unto_o god_n say_v let_v i_o not_o wander_v from_o thy_o commandment_n but_o though_o you_o pray_v that_o god_n let_v you_o not_o wander_v yet_o you_o must_v not_o take_v hold_n of_o every_o occasion_n of_o wander_a leave_v it_o to_o god_n to_o keep_v you_o that_o you_o wander_v not_o for_o if_o with_o such_o a_o heart_n you_o pray_v to_o god_n you_o may_v assure_v yourself_o that_o god_n law_n of_o god_n put_v from_o you_o the_o occasion_n of_o unrighteous_a gain_n and_o draw_v your_o eye_n from_o a_o evil_a or_o lustful_a look_v than_o god_n will_v second_v you_o as_o he_o do_v david_n that_o the_o bait_n of_o this_o life_n shall_v not_o entice_v you_o to_o your_o perdition_n a_o man_n own_o resolution_n of_o mind_n as_o it_o be_v a_o precious_a thing_n and_o acceptable_a of_o god_n so_o it_o be_v very_o powerful_a against_o those_o thing_n against_o which_o it_o be_v settle_v therefore_o do_v but_o put_v on_o this_o resolution_n that_o with_o your_o whole_a heart_n you_o will_v seek_v god_n &_o his_o righteous_a way_n that_o you_o notwithstanding_o the_o foolish_a occasion_n of_o sin_n which_o daily_o will_v offer_v themselves_o unto_o you_o in_o this_o life_n will_v yet_o keep_v yourself_o to_o do_v as_o god_n commandment_n direct_v you_o and_o you_o shall_v feel_v that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o difficult_a a_o thing_n to_o withstand_v sin_n as_o at_o the_o first_o apprehension_n a_o man_n will_v think_v true_a it_o be_v that_o the_o heat_n of_o youth_n as_o it_o tend_v to_o lust_n and_o to_o ambition_n and_o to_o oppression_n and_o to_o wantonness_n so_o it_o be_v a_o warfare_n to_o restrain_v it_o but_o consider_v with_o yourself_o that_o there_o be_v a_o continual_a warrfare_n in_o the_o world_n which_o even_o by_o man_n law_n be_v occasion_v and_o yet_o who_o condemn_v not_o he_o that_o will_v not_o restrain_v his_o appetite_n or_o inclination_n but_o will_v expose_v himself_o for_o the_o satisfy_n of_o it_o unto_o cart_v unto_o lose_v of_o ear_n of_o nose_n or_o the_o like_a unto_o hang_v and_o unto_o quarter_a how_o hardly_o do_v a_o strong_a man_n restrain_v the_o use_n of_o his_o strength_n that_o he_o wound_n not_o this_o man_n and_o kill_v not_o that_o man_n upon_o every_o displeasure_n and_o yet_o for_o the_o law_n sake_n of_o his_o prince_n he_o restrain_v the_o disposition_n of_o his_o strength_n and_o shall_v we_o do_v less_o for_o god_n law_n sake_n how_o difficult_a a_o thing_n be_v it_o for_o young_a and_o lustful_a man_n to_o keep_v themselves_o from_o deflower_v of_o virgin_n from_o abuse_v every_o man_n wife_n and_o yet_o partly_o for_o the_o fear_n of_o man_n who_o displeasure_n shall_v be_v move_v thereby_o partly_o for_o fear_n of_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n they_o do_v restrain_v their_o heat_n and_o do_v not_o all_o that_o youth_n will_v easy_o incite_v and_o enable_v they_o unto_o and_o shall_v we_o not_o then_o endure_v the_o same_o warfare_n of_o restraint_n for_o the_o law_n sake_n of_o god_n how_o many_o be_v able_a to_o steal_v and_o yet_o endure_v want_n rather_o than_o they_o will_v steal_v and_o be_v not_o this_o a_o warfare_n sure_o yes_o but_o if_o for_o fear_n of_o prince_n punishment_n man_n endure_v this_o warfare_n why_o shall_v they_o not_o for_o god_n punishment_n endure_v the_o same_o but_o indeed_o the_o prince_n punishment_n be_v god_n punishment_n though_o