enrich_n of_o themselves_o by_o oppress_v their_o fellow-subject_n in_o their_o liberty_n and_o estate_n be_v more_o proper_a either_o in_o answer_v their_o book_n entitle_v a_o true_a relation_n concern_v the_o soap_n business_n or_o in_o proof_n of_o the_o charge_n which_o i_o shall_v exhibit_v against_o they_o in_o the_o high_a and_o honourable_a court_n of_o parliament_n for_o their_o delinquency_n not_o only_o in_o their_o take_n of_o their_o oppress_a patent_n but_o also_o in_o their_o cruel_a barbarous_a and_o inhuman_a prosecution_n of_o it_o in_o both_o which_o i_o have_v make_v some_o progress_n in_o and_o preparation_n for_o 1._o the_o general_a part_n of_o their_o petition_n be_v three_o 1._o the_o body_n or_o subject_a matter_n of_o their_o petition_n which_o consist_v of_o six_o particular_a branch_n 2._o the_o argument_n on_o which_o the_o request_n of_o their_o petition_n be_v ground_v 3._o the_o request_n of_o their_o petition_n itself_o 2._o the_o open_n or_o explanation_n of_o this_o their_o petition_n in_o the_o general_a part_n of_o this_o their_o petition_n which_o be_v the_o body_n or_o subject_a matter_n of_o the_o petition_n you_o shall_v find_v these_o four_o thing_n lay_v down_o first_o that_o these_o patentee_n be_v by_o the_o patent_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o white_a sope-patentees_a prohibit_v their_o trade_n for_o divers_a year_n together_o together_o with_o the_o sad_a consequence_n that_o do_v fall_v upon_o these_o petitioner_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o patent_n which_o they_o demonstrate_v by_o these_o five_o petitioner_n suffering_n by_o the_o patent_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o other_o patentee_n be_v express_v in_o the_o two_o first_o branch_n of_o this_o petition_n the_o answer_n be_v that_o think_v it_o be_v a_o undeniable_a truth_n which_o they_o have_v set_v forth_o yet_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v think_v or_o do_v render_v they_o the_o more_o excusable_a nor_o be_v their_o sin_n in_o take_v their_o oppress_a patent_n extenuate_v thereby_o but_o aggravate_v and_o that_o for_o this_o reason_n because_o they_o act_v the_o sin_n of_o other_o against_o light_n namely_o the_o sin_n of_o oppression_n not_o of_o a_o ordinary_a but_o of_o a_o scarlet_a dye_n not_o only_o act_v unrighteous_a decree_n but_o procurer_n of_o they_o thus_o make_v their_o prince_n a_o oppressor_n to_o his_o people_n by_o their_o false_a pretence_n in_o not_o only_o a_o law_n destroy_v but_o a_o land_n ruinate_v sin_n which_o they_o themselves_o have_v demonstrate_v unto_o we_o by_o four_o thing_n in_o these_o first_o &_o second_o branch_n so_o that_o i_o may_v say_v unto_o they_o as_o christ_n say_v to_o the_o unprofitable_a servant_n they_o may_v be_v judge_v out_o of_o their_o own_o mouth_n which_o be_v well_o consider_v will_v render_v the_o petitioner_n enemy_n as_o well_o as_o the_o other_o patentee_n not_o only_o to_o the_o king_n majesty_n but_o also_o to_o the_o law_n liberties_n the_o self_n same_o sinful_a design_n under_o the_o self_n same_o sinful_a pretence_n for_o as_o they_o then_o deal_v with_o the_o king_n and_o kingdom_n in_o gain_v of_o their_o patent_n so_o now_o these_o patentee_n deal_v absalon_n like_a with_o the_o parliament_n and_o kingdom_n witness_v their_o proposition_n concern_v the_o excize_n of_o soap_n by_o they_o present_v to_o the_o honourable_a person_n which_o be_v not_o patentees_n that_o have_v serve_v apprenticeship_n and_o have_v be_v bring_v up_o in_o the_o mystery_n of_o soap_n be_v suppress_v by_o these_o patentee_n and_o prohibit_v to_o boil_v soap_n yea_o and_o some_o of_o they_o their_o good_n seize_v and_o material_n spoil_v and_o destroy_v yea_o all_o man_n hinder_v and_o become_v a_o prey_n to_o they_o which_o do_v boil_v for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o themselves_o and_o family_n but_o if_o by_o not_o be_v bring_v up_o to_o these_o patentee_n art_n they_o do_v mean_a be_v not_o bring_v up_o and_o serve_v apprenticeship_n in_o their_o art_n of_o monopolise_v the_o mystery_n of_o sope-boyling_a into_o eight_o or_o ten_o man_n hand_n than_o the_o supposition_n be_v true_a but_o else_o it_o be_v false_o employ_v now_o there_o be_v this_o reason_n to_o be_v give_v deductable_a from_o their_o own_o show_v in_o the_o order_n of_o the_o star-chamber_n which_o i_o have_v here_o recite_v why_o by_o their_o art_n must_v of_o necessity_n be_v understand_v their_o art_n of_o monopolise_v the_o sope-boyling_a art_n because_o by_o their_o own_o show_v that_o all_o man_n which_o boâ—led_a soap_n and_o be_v not_o a_o member_n of_o their_o monopolise_n patent_n be_v undue_a boiler_n of_o sope._n 2._o that_o all_o man_n which_o these_o patentee_n do_v suppress_v from_o boil_a soap_n do_v as_o legal_o
