christian_n can_v wish_v they_o for_o god_n be_v always_o suitable_a to_o himself_o in_o all_o his_o deal_n get_v good_a reason_n to_o trust_n god_n with_o thy_o foul_a and_o thou_o will_v never_o well_o enough_o against_o godliness_n and_o piety_n of_o life_n some_o scrape_v to_o keep_v and_o look_v upon_o it_o some_o scrape_v to_o scatter_v &_o misspend_v it_o the_o one_o of_o these_o be_v as_o violent_a in_o his_o course_n as_o the_o other_o and_o this_o sin_n be_v as_o hurtful_a yea_o and_o more_o hurtful_a to_o the_o party_n self_n to_o the_o church_n and_o common_a weal_n when_o it_o be_v keep_v as_o a_o retainer_n to_o a_o other_o sin_n than_o if_o he_o have_v the_o chiefedome_n and_o lordship_n itself_o let_v not_o the_o prodigal_a let_v not_o the_o ambition_n let_v not_o himself_o and_o those_o that_o belong_v to_o he_o with_o food_n wholesome_a &_o competent_a though_o perhaps_o somewhat_o course_n as_o also_o to_o clothe_v himself_o and_o he_o with_o warm_a clothing_n though_o neither_o of_o the_o fine_a not_o in_o the_o fashion_n if_o his_o desire_n do_v not_o here_o stay_v themselves_o but_o still_o cry_v more_o more_o this_o man_n be_v covetous_a this_o sin_n be_v covetousness_n he_o that_o will_v have_v more_o than_o he_o have_v have_v that_o which_o will_v suffice_v for_o his_o honest_a maintenance_n though_o not_o in_o such_o gay_a &_o command_n but_o it_o be_v strive_v against_o resist_v complain_v off_o and_o have_v many_o a_o supplication_n put_v up_o and_o many_o a_o suit_n commence_v against_o it_o in_o the_o court_n of_o heaven_n for_o usurp_v in_o a_o other_o man_n right_a to_o such_o it_o be_v exceed_o cumbersome_a &_o tedious_a and_o do_v they_o marvellous_a much_o annoyance_n but_o yet_o it_o can_v neither_o produce_v those_o vile_a effect_n nor_o bring_v in_o those_o horrible_a curse_n in_o a_o word_n some_o have_v it_o and_o do_v beware_v and_o take_v heed_n of_o it_o as_o a_o disease_n that_o be_v apply_v with_o medicine_n these_o it_o molest_v but_o kill_v not_o other_o have_v it_o and_o never_o suspect_v fear_v nor_o take_v heed_n of_o it_o as_o a_o disease_n that_o a_o man_n careless_o let_v go_v without_o medicine_v to_o these_o it_o be_v not_o so_o toilsome_a but_o more_o dangerous_a for_o it_o slay_v their_o soul_n by_o bring_v forth_o those_o bad_a stuit_n before_o name_v and_o thus_o as_o plain_o as_o i_o can_v i_o have_v show_v you_o what_o covetousness_n be_v in_o the_o very_a nature_n of_o it_o consider_v without_o respect_n of_o the_o degree_n thereof_o now_o i_o come_v to_o show_v you_o the_o mark_n and_o token_n of_o it_o it_o the_o sign_n of_o it_o which_o be_v the_o second_o thing_n i_o promise_v to_o the_o end_n man_n may_v know_v themselves_o by_o which_o a_o man_n may_v also_o see_v in_o what_o measure_n or_o degree_n this_o sin_n be_v in_o he_o for_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v find_v in_o his_o life_n rare_o and_o seldom_o then_o covetousness_n have_v some_o secret_a and_o unknown_a allowance_n through_o the_o deceitfulness_n of_o his_o heart_n but_o it_o be_v not_o witting_o and_o wilful_o maintain_v if_o they_o do_v appear_v often_o and_o ordinary_o they_o have_v more_o deal_n in_o the_o world_n than_o ourselves_o if_o they_o will_v not_o give_v at_o what_o time_n we_o will_v have_v they_o or_o such_o like_a but_o when_o in_o our_o fond_a self-love_n we_o be_v to_o speak_v of_o ourselves_o we_o will_v not_o dare_v to_o conclude_v we_o be_v very_o covetous_a no_o not_o upon_o the_o sound_a ground_n and_o sure_a proof_n to_o return_v therefore_o to_o the_o point_n there_o be_v 4._o sure_a and_o infallible_a sign_n and_o mark_n of_o this_o vice_n which_o do_v as_o certain_o prove_v it_o to_o be_v in_o the_o soul_n as_o the_o most_o easy_o see_v and_o selt_z in_o man_n of_o low_a place_n for_o as_o some_o disease_n have_v their_o diverse_a sign_n in_o diverse_a constitution_n so_o have_v also_o sin_n in_o diverse_a condition_n and_o estate_n diverse_a mark_n to_o know_v they_o by_o now_o this_o cark_n be_v for_o man_n of_o mean_a estate_n principal_o to_o try_v themselves_o by_o he_o that_o do_v grieve_v &_o molest_v himself_o for_o the_o fear_n of_o want_n and_o misery_n to_o come_v hereafter_o for_o that_o be_v a_o proper_a description_n of_o cark_n it_o be_v sorrow_n conceive_v upon_o the_o doubt_n and_o suspicion_n of_o that_o need_n that_o may_v come_v the_o man_n i_o say_v that_o do_v so_o vex_v and_o trouble_v himself_o be_v in_o that_o degree_n covetous_a that_o thus_o grieve_a for_o the_o affection_n of_o our_o heart_n be_v in_o their_o several_a work_n so_o join_v and_o link_v together_o that_o the_o work_n of_o some_o will_v not_o appear_v but_o upon_o the_o precedent_n work_v of_o