god_n can_v and_o will_v punish_v they_o so_o who_o will_v not_o be_v restrain_v for_o the_o punishment_n of_o their_o prince_n as_o no_o prince_n can_v possible_o punish_v any_o god_n can_v punish_v in_o this_o world_n with_o blind_a of_o the_o mind_n harden_v of_o the_o heart_n and_o with_o â—ending_v into_o swinish_a or_o wicked_a man_n evil_a spirit_n to_o lead_v they_o into_o further_a and_o further_o evil_n this_o can_v prince_n do_v and_o yet_o they_o be_v most_o fearful_a judgement_n and_o plague_n of_o god_n even_o in_o this_o life_n beside_o this_o he_o can_v even_o in_o this_o life_n punish_v with_o a_o final_a cast_v away_o or_o reprobation_n and_o in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v with_o a_o keep_n man_n in_o a_o eternal_a live_n in_o pain_n in_o torment_n gnash_v of_o tooth_n word_n and_o never_o quenchable_a burn_v therefore_o though_o occasion_n unto_o sin_n may_v offer_v themselves_o daily_o unto_o you_o yet_o put_v on_o a_o settle_n of_o your_o mind_n to_o keep_v god_n law_n animate_v yourself_o thereto_o by_o the_o invaluable_a benefit_n of_o obedience_n and_o fright_v yourself_o from_o sin_n by_o set_v before_o yourself_o with_o faith_n the_o fearful_a punishment_n of_o disobedience_n and_o join_v herewithal_o a_o invocate_a of_o god_n assistance_n and_o then_o you_o shall_v sure_o much_o the_o more_o easy_o yea_o not_o without_o delight_n feel_v this_o a_o very_a powerful_a mean_n of_o keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n to_o which_o if_o you_o join_v a_o desire_n of_o heart_n and_o prayer_n unto_o god_n that_o you_o may_v discover_v the_o goodness_n and_o utility_n of_o his_o law_n pray_v with_o the_o prophet_n that_o god_n teach_v you_o his_o statute_n that_o he_o open_v your_o eye_n that_o you_o may_v see_v the_o wonder_n of_o his_o law_n that_o he_o make_v you_o understand_v the_o way_n of_o his_o precept_n you_o shall_v sure_o great_o further_a your_o keep_n of_o the_o commandment_n god_n for_o it_o be_v no_o small_a provocation_n to_o the_o keep_n of_o a_o law_n when_o our_o understanding_n be_v open_v to_o discern_v the_o goodness_n utility_n and_o righteousness_n of_o a_o law_n wherefore_o though_o you_o set_v yourself_o industrious_o to_o the_o keep_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n as_o â—â—ling_v or_o guide_v and_o restrain_v in_o all_o your_o action_n communication_n yea_o and_o think_n bridle_v they_o in_o when_o they_o will_v take_v liberty_n to_o wander_v from_o the_o commandment_n yet_o use_v yourself_o withal_o to_o pray_v with_o this_o holy_a prophet_n unto_o god_n that_o god_n assist_v you_o also_o keep_v you_o that_o you_o wander_v not_o from_o his_o commandment_n teach_v you_o open_v your_o understanding_n and_o incline_v your_o heart_n unto_o his_o testimony_n for_o the_o second_o mean_n which_o be_v affliction_n we_o have_v also_o very_o great_a need_n thereof_o therefore_o if_o after_o we_o have_v be_v loose_a in_o any_o thing_n follow_v after_o some_o sin_n cast_v the_o if_o god_n but_o bless_v we_o with_o such_o a_o portion_n of_o this_o world_n wealth_n as_o that_o we_o can_v with_o credit_n and_o boldness_n hold_v society_n with_o the_o rich_a and_o those_o of_o good_a place_n in_o authority_n then_o to_o take_v liberty_n either_o to_o neglect_v all_o dependence_n on_o god_n or_o to_o do_v violence_n to_o some_o who_o we_o malign_v or_o to_o