interress_v in_o these_o favour_n for_o his_o own_o particular_a yet_o he_o praise_v god_n for_o the_o blessing_n to_o other_o other_o and_o he_o wish_v that_o god_n may_v have_v praise_n from_o they_o for_o we_o be_v all_o of_o one_o society_n of_o one_o family_n we_o be_v all_o brethren_n therefore_o we_o must_v praise_v god_n for_o his_o blessing_n and_o benefit_n on_o other_o and_o not_o only_a ourselves_o but_o we_o must_v wish_v that_o all_o will_v do_v so_o and_o special_o we_o must_v praise_v god_n for_o ourselves_o ourselves_o when_o we_o have_v part_n of_o the_o benefit_n for_o shall_v other_o praise_n god_n for_o we_o and_o shall_v notwe_v for_o ourselves_o shall_v the_o church_n of_o god_n abroad_o praise_n god_n for_o his_o great_a deliverance_n of_o this_o city_n as_o there_o be_v no_o church_n in_o the_o world_n that_o hear_v of_o it_o but_o be_v thankful_a for_o it_o and_o shall_v not_o we_o for_o ourselves_o shall_v the_o angel_n in_o heaven_n praise_n god_n and_o sing_v for_o the_o redemption_n of_o the_o church_n by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n glory_n to_o god_n on_o high_a peace_n on_o earth_n 14._o good_a will_n to_o man_n and_o shall_v not_o we_o that_o have_v interest_n in_o the_o work_n of_o redemption_n for_o christ_n be_v not_o a_o mediator_n of_o redemption_n to_o angel_n he_o have_v relation_n to_o they_o in_o mouth_n by_o give_v we_o occasion_n to_o praise_v he_o and_o they_o praise_v he_o in_o themselves_o for_o as_o the_o creature_n groan_v rom._n 8._o 8._o that_o none_o know_v but_o god_n and_o itself_o they_o groan_n for_o the_o corruption_n and_o abuse_v that_o they_o be_v subject_a unto_o and_o god_n know_v those_o groan_n so_o the_o creature_n have_v a_o kind_n of_o voice_n likewise_o in_o praise_v of_o god_n they_o declare_v in_o their_o nature_n the_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o minister_v occasion_n to_o we_o to_o praise_n god_n therefore_o the_o psalmist_n be_v desirous_a that_o glorify_v and_o magnify_v this_o god_n to_o think_v high_o of_o he_o to_o exalt_v he_o in_o our_o thought_n that_o his_o creature_n heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v so_o beautiful_a and_o excellent_a