entice_v the_o fair_a or_o beautiful_a woman_n in_o our_o company_n to_o be_v dishonest_a with_o we_o as_o that_o there_o be_v need_n that_o god_n send_v upon_o we_o either_o dejection_n of_o estate_n or_o else_o infirmity_n of_o body_n that_o so_o even_o of_o disability_n to_o be_v any_o long_a bold_a to_o commit_v such_o sin_n we_o may_v both_o turn_v in_o our_o heart_n from_o do_v such_o evil_a and_o also_o turn_v again_o to_o the_o lord_n yield_v obedience_n to_o his_o word_n sure_o if_o this_o holy_a prophet_n can_v say_v before_o i_o be_v afflict_v i_o go_v astray_o but_o now_o i_o keep_v thy_o word_n much_o more_o have_v other_o man_n need_v of_o this_o restraint_n from_o eviâ—â—_n by_o affliction_n wherefore_o learn_v you_o also_o when_o you_o feeleâ—â—â—_n to_o make_v this_o godly_a use_n of_o they_o that_o they_o not_o only_o stay_v you_o from_o further_o stray_v but_o also_o work_v you_o to_o a_o keep_v now_o yet_o the_o word_n of_o your_o god_n say_v with_o yourself_o i_o be_o now_o in_o in_o common_a experience_n that_o man_n live_v under_o government_n do_v usual_o inform_v themselves_o before_o every_o act_n of_o importance_n whether_o the_o law_n permit_v it_o or_o no_o so_o that_o they_o will_v not_o so_o much_o as_o cut_v a_o tree_n break_v open_a a_o hedge_n or_o the_o like_a but_o they_o will_v inform_v themselves_o first_o say_v may_v i_o lawful_o do_v this_o why_o shall_v we_o not_o be_v as_o careful_a of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n consult_v with_o it_o also_o before_o any_o act_n speech_n or_o thought_n inform_v ourselves_o whether_o we_o may_v do_v such_o or_o such_o a_o thing_n or_o no_o if_o man_n do_v not_o thus_o consult_v with_o the_o law_n of_o god_n beforehand_o unvail_v by_o its_o help_n the_o sin_n which_o they_o be_v about_o it_o be_v their_o fault_n and_o such_o a_o fault_n as_o give_v advantage_n to_o sin_n so_o that_o it_o be_v commit_v before_o a_o man_n be_v aware_a of_o what_o it_o be_v he_o be_v about_o but_o the_o child_n of_o god_n that_o look_v for_o the_o rich_a gift_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n may_v not_o be_v so_o negligent_a of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n but_o rather_o with_o the_o prophet_n david_n to_o make_v it_o his_o study_n to_o think_v on_o the_o commandment_n meditate_v also_o on_o they_o some_o now_o some_o another_o time_n for_o thus_o do_v not_o only_o the_o sin_n will_v appear_v to_o the_o soul_n in_o their_o own_o vileness_n but_o also_o the_o soul_n will_v be_v fore-possessed_n with_o a_o dislike_n and_o loathe_n of_o they_o and_o this_o to_o the_o abate_n of_o the_o force_n of_o all_o occasion_n corrupt_v they_o and_o weaken_v they_o nothing_o further_a their_o manliness_n or_o valour_n i_o note_v this_o the_o rather_o because_o it_o be_v the_o error_n of_o some_o mind_n to_o think_v that_o a_o godly_a restraint_n of_o youth_n be_v the_o depression_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o the_o cause_n of_o pusillanimity_n but_o whilst_o all_o exercise_n stir_v the_o body_n and_o refresh_v the_o mind_n and_o spirit_n may_v even_o by_o god_n law_n be_v practise_v the_o use_n of_o such_o thing_n will_v increase_v the_o strength_n and_o magnanimity_n of_o youth_n and_o yet_o without_o admit_v also_o the_o abuse_n and_o indeed_o the_o abuse_n of_o such_o exercise_n bring_v upon_o man_n first_o a_o mischieving_a and_o ruine_v one_o another_o and_o second_o a_o take_v away_o the_o heart_n their_o life_n and_o conversation_n the_o commandment_n of_o god_n they_o seem_v as_o the_o wheel_n whereon_o the_o prosperity_n of_o a_o land_n run_v or_o as_o the_o cause_n thereof_o or_o if_o not_o cause_n yet_o then_o as_o the_o pillar_n of_o the_o same_o and_o therefore_o they_o be_v suffer_v to_o live_v disorderly_a without_o any_o require_v of_o they_o to_o live_v as_o beseem_v christian_n goodness_n deliver_v they_o and_o grant_v they_o the_o blessing_n of_o prosperity_n even_o within_o a_o few_o year_n after_o wickedness_n abound_v in_o that_o people_n and_o nothing_o be_v do_v less_o then_o that_o which_o be_v do_v before_o and_o some_o little_a time_n after_o the_o deliverance_n then_o even_o sin_n against_o god_n â—eemes_v as_o the_o evidence_n of_o god_n blessing_n upon_o the_o land_n for_o the_o most_o part_n of_o the_o people_n do_v not_o otherwise_o express_v or_o show_v thâ—ir_a liberty_n wealth_n and_o prosperity_n then_o by_o word_n or_o action_n contrary_a to_o christian_a religion_n if_o prosperity_n increase_v evil_a house_n increase_v withal_o where_o as_o â—n_v â—afe_a castle_n man_n take_v liberty_n in_o all_o ungodliness_n but_o what_o will_v be_v the_o end_n of_o this_o what_o will_v be_v the_o issue_n of_o this_o forget_v the_o deliverance_n which_o god_n have_v send_v we_o sure_o a_o new_a plunge_v we_o into_o adversity_n be_v it_o not_o hitherto_o we_o do_v without_o great_a and_o fearful_a visitation_n but_o now_o if_o the_o wicked_a be_v account_v as_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o land_n prosperity_n inas_fw-la much_o as_o through_o thâ—m_n god_n be_v move_v to_o anger_n against_o the_o land_n and_o as_o for_o such_o eyed_a with_o some_o measure_n of_o indignation_n by_o governor_n and_o if_o they_o that_o fear_v god_n and_o meditate_v upon_o it_o be_v take_v for_o if_o any_o man_n purpose_n with_o himself_o and_o set_v his_o heart_n to_o seek_v god_n commandment_n that_o they_o may_v serve_v to_o guide_v and_o rule_v because_o the_o stream_n of_o this_o world_n disposition_n run_v violent_o against_o the_o man_n that_o will_v keep_v god_n commandment_n for_o such_o be_v in_o most_o man_n the_o custom_n to_o err_v from_o the_o way_n of_o god_n commandment_n that_o he_o that_o walk_v in_o they_o shall_v hardly_o find_v any_o man_n that_o be_v not_o either_o against_o he_o or_o at_o leastwise_o not_o addict_v to_o that_o way_n he_o walk_v in_o and_o because_o our_o own_o corrupt_a nature_n be_v hardly_o bring_v in_o obedience_n to_o yield_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o righteousness_n therefore_o i_o to_o do_v his_o commandment_n be_v little_o less_o then_o to_o deny_v and_o put_v off_o from_o we_o his_o mastery_n or_o lordship_n wherefore_o also_o those_o who_o as_o at_o liberty_n to_o do_v or_o commandment_n and_o the_o odious_a wickedness_n &_o hurt_n which_o come_v to_o man_n society_n by_o do_v thing_n forbid_v &_o this_o to_o make_v they_o love_v the_o commandment_n itself_o also_o for_o its_o righteousness_n hate_v also_o the_o thing_n forbid_v for_o its_o odiousness_n and_o hurt_n let_v these_o thing_n i_o say_v be_v more_o frequent_o and_o intentive_o do_v by_o the_o lord_n minister_n and_o then_o there_o may_v be_v good_a hope_n of_o reap_v from_o god_n people_n a_o very_a plenteous_a harvest_n of_o good_a and_o pious_a work_n do_v in_o obedience_n to_o the_o law_n and_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o indeed_o beside_o the_o bare_a injunction_n of_o keep_v the_o commandment_n we_o find_v in_o the_o scripture_n many_o motive_n also_o or_o inducement_n set_v we_o be_v negligent_a of_o the_o cause_n so_o we_o can_v hardly_o expect_v to_o attain_v with_o the_o saint_n before_o we_o a_o diligent_a joyful_a and_o willing_a observation_n of_o god_n law_n whilst_o we_o be_v negligent_a to_o make_v use_n of_o those_o motive_n or_o inducement_n by_o which_o they_o be_v draw_v hereunto_o suffer_v i_o therefore_o patient_o i_o pray_v you_o collect_v out_o of_o the_o scripture_n to_o your_o hand_n first_o somâ—_n good_a evidence_n how_o david_n and_o in_o he_o other_o saint_n receive_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n that_o so_o by_o this_o testimony_n not_o into_o god_n eternal_a wrath_n yet_o frequent_o into_o his_o punishment_n temporary_a by_o their_o respect_n more_o to_o please_v man_n even_o in_o their_o wickedness_n then_o to_o honour_v the_o lord_n with_o the_o observation_n of_o his_o holy_a commandment_n in_o all_o company_n it_o be_v indeed_o the_o miserable_a and_o fearful_a condition_n of_o our_o time_n that_o there_o be_v hardly_o any_o joy_n or_o mirth_n but_o must_v be_v in_o sin_n some_o or_o other_o of_o god_n commandment_n must_v be_v presumptuous_o break_v that_o man_n may_v be_v merry_a but_o it_o be_v but_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o time_n for_o there_o may_v be_v a_o separation_n of_o joy_n and_o hearty_a mirth_n from_o sin_n if_o man_n will_v but_o take_v care_n that_o they_o make_v not_o a_o sport_n of_o sin_n yet_o as_o here_o be_v not_o the_o place_n of_o a_o christian_n true_a liberty_n and_o rejoice_v for_o there_o be_v still_o a_o devil_n in_o the_o world_n so_o indeed_o it_o be_v not_o common_o to_o be_v expect_v that_o we_o can_v here_o be_v merry_a and_o not_o sin_n now_o whilst_o all_o company_n affect_v mirth_n &_o a_o liberty_n to_o be_v pleasant_a &_o hardly_o a_o man_n can_v keep_v god_n commandment_n &_o yet_o be_v merry_a with_o man_n as_o man_n be_v now_o for_o the_o most_o part_n dispose_v this_o cause_v if_o not_o a_o cast_n aside_o whole_o the_o keep_n of_o the_o lord_n commandment_n yet_o sure_o a_o restreynt_a in_o the_o saint_n such_o also_o as_o be_v somewhat_o distasteful_a to_o society_n but_o see_v there_o shall_v be_v a_o judgement_n there_o shall_v be_v a_o eternal_a burn_a why_o shall_v we_o not_o bethink_v ourselves_o of_o it_o before_o hand_n that_o we_o cast_v not_o ourselves_o foolish_o therein_o by_o take_v a_o unlawful_a liberty_n to_o ourselves_o in_o our_o mirth_n and_o sport_v therefore_o if_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v so_o that_o a_o man_n can_v be_v hearty_o merry_a but_o he_o must_v sin_v let_v we_o then_o choose_v a_o authority_n among_o other_o with_o a_o insult_a or_o masterfull_a humour_n yet_o we_o may_v keep_v ourselves_o and_o true_o as_o i_o have_v many_o time_n in_o my_o heart_n bless_v our_o prince_n for_o their_o admirable_a restreint_a of_o wicked_a action_n so_o i_o have_v many_o time_n mourn_v to_o see_v that_o none_o of_o their_o law_n stretch_v unto_o a_o bridle_a also_o of_o wickedness_n in_o communication_n in_o communication_n man_n may_v well_o near_o blasphemous_o swear_v without_o any_o danger_n of_o law_n in_o communication_n they_o may_v laugh_v at_o adultery_n commit_v in_o communication_n they_o may_v make_v sport_n well_o near_o of_o any_o sin_n and_o yet_o be_v without_o danger_n of_o law_n but_o whilst_o communication_n have_v this_o liberty_n the_o corrupt_a nature_n of_o man_n have_v too_o great_a advantage_n to_o spread_v abroad_o the_o poison_n of_o all_o ungodliness_n and_o sin_n communication_n be_v as_o the_o seed_n evil_a action_n the_o fruit_n suffer_v the_o seed_n and_o you_o shall_v never_o be_v without_o evil_a action_n whereas_o communication_n be_v a_o publish_n of_o thing_n even_o corrupt_a profane_a or_o wicked_a communication_n may_v aswell_o have_v penal_a law_n for_o it_o as_o action_n therefore_o as_o even_o communication_n of_o treason_n be_v deserve_o punishable_a so_o the_o break_n of_o god_n commandment_n even_o in_o communication_n may_v profitable_o be_v punishable_a thus_o have_v give_v you_o some_o good_a evidence_n how_o david_n be_v manifest_v to_o have_v receive_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n i_o will_v most_o true_a restreinte_v from_o thing_n true_o evil_a be_v find_v be_v account_v as_o the_o special_a light_n of_o our_o nation_n &_o cherish_v of_o our_o magistrate_n as_o for_o such_o to_o conclude_v see_v our_o nation_n in_o the_o church_n reform_v have_v receive_v by_o the_o gospel_n so_o bless_v a_o change_n as_o from_o darkness_n unto_o light_n well_o may_v we_o be_v move_v to_o world_n riches_n the_o incessant_a employment_n in_o the_o commonwealth_n or_o the_o continual_a pleasure_n of_o court_n will_v not_o suffer_v you_o so_o much_o as_o to_o mind_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n yet_o consider_v with_o yourself_o that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n to_o who_o account_v of_o this_o life_n must_v be_v give_v for_o as_o we_o make_v not_o ourselves_o nor_o these_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n so_o sure_o the_o maker_n will_v have_v a_o account_n of_o all_o therefore_o though_o these_o thing_n may_v somewhat_o yet_o let_v they_o not_o whole_o
transport_v you_o say_v with_o yourself_o in_o some_o breathe_a time_n shall_v i_o whole_o neglect_v god_n my_o creator_n shall_v he_o make_v rich_a and_o inestimable_a promise_n and_o shall_v i_o shall_v i_o be_v the_o better_a be_v this_o a_o thing_n to_o be_v desire_v have_v i_o need_v of_o it_o thus_o teach_v yourself_o by_o selfe-questioning_a to_o open_a to_o yourself_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o promise_n and_o the_o need_n which_o you_o yourself_o right_o consider_v your_o mortal_a condition_n have_v of_o it_o and_o then_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o that_o the_o thing_n promise_v will_v appear_v such_o as_o that_o you_o can_v but_o both_o esteem_v it_o and_o desire_v also_o to_o attain_v unto_o it_o this_o may_v be_v a_o convenient_a remedy_n against_o the_o three_o error_n consider_v we_o therefore_o in_o the_o next_o place_n a_o remedy_n against_o the_o four_o and_o last_o error_n if_o you_o think_v that_o all_o that_o god_n do_v for_o you_o be_v put_v off_o to_o another_o life_n so_o that_o in_o this_o life_n you_o have_v no_o benefit_n of_o any_o of_o his_o promise_n then_o teach_v yourself_o to_o know_v better_o by_o inform_v yourself_o of_o the_o many_o and_o inestimable_o rich_a promise_n of_o god_n which_o be_v in_o the_o church_n you_o enjoy_v even_o in_o this_o life_n very_o as_o many_o man_n enjoy_v the_o light_n of_o the_o day_n never_o think_v of_o it_o as_o of_o a_o precious_a gift_n of_o god_n so_o many_o enjoy_v the_o rich_a blessing_n of_o the_o church_n never_o perceive_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n unto_o they_o therein_o but_o let_v such_o negligence_n be_v with_o fool_n not_o with_o wise_a man_n thus_o have_v i_o show_v you_o brief_o some_o convenient_a remedy_n against_o these_o common_a and_o also_o potent_a error_n but_o he_o remain_v out_o of_o the_o church_n have_v right_o unto_o any_o of_o the_o promise_n he_o that_o be_v out_o of_o the_o church_n have_v no_o right_a unless_o he_o be_v call_v but_o be_v call_v and_o upon_o the_o call_v obey_v and_o believe_v the_o promise_n be_v make_v unto_o he_o act._n 2._o 38._o and_o if_o you_o be_v bear_v within_o the_o church_n then_o unless_o you_o prove_v a_o esau_n bottom_n of_o your_o heart_n and_o then_o yet_o believe_v the_o gospel_n you_o may_v be_v most_o assure_v that_o all_o the_o precious_a promise_n of_o god_n belong_v and_o shall_v certain_o be_v perform_v unto_o you_o to_o conclude_v labour_v first_o to_o have_v a_o knowledge_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n and_o then_o labour_v to_o get_v a_o estimation_n of_o they_o and_o desire_v of_o heart_n after_o they_o for_o if_o this_o be_v once_o attain_v than_o your_o heart_n will_v keep_v the_o lord_n commandment_n yea_o though_o but_o because_o it_o will_v not_o loose_v those_o so_o rich_a thing_n whereof_o now_o it_o have_v a_o desire_n but_o to_o beget_v a_o estimation_n you_o must_v consider_v well_o the_o thing_n promise_v you_o must_v compare_v it_o with_o the_o other_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n you_o must_v consider_v the_o need_n you_o have_v of_o it_o and_o the_o better_n yourself_o by_o it_o for_o as_o these_o thing_n be_v more_o or_o less_o apprehend_v by_o your_o heart_n and_o soul_n so_o be_v your_o heart_n and_o soul_n more_o or_o less_o esteem_n of_o the_o promise_n but_o as_o the_o heart_n esteem_v be_v such_o also_o be_v its_o affection_n for_o if_o it_o first_o esteem_v not_o of_o a_o thing_n it_o will_v have_v no_o desire_n of_o it_o though_o it_o may_v have_v it_o therefore_o some_o time_n and_o that_o in_o your_o most_o serious_a and_o private_a meditation_n set_v before_o your_o soul_n now_o one_o than_o another_o of_o the_o promise_n question_v your_o own_o self_n what_o you_o think_v of_o this_o and_o whether_o it_o be_v a_o precious_a thing_n or_o no_o if_o it_o may_v be_v have_v but_o this_o be_v sure_a of_o that_o if_o none_o of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n prevail_v over_o your_o esteem_n and_o desire_n draw_v they_o many_o other_o trap_n do_v wicked_a person_n and_o politic_a lay_n to_o entrap_v they_o unto_o shame_n at_o leastwise_o if_o not_o unto_o perdition_n also_o who_o let_v not_o loose_v the_o reins_n to_o run_v with_o they_o in_o the_o full_a speed_n of_o that_o ungodliness_n wherein_o themselves_o delight_n but_o he_o that_o have_v a_o eye_n upon_o the_o commandment_n of_o the_o lord_n eschew_v also_o be_v disobedient_a to_o my_o god_n shall_v i_o also_o be_v wicked_a what_o be_v this_o but_o to_o double_v my_o misery_n therefore_o i_o will_v rather_o set_v myself_o now_o to_o the_o word_n
